"I'm not hiding anything, except the straight forward answers, most of the time. I don't actually know what's there, but I can sense... A presense of some sort. And go ahead and shoot me, I'm sure that would be wise to do! Waste your ammunition rather than saving it for when it is needed!"
"What..." Michael started, but then cut himself short, realising it wouldn't be best to interrupt.
"For now we should learn a bit about the island, and get the needed things. Perhaps later we can find out what the presense is," Ronalich suggested. "Being capable of immaterializing would probably be a required ability for this, and I doubt any of you can do it. The problem is, I tried that before, and whether or not I'm materialized there seems to be a pressure field."
Michael thought about the pressure shield mentioned. Could it mean that there was somebody else there who harnesses the ability to affect gravity? Surely that would mean it would be active only some of the time, though... That might actually be the key to getting past it! But what it if was simply a technology... That would need an EMP shockwave, and where would they get that around here? Water might be able to shorcircuit it, and water is known to have the ability to withstand much pressure... Would pressurized water get through a wall if there was on, though?
"More likely, however," Ronalich continued, "one of you has telepathic powers and could find out a bit more about the presense."

Danni had closed her eys now, muffled words and phrases were bouning around in her head. Somethin about water, and the fence...a force field. None of it was making any sense.
When Rolanich mentioned one of them being a telepath, it brought her back and she turned to face the cat. Was he talking about her? Was that what was happening to her? Was she becoming someone who could read minds.
She opened her mouth to respond but changed her mind and turned away from him again. Danni let out a quiet sigh, if there was fortesss on the otherside of the fence, the fence she still had yet to see. That meant that there would be one more thing going against them.
After a couple moments in her mind, she decided to leave the present situatuon. Sure, wondering around this place wouldn't be smart by herself. But at least no one would have a gunto her head then.
She stood, "I'm going for a walk..." The image of a mysterious fence falshed in her mind, "None of this makes sense and I need to clear my head." "...maybe this fence or whatever's on the other side has some answer..."
Then headed off back towards the forest without saying another word. Though the man had said he wouldn't harm them, there's was no telling if that was the truth or not.

"I uh... Think I'll just join her... Too many things happening at once," Michael said, backed up a few steps, turned, and jogged away. Behind him the water shot and blocked the view.
"Let them go. They can't handle so much at a time," Ronalich said. "Their minds are always jumbled with things anyhow, to crash land, gain new powers, feel threatened, and think there's another presense of sorts they don't know of is enough to drive them insane.
"Well, now I know that I do have controll of water..." Michael thought as he hurried to Danni. "Mind some company?" he asked as he reached her. "Little too much to handle back there. Of course we'll have to return, too dangerous to stay away from him too long."

((Personally, I think that you should wait for Sormani.))
"Let them go? You're not very smart for a sentient being, now are you? Whatever might be behind that fence, I'm sure that a nine millimeter handgun will help. If nothing else, I'll shadow them and wait until they need help. I can only assume that you're hiding my identity from them, since you managed to get in my head earlier and cause that screaming noise. That's good. If they attack me out of fear, I'll shoot them. So don't give them any cause to be afraid."
"Not only that, but the fence is metal, and that metal had to come from somewhere, and if there's a building made out of metal behind it, we'll have enough material to repair the plane. I'd like to get off of this rock and collect the three million dollars I earned from my last contract."
With that, Korbaine bolted toward the wall of water, and when he reached it, he circled around and followed the water back until he sighted Michael and Danni. He stayed out of sight, walking carefully and silently.

