"Thank you Cedarstar, I wouldn't expect any less." He turned away and padded to the entrance to the den."I would just like to say that I don't want you blaming Miststar for any of this." With that he padded out to see Spottedpath, crying and unhappy."spottedpath," He mewed gently. She was one of his only friends. It would be hard to leave her."Spottedpath, I'm sorry, and thank you, you will always be in my heart." He meant all his words and it made him sad to leave, but he was happy that he was going to be wih Miststar now. As he got to the entrance of the clearing he looked over his shoulder and whispered a faint"Good bye" and padded out to meet Miststar, and his new life.

Spottedpath stood in the same place for a while. After a few minutes passed, she retired to her den. She knew that it would be difficult to cope with the loss of Runningleaf but she didn't care. She laid down and was soon asleep.
Summer awoke in the midst of the night. She wanted to explore the camp so she pushed herself up and limped around the camp to see what it looked like. It was similar to ThunderClan's camp. When she finished, she went back to Windy's den and laid down once again. She put her head on her paws and went asleep.

Blackpaw flicked his tail in anger and then walked to his nest with his tail dragging. Blakcpaw was mad and sad that he couldn't help his friend. Then he curled up and slept.

Spottedpath woke up in the bright dawn light. She pushed herself up and went outside the den and had to blink to flash a dream out of her mind. She padded over to the fresh-kill pile and took her usual mouse. She watched the empty camp. Where is everyone?
Summer blinked twice before rising. As she flexed her injured leg, she noticed Windy wasn't up yet. She padded outside and looked around. Only her sister was up. Soon, Summer was eating a mouse and laughing quietly with her sister, not wanting anyone to be in a bad mood.

Blackpaw streched awake and walked outside to she Summer and Spottedpath were laughing and talking. Blackpaw went over and found a mouse and grbbed it and brought it over to them. "Hey, can I join you two?"

Nightstep woke up from the best sleep in her life. She looked around and noticed there weren't too many there. She wanted to thank Runningleaf again for teaching her everything and being her mentor. She looked all throughout the den, but couldn't find him. He must have gotten up already. She walked outside to see Blackpaw Spottedpath, and that strange cat that came in before. They were all eating. She decided they might know where he is so she padded up."Do you guys know where Runningleaf is? Did he get up already? I want to say thank you to him." She was awkward because she wasn't used to confronting people about her questions. when she asked the question there faces dropped in disbeleif and greif. She had no idea why.

"Nightstep, he left to be with Miststar." Blackpaw said and put a tail on her flank for confort. He knew she would be upset her mentor was gone.

Nightstep took in the words but was not conscious of the kind gesture."H-he left? How could he leave? I just became a warrior. he can't leave. I have to be a warrior with him. I have to show him how well I can do." She was shaking now. She stared at her feet with a blank look, tears welling in her eyes.

Cedarstar walked over to where Nightstep was. "Love meant more to him. And you will prove yourself how well you are a warrior by showing him at Gatherings. I know he'll be proud. He won't forget you." he said, trying to comfort the young warrior.

Nightstep hardly heard Cedarstar. She just stared down at her feet. She did notice he talked though and turned her glassy gaze to him in a blank stare. her eyes betryed hurt and greif that she lost her friend. But she guessed love came before friends.

Spottedpath looked at Nightstep. "It's true." she mewed to the new warrior, understanding his pain, "I'll remember him, I'm sure we all will."
"You must be the leader of this clan, it's a plesure to meet you." Summer mewed, looking at Cederstar. She was well aware that her sister would have to explain who she was.

Tears coursed down her face as she thought about it. she sniffed and looked up choking down the tears."Is there anything you want me to do?" She asked trying unsuccessfully to talk with the warp of tears. Her gut twisted and loss beat in her heart. She was extremly sadened by the events of the day.

Cedarstar looked at the new cat with curiosity. "It's a pleasure to meet you too...." he replied in a calm voice, though was puzzled as to why a strange cat was among his clan members. He turned to Nightstep. " Why don't you go hunting with Spottedpath? Perhaps it would help you."

Spottedpath stood and went over to Nightstep. As she rested her tail on her shoulder she mewed, "It will be hard to cope with. Cederstar was first to find out and I found out before he left the camp. If you have to do something, preform it to the best of your abilities." She blunk back tears. It hurt to lose someone she knew from when she came to the clan.

"I was attacked by a fox out on the moor." Summer mewed, getting up and showing Cederstar her left hind leg, "I'm also Spottedpath's sister."
