Abrupt and unpleasant as were the refusals of either Turk specimen, Trellon had indeed calculated that such a possibility did in fact exist. This was, not at all an end to their integrated training course, though perhaps more accurately an end to a means, by and by. Results, however, were demanded, and should such not be given—with fullest resolve and efficiency—to Hojo, his benefactor and leader, there would be no purpose in his placement within the renewed beast of old that was AVALANCHE throughout the years. Perhaps shifted in form, its intentions were still rigidly similar to that of its firstborn entity.
Yet, point was made. Trellon was the supporting tool, a man that had proven himself able to procure results—desired results—on a flatly steady basis of 99% of the time. The occasional failures arose, yet were not withal unpleasant an opportunity. Such failures lead to far more extravagant testing, the surge towards a new means to produce a favorable effect. In the end, in such a manner, a great arsenal of means and tools were built up, and those who drove them ever to expand—the miserable failures eventually disposed of, in one way or another—were but again a means to a most surprisingly favorable an end. With every failure, the problems that next arose were dealt with far more swiftly, results garnished in higher multitudes, and Trellon’s ability to nigh on flawlessly produce what was asked of him only ever increased in potential and repertoire.
This, was why his notes were completed in silence, even though Hojo had clearly instilled a need for his services when two such means to an end were crushed. It was all mere technicality regardless. The running through of a necessary script. Should lesser means not drive Turk specimens A233 and B238, Trellon would present the harsher options and undoubtedly procure results. It was his purpose.
“It is not the progress that has been made on which I should comment, sir,” came the monotonous response at last, little attention now paid the specimens obstinately refusing to comply with their demands. Trellon’s gaze turned upon the renowned scientist at his side, lost in deep thought, eyes settled staunchly upon the male and female in the room ahead. “Rather, the ability which Turk specimens A233 and B238 have to retain their previous personalities is leading me to conclude that they no longer deserve to be treated with the respect and patience already given them in questionable means. It has only resulted in the swift degradation of their self-concept, but not the deterioration of their personalities on a whole. Such, is objectively one of the most concerning difficulties we have insofar faced with them.
“Therefore, I suggest we treat them no longer as humanely as we previously have.”
A steady pause, afore gaze turned once more upon the two within the testing room. Trellon allowed the silence, gave Hojo the time to deliberate on his suggestion, before continuing with what mild alternatives he had in mind.
“Throw them in with the wilder, more pack-oriented Ravens. Let them be ravaged and, if they see it fit, slaughtered because they refuse to fight. If they die, then they truly are not worthy of the time and efforts devoted to Ravenizing them. If they fight, however, we can work with them yet.” Silently Trellon glanced over his notes, duly musing aloud for Hojo, proffering options that the scientist would no doubt leap at and manipulate to suit his purposes, as he was wont to. Trellon, of course, had absolutely no concern with how his methods were used. He was highly bought, undoubtedly, but bought he was nonetheless.
“In addition to this test of worth, by allowing them to run with already well established Ravens in their daily routines, training, exercises and drills, it will create subconsciously in specimens A233 and B238 the like-mindedness that will lower their defenses. Through long exposure to Raven ways, they will drop their guard and take on their habits, traits, and eventually what results we have been ceaselessly attempting to produce will have been achieved without such a blatant waste of resources on them.”
And with such said, Trellon fell into silence, allowing the quietude of the room to go on until Hojo either shot down his idea or gave him his approval. Yet, the scientist might seek immediate results, and should that be the case, it was always possible to get a pack of Ravens at this very hour and set them upon the two within the testing room. Either way, Trellon would stand by his assessment. Out of all the options that had come to mind, the one he had given Hojo was by far the most efficient and likely to procure results. It was, by now, but Hojo’s decision.

Accomplishments are transient._____________________________ They pulled me in unremittingly_________________________________________ ______________My mind's not a well; _____________________It won't run dry Hojo watched Trellon, as he explained his standing on such a matter. And in turn he agreed with his secondary in command. Why as such, Hojo placed him there. Gently he tapped his pen among the notebooks surface before he vigorously began to scribble upon its pages once more. Indeed, if Trellon's suggestive idea was in turn carried through, Hojo would stand a better chance of receiving the results he ever so craved with Turk B238. In all honesty he cared not the fate of A233, although there was a slim margin of a chance he would prove to be useful in some form or another. At this very moment he was no more than an annoyance.
Hojo began to calculate the possibilities of B238 attaining her highest and utmost form, though they were still lower than he would have liked to have seen, there was still the slim margin. Turning from his notes and back toward the microphone he looked down upon them before keying it once more.
"Very well." He began, a wry smile crossing his pale and sickening features. "If you shall act like insubordinent animals, such is how you shall be treated."
Turning back toward Trellon he then nodded, "Bring the Ravens, and let the bloodshed commence. If they survive, then perhaps they will be worth further study as you said. If not, we shall merely move on."
It was with that he made way back to the rear of the observation room, as the Ravens were called. Hojo was flipping through the last notes he had taken on LR-002, debating on the route best to take with his prized specimen. Indeed, if this series of increased dosage had worked, accelerated the end result .. perhaps they could double or even triple the dosages once more. Oh how he yearned to unleash her upon the world itself, alas she was still not ready. Which in turn caused her creator much grief. Yet, good things come in time. Excellence is not something that can merely be achieved overnight.