((Sorry, I didn't mean to offend I just wasn't sure if you were going to be too busy learning so many languages 'n all. ^^;; ))
"...'know...controll...water...'..." Danni closed her eyes and tried to piece what little content the words were forming together. She could now recognize the voice as belonging to Micheal, though what his voice had been saying still confused.
"I guess I can read minds...in a way..." She thought to herself with a sigh, "Oh...sure." She answered with a stutter not really expecting to have some one tag along, "I agree...none of whats going on right now makes muhc sense..."
She stopped at the edge of the forest and looked back to the reamins of the crash site, "But...maybe whatever's on the other side of that fence will help figure some things out..." Danni continued on, more-so thinking out loud than trying to uphold an actual conversation.
"Though...I can tell...something doesn't feel quite right about it...why would such a place be here...on a deserted island..." Forgetting to keep the rest in though she finished it in subdued words to herself, just barely audible, "...what are they hiding in there..."

Ronalich was slightly suprised and confused. He didn't know he could enter somebody in the way he did, and he didn't learn anything other than that he could do that by doing it; there seemed to be some form of a barrier. And he didn't know what the screaming noise was, unless it was something that he opened the man up to, either by soul or mind...
"I don't know..." Michael said, looking downwards. "It might be dangerous. I have a feeling that there is somebody or something creating that pressure field. If it's someone, the field will die off from time to time, but a machine might not do such... But a machine probably could be short circuited by water. The problem would be if there's a wall around the machine. I wonder if condensed water would burst through a wall?"
Michael walked to a stump made by the man and felt around the top of it. "If we only had some more supplies to help us around here... We've found food, but we don't have something to carry water from that river back. A bowl of some sort wou--"
"FOR FERRETTY SAKE!" Michael shouted. A plant had just suddenly grown from the stump, and not just on it, but as a part of it, it seemed. The plant had grown big quickly, and the leaves on it were large and shaped slightly like a bowl... "What on Earth... That's just what I was thinking of!" He turned around to face Danni. "I was thinking a container would be useful and then this plant grew with these bowl shaped leaves! But I wonder, are they thick enough?"
He turned back around, and felt the leaves. They felt thick, but perhaps would burst with the weight of carrying water. He plucked two and put them together, and now they seemed thick enough to carry water. The problem is they would have to be held together... Perhaps the man who controlled metal would be able to make a needle!
Without thinking of the danger of it, he called out, "Hey, sir! Would you be able to make a needle from metal? It would help us out with getting things we need." He turned back around and walked to another stump, held his hand against it, and willed a strong thread-like moss to grow, and moss grew. "I can make plants grow from dead ones..." he said quietly, not realising he was speaking it aloud. he pulled an end of the moss and it pulled out of the stump. Once he thought he had a long enough 'thread' to sew the bowl-leaves together he tried to break the moss. Unfortunately the moss was too strong to be broken like that. He'd have to cut it somehow, and he didn't want to trouble the man with too much.
He then realised he used to use sticks and sharpen them on rocks; he could make a makeshift knife from a stick! He grabbed a nearby stick and looked for a rock. He found one just a bit into the forest, and started rubbing the stick against the rock one opposite ends, just those two ends. He was quickly able to sharpen it and tried to use it to cut the moss. Unfortunately, again, this failed. The sharpened end had too many splinters to effectively cut anything.

((I didn't take it offensively. It was more of a joking statement than anything. It's hard to offend me unless you know how to offend me.))
Korbaine walked into plain sight, knowing that he had been caught. However, since they needed his help, he knew that they wouldn't be bothered too much by his presence. He knew that he only had two choices for metal. He couldn't take metal from anywhere he couldn't see, and the plane was long since out of his line of sight. He pointed the gun at the ground, and fired. The bullet stopped in the air, and a sickening crack resounded throughout the area as his left wrist fractured.
Clearly, it had the same result as if he had tried to stop the bullet with his hand, short of the wound that would have occured. He had felt much worse wounds, and with nothing more than a grunt and a quick swing of his arm, it had cracked back into place. The pain was only mildly evident on his face, and he had the bullet that he needed now. It floated in the air, and then shattered as Korbaine tried to manipulate it. Several of the pieces came together to make a makeshift needle, and the rest made a paper-thin metal razor with a point sharp enough to pierce wood.
The two items fell down into his previously immobile hand, and he handed them to Michael with just a single response.
"Careful with these, as they'll break very easily."

