AWESOME, I can still torture Carla! Bwahahaha.
YES I am going to Europe (specifically Germany, Austria, England and Ireland) on a music tour with my school. We get to go to our sister schools and go shopping and do masses in churches and go out on the town and sightsee and GENERALLY BE AWESOME. I am looking forward to it immensely and we leave on the 6th of January or something and come back on the 25th or something similar and it will be GREAT.
WHAT INSTRUMENT DO I PLAY? I PLAY VOICE.
Unfortunately some of our songs are incredibly BORING and-or TACKY and corny but that's okay really. Because, come on, we get to SHOP and PARTY in EUROPE. Gahhh.

Uhm, am I the only one that wants to STOP the fire? D:
My plan is to furiously switch around doorknobs until we find a door with water in it. HOW DOES THAT SOUND GUYS? 8D
Oh wait, can't open any more doors until the other doorknob is back... hm...
Laki, are the monsters that took Roddy and then released him again afraid of light? 8D
Also, how big is the fire right now, Laki? Gideon probably should retrieve the ball of light before it destroys the rest of the house.
Plan B: We close the doors to the library before it spreads into the rest of the hall. They should lock automatically, cutting off oxygen and slowing the speed of the fire. However, the house would burn down.

but then that depends on how the house works. considering that the portion we are in now is apparently an unrecognisable part of the original castle, it could be that the fire won't affect the castle.
But I dunno.
Also I totally want to stop the fire also!! but Carla is too busy having panicmoments.

*rubs hands together* Alrighty! Let's see what we can do here.... For most 'events' that I planned in the castle, there are many options for success, and for failure. As this is one of the unplanned possibilities, there are very limited options for success, and it's all up to everything else that's going on on the floor. I'd say the fire has spread to at least three bookcases by now, based on the descriptions of the posts.
I'll answer Meta's questions first before showing tips:
The creature will Avoid light because they like to be sneaky, and unseen. Unfortunately light doesn't hurt them, and fire.... fire will do something VERY interesting, but it may or may not be in your guy's favor, depending on some certain prerequisites. I can honestly say right at this point, PLEASE DO NOT LIGHT THEM AFLAME! It will burn down the house. You may get a chance to do it later, but with things as they are, the castle will end up a pile of ash, hahaha.
And I'm afraid both of your plans will end in disaster, because even if the room is destroyed by itself, and doesn't burn down the house.... you guys need stuff in the library. So by my mystical godly powers over the game, I will make sure nothing important is scorched. Because I'm magical and convenient like that xd .
And there's no way in heck you guys will randomly be able to figure out which doorknobs go where, and even if you did, the library is still going to burn the house down, hhahaha.
So here is my offering of tips;
I am going to have Alex go after the 'creatures' after I'm done with this post( or wingless wants to play as him nows???). Now here is a little formula for all of you:
(Doorknob + search + water + Carlotta) x (Gideon + windows)
This is my best answer for this at the moment. We're going to need all the characters to kick it into high gear once you get the stolen doorknob back. Let us all remember that very literally, a fire has been lit under our collective asses, xd , hhahahaa.

Ohoho Laki, is this 1600s? I've been thinking it Victorian the entire time ahaha. I think maybe someone said that sometime and it got stuck in my head, but now I shall have to recontextualise everything that I'm visualising XD
Also, where is Chastityyyyy? D: I didn't want to post before her because we had this entire chase-thing going on with Carla.

then it's a free for all, though to give Rose and Roderick something to do, may someone please fill them in on what's going on? I think they're a little freaked out/directionless. And as far as I know, I'm still playing Roderick. Any last bids on the orange man?? Haha

I thought this was in the 1800s. After all, I think the original story was made in the 1800s.
Also, does anyone know where Chastity is at this point? D: *freaking out about getting dead'd, knowing Gideon is integral to fixing the problem*

Chastity is in the hall by the door to the library, and at the moment she will be stunned by the bookshelf that just hit her. So you may be able to slip by her while she regains her beastly senses. razz

Hmm, I'lll check the date on the story again.
But anyways, Sorry for the long time no post from me everyone! Crazyness ensued... but now I am back, bwahahaha... And I have a new player for Alex, who is in training currently. He shall join us soon hopefully. ^_^
For now I shall go plan out a new post for the RP... I have to get some things rolling, some I'm sorry if I take a little control over your characters along the way XD.

Yesh! I think you're great for Roddy, being the comedy relief occasionally, and you actually had a good grasp of his character. Not to mention you have a developing back story for him, so I think you'll be the best person for him. smile