“I will return momentarily.”
Swiftly did Trellon depart then, leaving his superior to his thoughts, and denoting to Deuce in passing that he was to remain with Hojo should he request any further assistance. A group of Ravens was hardly a challenge to deal with for such a man as had cultured them and—in part—developed the routines and finer detail work of their existence.
The Ravens themselves held a great many benefits that the inferior ranks of Shin-Ra’s Turks and even SOLDIER members could not match up against. Yet it was ever the reincarnation of that age-old entity—AVALANCHE—that, once thrust upon Trellon’s doorstep, an open invitation to opportunity beyond many other measures, he had taken and aided in reforming. Ravens, therefore, were just as multifaceted as once they had been, over ten years prior when they’d first been created by a man—now deceased—named Fuhito.
Dredging up his past works, having been stowed away and survived still the passage of time with the seemingly unquenchable life of Hojo, the Ravens had been reborn and put to far better a use. The elimination of the frail tail ends of what was once the most feared company in existence—the Shin-Ra—was but the beginning of the painting insofar revealed. Even then, none knew that AVALANCHE had resurfaced. What mild mockery of their old purpose the blonde man, the hero—Cloud Strife—had made of such a name not a few years prior was nothing in comparison to the true intentions of AVALANCHE before his time, and now, again after his time.
As before, Ravens experienced endless—truly nonstop—lives of training, preparation, falling to their knees willingly to fulfill the service they had been cultured to oblige at the requests of their masters—the higher members of AVALANCHE. There were differentiations between their uses, however. Many were trained in packs, no different than the clever predators that ruled any terrain. They could and effortlessly did shrug off normally fatal wounds and surged forth to overcome their enemies, carrying out their intended tasks with a cruel, merciless intensity—truly flawless, beyond the capabilities of any normal human being, and easily surpassing that of Shin-Ra’s fickle warriors. Others still, though far fewer in number, were arranged in pairs of two—and these had uses that ranged from covert assassination to infiltration where none else could find a foothold.
It was for the former grouping, however, that Trellon went for. It was not a long walk, and took mere minutes to arrive at the location of the Ravens’ housings, should such be able to be called that. The beings lived more like wild animals than did the pampered pets of the day. He took a selection from one of the farthest cells. These had been some of their more cunning and vicious Ravens. The group of six worked together like wind and rain, effortlessly—and were by far the most brutal. Though they were not by any means the best group of Ravens Trellon could have chosen, their ability to maneuver violence to serve their single purpose with hands alone was incredible. They needed no weapons. They made use of themselves and their surroundings like chameleons depended on their camouflage to survive. Such was their way. And these, then, would wreck the most damage in the given environment.
The door opened, and within glancing up to detect whether the man at the doorway was friend of foe, soon all six fell to the earth in silent acknowledgement of Trellon’s superiority as was the custom response garnished from all Ravens. “Up, and follow me.”
Swiftly then, Trellon turned and the Ravens obediently dropped fighting, the wasting of their abundant stamina and trailed easily after the scientist. As they walked, Trellon remained silent, up until the doorway into the impromptu battlefield was reached. There he turned and addressed them as a single entity, knowing they would be such on the field as well as they were before him in this moment.
“Your task is simple. Within the room you will soon file into are two specimens—one human in nature, and the other human by birth, but consumed by four limit breaks akin to powerful fiends. Your orders are to kill both while keeping their bodies relatively intact. You will have a time span of five minutes to procure any initial response of countermeasures on either of their parts. If they do not fight and seem willingly to give in to death by your hands, then at the end of the time period established, you will kill the suicidal.
“Fight until you are ordered to desist by either myself or the Master First that will be looking on with me.”
Quickly then Trellon turned and carried out the procedures to unlock the door, opening it swiftly for the Raven pack. “Begin immediately,” he ordered, and the Ravens swept into the room without needing further goading, instantly setting to the task of rendering the Turk specimens A233 and B238 nothing more than mere lifeless puppets.
Silently Trellon shut the door, ignoring the feral outcries that were suddenly stifled by the locking of the door into place. He made his way swiftly then into the observation room and bowed his head slightly in respect to Hojo’s orders. “They have begun, sir.”

