He seemed to seize up, then relaxed, his voice changing drastically in tone from urgent to having the air of someone talking about the weather.
"Oh yeah, hello there Kabuto. I suppose I could negotiate with you. I actually had a little bit of a business proposition for His Lordship. You'll have to forgive me, I was a little... excited."

"The kind of business proposition that could give the Thunder Alliance the upper hand in the war, and the kind that would mean the entire rest of the Alliance would be putty in Orochimaru's hands."
He followed Kabuto, a smile appearing on his face. "And you needn't fear anything from me, though I understand the caution."

"A fact I am well aware of," he said politely, keeping stride with the other ninja. "I would not expect to have a private audience, in fact I counted on not having one."

The opening of the small door flooded the room with the first bright light in a few days. It was a moderately spaced area with three wooden tables in the center and counters lining the walls. The only visible source of light for the room appeared to be a thick yellow candle on the corner of the center table, now though it was barely down to a nub, the wax now pooling on the floor connected by a frozen waterfall. The counters were topped with many assortments of vile things a few of which seemed to move in the dim light from the candle and it was deathly obvious that atop each of the three tables was a body or pieces of three humans in varying states of decay. With all of this the most frightening thing was in front of the last table, facing away from the door.
The figure standing over the body of a mutilated young man didn't move at first; not even one of the long black hairs on his head seemed to shift. The very air in this room was stifling and it was plainly obvious that it was not from decay but that figure. Very slowly he moved, only the left arm at first, setting aside a sharp instrument on the table. The hand that had held it was deathly white, even more so than the corpse, and didn't look like it belonged to a shinobi; there were no obvious calluses or cuts that came from training or brawling, it looked more like the hand that would belong to a surgeon. The rest of the body turned slightly and finally the left eye came into view of the door. As the slitted eye gazed at the gap of light from the open door it seemed to fill the room, pushing everything out of its path with the pressure of its gaze.
"Kabuto..." The voice almost didn't seem like it came from the man, if indeed that's what he was. "You know better than to disturb me with my experiments. I'm sure you have a good reason for doing so or you'll be joining them."
This was Orochimaru.

Ganjou walked in passing the secretary ignoring her attempt to get his attention. "Orochimaru we need to talk now!"

Ganjou glared at the hiss "Maybe next time when we're not so pressed on time. There have been recent rumors arising of another war breaking. Whether or not you knew i wasn't sure but i want us to be clear that Kiri and Kumo are preparing for it. I suggest you post pone some of your new experiments and get your shinobi prepared. I have already spoken to the new Raikage and he is on his way to Iwa to make sure our neutral agreement stays in tact. I'm well aware you take what you need but for the time being take your materials from those within the fire alliance. Some of my men will probably want to stop by here for training. I'm here to be sure that those within the our alliance won't suddenly vanish while within your village."

Ganjou's eye twitched slightly as he glared "Understood" He turned around and began to leave "Next time you go vessel hunting try and not take your new host from my village. It's hard enough as it is to keep the genin alive long enough for a chuunin exam." On that note he exited the building vanishing from sight as he walked out into the street.

Amano cleared his throat. "Now then. 'Scuse me Orochimaru, but you just might want to listen to this."
He smiled, slicking his hair back slightly. "You've been doing the whole Curse Seal thing for what, a hundred years or so now? And always, correct me if I am wrong here, but you've always had a problem with the recipients of Curse Seals dying, corroding over time, and indeed, eventually dying of biological rejection, right?"
