((I noticed it a while too, but thought that I should mention it anyways! We also belong to different elements each))
"He could burn you," Haruhi pointed out, already feeling the strains from being close to him when he was in firehound form. She massaged her temples, not enjoying the headache she was receiving for her actions.

"It's all a circle with the three of us, no matter which way you go." Haruhi glanced at the seemingly sleeping Hurane. "He's probably a very smart child who's just afraid of his powers. I remembered that I strangled a dog with water before, since it growled at me."

Hurrane started to stir. "No! No!" was all he said, his dreams coming through to the surface. He began to tremble. "You can't make me!" He shouted then he suddenly awoke and looked around. He saw that he was being held by Haruhi and started sobbing uncontrollably.

Haruhi held him, although she tried her hardest not to look down at his crying face. She didn't want to hurt him with her water heritage, but it was hard to control it. Resisting the urge to give him to Hanne, she closed her eyes and tuned herself away from the sound of his crying.

After a while, Hurane stopped crying and looked up at Haruhi. "Why do you care so much?' He asked, his big and moist.

"Well," she said, finally looking down at his face and regretting it immediately. "I... I lost my brother a.... while ago," she explained, tears streaming down her face. "Plus, I would say that water is one of the most gentle elements next to air. It's in my nature." She tried to smile.

(*screams* I THIS COMPUTER!! However, I'll be able to use the school computers for another wonderful year.)
Hurrane looked down again. "I almost killed my family so they threw me out." He said almost crying again. "I want to try and control this thing but I can't."
(fire is a very uncontrollable element. It is also difficult to play a child without using big words and looking at a small child's point of veiw. Children are so much more accepting then older people.)

"Well, shouldn't it be easier for you to control it with Haruhi around? Since she's the opposite element??" Hanne didn't mention any of their losses, because he wasn't acquainted with it the way the two of them were.

Haruhi glanced at Hanne worriedly. "I'm not sure if that's the best thing," she said, thinking of the damage she could deal to the child. He looked very fragile to her, and she didn't want to put him in any pain.

"It'll work out." Hanne said trustingly, kneeling down next to the two of them. "Haruhi doesn't hurt people. She's supposed to heal. Even scary fire-users." Hanne told them with a smile.

Hurane looked at Haruhi. "Will you help me learn to use my fire?" He asked hopefully, his childish eyes boring into hers. The most convincing feature in his body.

Haruhi had to look away, since her eyes would have given away her lie. She still surprised herself by the ardor in which she lied, "Sure!"
