Kitty was usually the still sleeper but she whined softly in her sleep their parents had pretty much given up on her half the reason they were sent to the school. they forked up the money but didn't care whatsoever about her to them she could be dead and the only difference it would cost less. but around Riley they acted like they still loved her so he didn't know and Kitty kept quiet. Kitty started to toss and turn in her sleep whining for her parents she was reliving the last blowout she had with them it had come down to physical violence. Ryley had been forced to go to school that day and Kitty had just come home from the hospital, she had lied and told him she had fallen trying to go to the kitchen by herself since she was so weak at the time he bought it. but now she was reliving it.

Riley heard her and kind of looked at her half asleep then quietly sat up in a sitting position and just kind of hugged her hoping that she would calm down. He had made it so that his ears would wake up to any kind of sound. When he was really little he used it so he could protect Kitty and himself from the 'monster' in the closet and after he found out there was no monster, he couldn't turn it off. Riley found it useful though. He had woke up to hear a bunch of fights his parents had, his sister being scared, and many other incidences like that. It was how he figured out nearly everything he knew about his family.

Kitty soon jerked awake screaming bloody murder sitting bolt upright shaking bad. feeling her brothers arms she immediately hid herself in them though she had quieted her body still shook with fear and the remembrance for the blows she had received that day and many days prior. "I'm sorry" she whispered to her brother sitting up after several minutes "i am supposed to be the one taking care of you not the other way around"

"No problem I think that's just the way it's meant to be Kitty. Besides I like it better when I take care of you than when you take care of me," He smiled slightly as he tried to comfort his sister.

"yeah...i guess..." she said softly hugging her knees a bit before getting up still very shaky as she moved to the computer booting it back up fidgeting a bit biting her nails trying to calm herself.

"im fine you need to rest some more do you want me to go get some cough syrup??" she asked softly worried about her brother. she hugged her legs tight to herself turning in the chair to look at him her head resting on her knees.

Kitty slowly nodded before turning back to her computer slipping headphones on hooking them up emo music blaring out of them she had become obsessed with this and country for some reason. she started to work on the document again about funeral arrangements and a will.

Riley slowly fell back asleep and yet again started moving about causing both his pillows to fall down, his hair get all messed up again, and him to be only half covered.

Kitty giggled at him slowly getting up covering him with the blankets again tucking him in slightly before returning to the computer where she spent most of the afternoon.

Kitty sighed watching her twin. she finally got up pulling on a sweat shirt then her twins old leather jacket over it pulling some socks and tennis shoes on before scribbling a note saying she went on a walk and had her cell if she was needed. she then slipped out of the room quietly and started to walk around the campus deep in thought.

Riley woke up to a bright computer. He kind of blinked, got up, and read the note to himself. Riley kind of rubbed his eyes then looked at the time and smiled. He picked up a coat and his bookbag. If he left now he could still make it before the first bell. Riley opened the door and sprinted past Kitty in the process," Bye Kitty going to class." He of course knew he'd have a horrible cough after running but did it anyway.

Kitty stood there shocked then glanced at her watch cussing before going back to her room grabbing her bag going to class where she spent most of her day in classes finally coming back to he room exhausted she was there before her twin so she laid down on the small couch in their room meaning to just lay their for a second but soon was fast asleep.
