Soren blinked. "Oh it's you... Somebody tried to blow you to pieces. Calm down or I'll concuss you. Things will be set soon enough. My brother is getting to the problem."
At that moment Doren ripped the camouflage blanket off of the attacker and picked up the individual at arms length.
Karen struggled in the stronger individuals grip. How had he found her? Not important, he was ruining her fun. The small girl struggled violently. "Let me go you big meanie!" she snapped as she tried to spin around uselessly.
Using the amazing speed of a master of the As the Wind style Doren returned to ground zero of the explosion, still holding tightly to his cargo. "This one was the source of the trouble." he said, not dropping her yet.

Kiko sniffed angrily but didn't respond but she would rather stay awake for a little longer, even if it was only long enough to kick some sense into her attacker. "That... kid, is the one that attacked me?"

A squirrel of the same texture and color as the bird ran up under Doren's clothing, latching hold of the inside of his shirt tightly. "Let her go, or you lose something too."

Doren reacted by swinging the struggling girl under his arm. "Ill advised." he stated cunningly. "If I let her go then there is no guarantee you will let me go. However, I do know that any explosion large enough to kill me outright will seriously injure if not kill the girl, and any explosion minor enough won't kill me either. So I think I'm holding onto her."
Karen stopped struggling finally, her soft blond hair dangling in front of her face in a very defeated and pathetic sort of way. "I'm sorry Aniki." she mumbled. "I was trying to have fun... but this guy... he's fast... and strong.... and there are two of him."

Several birds landed on Tsukiko. "And I am sure she can't survive either."

Masao blinked, things were getting confusing and complicated yet the entire scene was stuck inside Masao's head like a steel trap. "Sensei....are you okay?" He looked over at Soren.

Soren didn't answer. He was in a state livid enough to snap in a moment, but the training kicked in and calm set in. The minor hand signs were a blur and within less than a second the clay birds were attacked by electrical butterflies. He didn't know what the things were made of but his jutsu was adaptable and would be well suited to this situation, really he was hoping the electricity would harden the clay and render it useless since he had no fire jutsu to speak of.
"We're fine." Doren said glancing at their attacker. "These two have extremely strong ninjutsu but are of a much lower level than us."

Taro hopped out of the bushes and pointed at them. "Let my sister go." They had no idea how many of his clay bombs were in the area, nor did they know where they were. "I said let her go."

"And It's like my brother said." Soren brushed himself off from the earlier debris. "What guarantee do we have that you'll leave us alone if we let her go?"
Karen started beating at Dorens ribcage again. "Because I don't have any more explosives you big stupid head!" she screamed at him.

Taro glared at them. "There you go." He formed the rat hand sign. "The guarantee is yours to gamble with. If you do not let her go, you will regret it."

Kiko clenched her teeth, "You're really p*ssing me off! Kei! Kaoru!"
Kei looked up and sighed before leaping forward at the same time as his partner both landing on Kiko's shoulder and swatting the birds and butterflies away.
"I never liked birds in the first place!" Kaoru hissed.
The sky suddenly became dark and the image of the moon appeared, quickly decending on the field brightening everything with a blinding light rendering everyone's sight useless. And in that moment Kiko unshealthed one of the swords from her back and threw it in the direction of the new opponent that she knew was a threat to her and her host. The speed of the sword quickened, heading straight towards her target.

Taro stared at the maniac girl and fell to the ground three snakes curling around his arms as he cursed. "I warned you." Several large centipedes emerged and exploded, sending shock-waves through the ground as Taro jumped up. They were located on sensitive fault likes which started to make the earth crack like brittle ice. The three snakes flew at Kiko from the sky and exploded in midair, releasing thousands of smaller snakes, littering the area.
