I don't have the money to do that! Well I have to sell my damn box, get an Aug letter, get my hair done (been saving up for that since last month), and then I will start on the uniform.

I have a wonderful girlfriend who bought me the uniform. So, with regards to C&T, how be the state of the forum? Are we actually making a difference or are our efforts all for naught. Also, maybe a quick little ASCII form could be made to be all official and effecient when dealing with duplicate posts. If the idea is supported, I'll volunteer to make version 0.1 of the form.

I think we are making a good impact in C&T, I atleast noticed since the time I have joined up C&T PD and really started paying attention to all the actions performed by us, I think we are actually cleaning up C&T for the better. biggrin

Well I've only got 127 gold so no uniform for me at the moment unless someone feels charitable. I'll get it eventually though. And I think we make a good impact simply because of watching PD members getting topics removed on a daily basis. If we weren't here, that'd be up to the mods and various responsible members, and the C&T would likely be a right hellhole.

We're getting a new insurgance of idjuts who think Mac V PC is a viable topic. Already Pmed a mod about removing three of them, today alone. sweatdrop

Already Pmed a mod about removing three of them, today alone. sweatdrop There was one I caught last night that started out as one of those "Come here and post your problems" threads dealing only with Windows, it was quickly hijacked into a linux support thread, then became a Mac/PC/Linux argument.... bah!

Thats called a Done To Death thread, usually get caught and removed quick. The other night someone posted on of those stupid "PM me with your problems and I will fix them for you myself" threads, someone PM'ed a mod before I did, that thread was gone within atleast 30 seconds, haha.

I prefer actually typed requests to official-looking documents, it give the pm a more human feel. Besides, most of the Mods are spending their valuable time moving/deleting/warning people, and they don't get much in return. The least we can do is to actually put some time, thought, and thanks into the pms we send them.

I didn't mean for the PMs to mods - they'd still get the typed requests; I was talking about for notifying the thread that it is violating a rule.