Danni jumped at the sound of the gun going off, nearly falling over on to the soft forest floor. At the sight of the man cracking his injured wrist back into place, she couldn't help but wince. It gave her the chills. Danni had a weak stomach for things like that.
Shaking it off, she watched as the bullet formed a thin needle and he handed it over to Micheal, all the while keeping quiet, and only letting out a quiet sigh.
"They both can control something..." She glanced over a Micheal as he took the needle into his hand, "Water and plant life...and..." Then quickly over to the other man hoping he hadn't noticed, "metal..."
Her stoamch gave another stab as she remebered him cracking his wrist back into place, "...i can't do anything like that...." She muttered and looked back towards the fencing again. She decidely walked several steps closer ot it and held out her hands just a foot or so away from the fence- instantly she felt a strange electrical current that resided within it, like it was streaming through her blood line.
"Odd." She said to herself, then turned her back to it and walked back to the others resting her back on a tree and waiting.

Michael was suprised that the man had been so close. He hadn't expected that. The gun was shot, and Michael flinched by reaction, but the bullet stopped in mid-air. The man's wrist, however, seemed fractured by it. "Well, it seems he's only using his own body without using it," he thought. "I wonder if it's the same when i control water? But then, unless I tried to compact it... Or if it were ice."
Michael then saw the man snap his hand back into place, and was indifferent to that. "Not like something like that shouldn't be expected with everything going on." The man shattered the bullet and crafted from it a makeshift needle and razor.
"Careful with these," he said, "as they'll break very easily."
"Thanks," Michael responded. He carefully held the razor and cut the moss, then took a few seconds sticking the moss into the needle. Around the pair of leaf bowls he pierced a circle of holds to bind them together with the moss, once it was completely around, he pondered how to knot it. After about twenty seconds he shrugged. "Either of you two know a good way to knot something like this? The only knot I can knot is a shoe-lace knot." After pausing for a bit, he added "And I don't think I can make the plants knot themselves unless I know how to make the knot."

Korbaine sighed almost sarcastically as Michael asked how to tie a knot. In all honesty, he knew how to make nooses, and that was it. However, he knew of a solution the instant Michael asked. He looked at the needle, and tried to manipulate it again. It molded innward around the moss, and formed a small metallic orb, about the size of a normal knot.
"There. That's better than a knot."
Korbaine had been an assassin for a very long time, and he had a habit of noticing things that people didn't want him to. He knew that his presence made Danni nervous, and he didn't like it. He hadn't lied to Ronalich- If either of them attacked him out of fear, he'd kill them. But that was the only foreseeable circumstance under which he'd discharge his weapon at either of them.
"You, girl. I assure you that you have no reason to be worried by my presence. I am... rather eccentric, in most people's views, but I will not use this weapon against either of you. As for the wrist... well, just be thankful that it wasn't my arm. Pulling my arm back into place is a lot more sickening. If I had known that would happen, I would not have tried it. It may have seemed like I'm used to things like that, and in all honesty, I am. It's easier to let the the air instantly crack a bone back into place than it is to pull it back into place. Throwing my arm like that just makes it less painful.
"You do realize, Michael, that I could have easily made a bowl from metal. It's almost as though...you don't trust me..."

She looked up at him, as he brought her back from her thoughts. She couldn't help but feel a little peeved with his wording. But she dropped it, getting in an arguement with a man with a gun- not smart. Even if he say he wouldn't pull the trigger.
Danni simply nodded, "...um...my name's Danni." She added quietly, noy really expecting any sort of response from it; though she couldn't help but wonder if they'd ever find out his name.
"I'm going to...go circle this area. See if I see...or feel...anything..."
With that, she didn't wait for either ones' approval and headed off slowly following the perimteter of the fence.

