Meishka stood up and put her hand to her forehead, rubbing back and forth slightly.

Shakily, Keiji rose to his feet, leaning heavily on the tree at his back, though his heart told him not to. He would just make a fool of himself as he always had. Though this was, after all, the easiest way to prove to her that he was in fact useless and not worth her time. Keiji braced himself against the tree and hoped when he opened his tear-drenched eyes to look past his stringy hair that the girl would have left.

Head still down, Keiji plodded a few steps from the tree, nearly tripping over a root in the process. "S-see?!"
Glimpsing her stance and stubborn face, he stopped a few paces from her and imitated her stance unenthusiastically.

Quickly Meishka dropped down and kicked his legs out from under him. Meishka got back up and sighed.
You not doing it right Masa.
She looked a bit sad.
I want to help Keiji.... Meishka lapsed in formality and said his first name.

Lying on his back, Keiji looked up at Meishka. Seeing how upset Meishka was getting made his heart break. Here was someone finally willing to help him and be friends with him, and all he could do was push her away and refuse her help...

It's fine Masa. Meishka used to it. She started to walk away down a beaten path. a little ways down she stopped infront of a tree and punched it as hard as she could. Bark went flying. She did this over and over again til her fist was raw. Then she leaned her forehead against the tree and traced a rune upon it.

Feeling rather confused and guilty, Keiji rose to his feet, using a nearby tree for balance and made his way to Meishka. "M-meishka? A-a-are you alright?"

Meishkas eyes were closed but she opened one to look at him. She was upset but his problems were worse than hers. She cursed herself for her moment of self pity. What did it matter that she had no friends. That no on wanted her help. She had already committed to trying to help him and whether he wanted it or not he was going to get it. Her honor wouldn't let her not help him. She sighed a deep sigh and stood up straight. Tracing yet another rune on top of the other on the tree for good growth and health, she placed a protection rune. Poor tree, she hadn't meant to hurt it. Sighing again she looked at Keiji. what to do about him.
Does Masa want to learn how to fight or not?

Worried, Keiji repeated his question, "A-are you alright?" He wished he knew what to do to make her feel better, but he had never had a friend, so he didn't know how to help...

No Meishka not alright, but that is beside point and not matter.
She looked away from his face and focused on the tree.

Instinctively, Keiji reached out his hand and touched her shoulder gently, "Wh-what's wrong Meishka? C-can I help?" He took a step closer, but his foot caught on a root and he fell, grabbing her.

Caught off guard, Meishka started to flail her arms trying to regain balance but ended up falling. In the process her hair came undone and Keiji landed on her.
Oof. Ok Masa. Meishka grunted under his slight frame. Meishka was surprised he weighed anything but he was kinda heavy. Meishka has to teach Masa balance.
