Jet remained silent as he send out blast after blast of black flame from one hand, and brimstone from Ares's sword. Blood red lightning rained down on the enemy from the sky and the ground erupted in random places, but never hitting Jet or one of the others fighting the Martians.
"RALLY TO ME!!!"
Jet's deafining roar of a voice carried over the entire battlefield. Soldiers came around Jet and cleared a space twenty paces across(twenty steps) and all of them where ready to open up to let Jet's friends inside of the 'safety zone'. Two ranks of spearmen circled around Jet with two ranks of swordsmen behind them and then three ranks of bowmen behind them. Spears kept the enemy back as arrows of fire rained down on the enemy. Further out, two hundred and fiffty thousand troops closed in on the remaining middle Maritians. It was still going to be a while before the battle was over.

"That would be your mothership blowing up" said Blade to a middle martian while beheading him

Zenith looks up to the sky to see if he could find the group that went up there. "I see them, their auras, but I don't see Shadan's. That could be bad, especially since Vragen's seemed to have calmed, and I'm afraid they're related."

suddenly all the remaining 100 troops dropped their weapons and offered to surrender
then the radio crackled "This is Blade calling from the ship, mission is a success, mothership destroyed, but Shadan has ascended, please respond"

"Geeze, they're just surrendering, how weak!" Zenith said, annoyed.
"Well, 'ascended' is an odd way of putting things, I knew something had to have happened to him, though."

"Um, he's not dead, he just turned into a bunch of energy, but while he's completely ascended he can't interfer with us" said Blade over the radio
Skylus took out a gun and slaughtered all of the remaining martians "Thats for destroying my people" said Skylus with an angry look on his face

Jet looked around at the fresh bodies littering the Barstring Desert, and sighed. He actually sighed because of the masses of blood and flesh. Then he put a hand to the radio mic that was on a collar style piece of fabric around his neck. (think Naruto radios)
"Rodger that Blade. Bring who's left home."
The army that Jet had summoned began to regroup and form up into a single army. Only twenty thousand soldiers had been lost, a very good number considering the odds. Still, sadness was in Jet's heart. He knew that every second that passed was another second that he was closer to death. Of course, no one would be able to tell how Jet felt, except mabey for Kioko becasue of her new powers. Jet's face remained as hard as stone as the army that he had summoned began to set up camp. Everyone was staying here unless anything called them away.

Shadan's ship landed and Blade, Vragen, and Arllien were pushed out of the ship and then it flew off to the airstrip

Vragen looked at all the bodies 'let the bodies hit the floor' he thought, then he turned to Blade "They got a major battle, why'd Shadan have to take me away for that?"
Arllien smacked hit palm to his forehead, "Will you just shut up Vragen?"

"Thanks, but the King escaped, killed Shadan, but Shadan turned into energy. And some thing is hurting my butt." said Blade pulling out Shadan's arm that was now in Dragon Form