"You do realize, Michael, that I could have easily made a bowl from metal," the man said. "It's almost as thought... You don't trust me."
Michael stared at the ground for a bit, then looked to the man and responded, "I didn't think of that possibility."
"I'm going to... go circle this area. See if I see... or feel... anything..." Danni muttered and took off.
"We-ll, by then for now, Danni," Michael said as she left. He then looked back to the man. "Well, if you want us to trust you, could you tell us your name? Or perhaps if you don't trust us, a false name or real-name like nickname."
Ronalich stepped out from behind a nearby tree, having materialized behind it to as to not startle anybody as much. "I'll follow the girl to make sure nothing should happen to her." With that, he dematerialized and left to follow Danni, though nobody was able to know what he was doing, only assume based on what he said.

"I can assure you, my name is only going to make your trust in me drop considerably. I am Korbaine Necro. It means, 'Shadowed Death,' or, 'Shadowed Dead.' It's odd, but my last name is ancient. My first name was given to me not as a joke, but more as a prophetic truth. As a bounty hunter, I work with stealth, not brute force. I could shoot a criminal down in the street, and I wouldn't get arrested, as long as they are wanted dead or alive. I just prefer not to disrupt people's lives too much.
"Do not mistake me for a vigilante, either. I hunt people that the police want dead. People that I can kill legally. I work through official and unofficial channels.
"Before I digress too far, I must tell you that you should consider yourself lucky. I haven't missed a shot in over three years. I'm an excellent marksman, and am rather... resiliant. I have been shot, cut, thrown off balconies, stabbed, burned, and have fractured over thirty bones more than once. I can stand enormous amounts of pain, because I'm used to it. Something like what just happened is nothing new. With that, I've fractured that wrist a total of four times.
"You have no obligation to trust me, and since I have not earned your trust, I'm not asking for it. But keep in mind that I have the same goal as everyone else stranded on this island. I want to get off, and get back to civilized society. I know how to live in places like this. You'd be amazed at the kind of places criminals will run to in order to avoid bounty hunters like me.
"Now, I'm going into that facility. If there is anything hostile in there, it will die. I don't care if they have automated machine gun turrets in there, plated with three thousand pounds of titanium armor. I will find some way to kill them. If they are not hostile, they will live. But judging by the circumstances under which we arrived on this rock, I assume that they won't be too happy to see us. Danni is going to head toward the fence. She muttered two words under her breath that gave away her intentions. I think she just found something that she's capable of controlling. You have water and nature. I have metal and possibly wind. And apparantly, she can control something as well. If she's going to the fence, this is likely the only chance we'll have to get inside the fence with everyone in a group. Something is wrong here. That bear that is rotting on that metal spike was just too... smart. I've never known animals to be sentient. And by all modern scientific knowledge, they shouldn't be."
Korbaine finished, and turned around, his unblinking eyes darting around constantly, as though expecting something to jump out at him. He still remembered that bear. Animals were feral. The bear...it was too smart to have been feral. He could sense that there was something different about it, but now that it was dead, he couldn't place it. He followed Danni's footprints, careful to walk at a fairly slow pace so that he would stay behind Danni until she stopped at the fence.

Once quite a distance away from the other two, she let out a sigh, turning and facing the fence again. She had felt something uncanny within it. Its energy force, it gave her a intensely burning, ominous feeling.
As before, she raised her hands up to the force field and closed her eyes. Wild images appeared in her mind, ones she couldn't even believe to explain...to the naked eye the energy appeared pretty much transparent...but with her eyes closed she could not only feel, but see its true form.
Her eyes opened slowly, and she wandered around it a couple more meters. But this time, just as shewas about to do as she did before, a flash of burning red light illuminateditself behind her eyes. Danni jumped and fell back on the ground.
"What...was that?" She asked herself, and ran her hands over her eyes- "...Ahh! What the-" She stuttered, as slowly her hands were becoming transparent as well.
"Stop..." She told herself mentally, and when she opened her eyes again, it was as though nothing had happened. Danni looked down at her trembling hands in shock, then slowly up to the barrier. She could still feel its strange, dark energy spiraling through her body.
