(*shares look with her actress friend who she told this to* Golf clap? Actress Friend: Golf clap. *both start golf clapping*)
Nudging her head under his chin so she gently bumped him, she said, "I'm fine. Leave me be for a moment and I'll get dressed, so we can go to the port." Mori was too excited to sleep now, anyway. That, and she wasn't sure she would be able to sleep without Jon beside her. There time together in the desert had spoiled her.

"Alright I need to go get some stuff from my room any way if we're headed to the port." Jon kissed Mori on the fore head before moving away from her with a certain bounce in his step whistling a small unknown tune as he went to his room to at least put on the belt that held his knife and enough gold to get what they were going for with a little extra just in case. After he foun d these he started to pull on his boots, seeing as he had been in such a rush that he was still bare foot.

Smiling happily, she watched him leave with amusement clear in her eyes. Once he had closed the door behind him, she pushed off her covers and swung her legs to the side. Mori had forgotten the funny feeling in them, and started to stand like normal. However, her limbs gave out underneath before she could stop them, sending her to the wooden floor hard. Whimpering slightly at the pain in her knees, she reached for her bedpost, using it to get herself on to her feet, though her legs shaked underneath her. It was with fumbling steps that she made it to her wardrobe, and she used her powers to bring the chair Jon had been using to her so she could sit beside it with a sigh.
Using her powers again, she pulled a clean skirt, leggings, and corset to her. She hesitated for a moment before being normal and picking a white shirt. The burgandy silk could wait till after they were married, when it was proper. Mori managed to get dressed with somewhat ease, and beckoned for her jewelry box. Taking out the silver hoop in her ear, she instead put in the garnet whose mate she already wore. Having suffered without Jon, even for such a short amount of time, she thought it unfair to break up any kind of pair anymore. Once again, she had to use her powers to bring her boots to her, but was able to put them on easy enough. She eyed her quiver with disgust, mostly directed at herself. It was easy to tell from here that every fletching and shaft was completely ruined. Her bow also had a split in it. It would take her days, if not weeks, to repair the damage.

Jon looked at himself in a mirror and grumbled a little bit. It took him a few moment but he managed to to straighten the hairs that had been misplaced as well as use his knife to take care of what ever shadow had come to his cheeks. It was then that he walked out of his room and locked the door before traveling down the hall and waiting patiently for Mori to come out of her room ready. He was comfortable at that moment now that he wasn't carrying so much excess weight that slowed him down and left his back sore. Instead his shoulder felt free and loose at this moment.

Waiting a moment longer to steel herself, Mori stood, finding that it wasn't as hard as it was before. She managed to reach the door with little effort, though she was forced to catch herself on the door frame. Making it to the port was going to be difficult, but she was too stuborn to give up yet. Opening her door with one hand, she took a deep breath before she tried to walk forward, seeing Jon waiting for her nearby. However, her legs weren't having any of it and grew weak just as she grew close to him, sending her falling forward towards the ground, a startled gasp leaving her as she prepared to catch herself.

Jon's reaction time was just fast enough. He caught Mori at her waist before she hit the ground and picked her up. He kept a hand around her waist to try and steady her so that she wouldn't fall again, "Are you sure that you're okay?" This little episode mad Jon wonder about just how well Mori was doing right now. "We can wait if we need to. I don't want you to get hurt."

She tilted her chin up stubbornly, even as she wrapped her arm around his waist as well to insure her balance. "I'll be fine," she assured him gently, able to stand on her own for right now. "My balance is a little off, that's all." Mori didn't want to worry him; she honestly felt that she would be okay once she was walking around for a little while. It wasn't like she could sleep at this point, anyway.

Jon didn't argue, to even try would be futile, "Alright well lets get over there then." He was ready for this right now and wanted to make sure that she got what she wanted. He kept his arm aroUnd her so that she wouldn't collapse again. He tried not to think about it or worry but he found that he couldn't help it.

Nodding in agreement, she kept her arm around his waist as well, finding it helped her to keep steady as she walked. The only time she paused was at the ladder to go downstairs. Making a face, she unwrapped her arm and squrimed out of his hold so that she could sit on the edge. Much like at Khris's cabin, when she pushed herself off the edge, her powers caught her and kept her on her feet at the bottom. Mori used a side of the ladder to stay standing as she waited on Jon to climb down, even as she mused over how much easier it was to control her powers recently.

Jon followed behind her though he preferred to use the ladder than to just jump off. Once at the bottom he wrapped his arm around her waist once again and started to lead her out of the quarters and along the path to he port. He was enjoying this time with Mori more now that they had everything laid out on the table and now that they knew where each other stood. Jon just found it hard to believe that this was the same girl he had taught how to hit the bulls eye in the training grounds.

Happy to let him lead her, she sighed softly and kept close to him. It was odd to think about how far the two of them had come in such a short amount of time. They had started off as teacher and student, and now they were engaged. Admittedly, there had been plenty of revelations on the road to this point, but none of them had been of a sort that they couldn't have gone without them. Now, she just had to keep her fears for the future at bay, and she could say without a doubt that she was the happiest member of the Striders.

Abel looked towards the Bridge inn, people were fleeing, a beast was attacking. "Someone's psychic energy is being depleted fast...I could help with that..." He said as he jumped from his bed and cast a psychic wave into the Guard's brain's, rendering them incapacitated. He bolted down until he found a table and jumped on top of it, levitating the table to carry him to the Inn.

Jon made it into the quarters with Mori in his arms. "Hold on tight." He whispered the words softly into her ear before slowly ascending the ladder to the hallway with the rooms with one hand. It was possibly a dumb idea but it was the only way he knew to climb with his arms full. When he reached the top he went straight to Mori's room and laid her on the bed putting the stuff on her desk. "There that's better isn't it?" His words were soft and delicate as he spoke. He really didn't want to make things worse for the poor girl.

Anlu had stuck close behind the man, whose name she did not know, all the way to what she assumed was their 'home'. The living quarters is what they called it, and it gave her somewhat of a military sense... perhaps that was the emotion she was feeling from the man... caution? It made sense... Going into the larger room, she stopped following the two from there, figuring where they went was supposed to be private. So she just walked around the main room, examining things on the walls and such. Eventually she plopped herself in a chair, grateful to be resting her legs after more than a week of travel...

Sighing softly in relief when she was set down on her own bed, Mori said with a smile, "Yes, thank you." The trip up the ladder had taken every ounce of trust she had. Unable to anchor herself to him, she had to trust him not to drop her. Admittedly, her powers would have caught her from a certain height, but still. It was nice to be able to trust someone that deeply. Reaching down, Mori tugged off her boots, mentally noting that she need to put her heels back on them, relieved that they were off. The heat she could feel through her leggings was the normal level, but still uncomfortable. She rolled over onto her side, propping her head up on her pillow. It was both more comfortable for her, and it helped her see him better.