"Six on Two...? You're joking...I've taken on larger groups than this by myself..."Arina sounded a little miffed as the Ravens rushed into the room, but only for a moment...it was then she realized, they were fast....very fast...They moved more like a collective of wolves than a handful of humans. Instantly her body tensed, sensing the threat that came with the entrance of these new figures...She didn't fear them yet, for speed alone wasn't quite enough to shake her, but something in her knew better than to trust that to be their only talent. She watched carefully for any sign of movement as the six of them fanned themselves out, encircling the two with a wide margin between each Raven.
"A233, be careful..."She glanced over at him, wanting to make sure he wasn't still allowing himself to just lay on the floor...After what the man on the speaker said...She assumed this wasn't going to be entirely easy. She made to shuffle herself closer to him, knowing that both their odds were better if their backs were guarded, but even before she got close, one of the two females in the pack had darted out, and kicked her in the chest, sending her skidding back past A233, and right into another Raven's awaiting arms.
He picked her up off the ground at once, as if hugging her from behind, only to constrict his arms around her body. "Let...Go...!"She managed to choke out, feeling something in her chest pop, or possibly snap...it was a tough call...but it didn't feel like whatever it was had punctured anything...She tried to force his arms open, with little to come of it. Instead, she managed to grip his forearms, and push straight up more quickly than he had time to adjust for the size difference, and her body slipped free of his grasp. As soon as she hit the ground, she pushed off, springing herself away from the bear-like man...
She was closer to A233 now than she had been when they started, but farther to the left as well. One of the more slender males suddenly stood next to her, while Arina hadn't even seen him move. In an instant he had her pinned to the ground, wrenching her arms behind her back while sitting on her, and slammed her head into the floor as if it were the easiest thing in the world. He continued to press down on the side of her head, grinding her right temple directly into the surface beneath them, almost as though waiting for her to move, to give him some little cause to to snap her neck without a second thought.
What he probably hadn't counted on was the blood...Hot blood spilled out of the abrasions on her temple, trickling onto the floor beneath her head quickly...The smell...that salty, hot smell...something like...rust...but...better...One of her arms twisted in a way it wasn't meant to go, allowing her to essentially uppercut the Raven on top of her. This seemed to surprise him, as the blow actually made contact. While the force sent him back a bit, it allowed her to regain use of her arms, and therefore to push herself up, and free herself of the slightly bleeding man.
Arina smiled a little, as a few drops of crimson leaked from somewhere around his jaw...It hadn't been a very clean hit, but strong enough...it was almost in slow motion that she saw the few droplets hit the floor, splattering in delightful little red pools...She shook her head, realizing now was not the time to get distracted...he had already gotten back to his feet, and was assessing the situation silently with his comrades...She couldn't afford to think of anything but the six of them right now...however, something in her quivered, longing to come to the surface...Already she knew these were not ordinary humans...so the through struck her: if it wanted to come out...Why not let it?

Reno Reno continued to lie on the floor while Hojo and Trellon talked amongst themselves and then through the speaker. He thought it was all rather humorous. Honestly! He had a broken arm and was still recovering from his beating from Hyou, however long ago that was... Not that he could remember any of it. He just knew that his body really hurt. And that he was starving. And that something strange was going on.
The red head pushed himself up slightly, his head feeling hazy. He felt incredibly uncoordinated when the doors opened, revealing Ravens. He had never seen them before, but they had some sort of familiarity to them. He found himself getting to his feet, not exactly against his will, but not with it, either. He scowled at them as they ran in. He didn't even notice what was going on with Arina, even as she spoke to him. He couldn't see her, hear her; he definitely didn't care about her. Everything he had been thinking earlier had been swiped clean. All he wanted to do now was survive...because these were obviously threatening. The pain in his arm soothed down to a dull throb, until he ignored it altogether like the woman who was assuming he would watch her back.
One of the male Ravens was coming at him, but he was too slow. It wasn't that Reno was so fast; it was that this Raven was probably the weak link. At least, that's how he saw it. How A233 saw it. He watched as it swung its fist at him, but instead of avoiding the blow, he swung his fist into the Raven's face just as it hit him in the cheek. Reno spit on the ground as the Raven held his ground. He wished for a moment that he could use his left arm so he could punch him some more, but just as he was about to give him a roundhouse kick to the face, another Raven hit him in the back of his head, knocking the red head onto the floor.
The momentary adrenaline vanished as he hit the floor and Reno bit his bottom lip, wondering what in the ******** he was doing there on the floor and why everything hurt again. He got a kick in the ribs and his forehead felt like someone was hitting him with a brick over and over again. He didn't have time to think or to get up now that he was on the ground.
[This was probably confusing. coz' I used a lot of 'he's'. Since the Raven doesn't have a name. >.> imo this post sucks balls. i sorry. <3]I'm in the same prison as you...

Accomplishments are transient._____________________________ They pulled me in unremittingly_________________________________________ ______________My mind's not a well; _____________________It won't run dry As he awaited the return of Trellon, Hojo remained stationary in front of the observation window. From this stand point, he could easily observe any changes that may perhaps take place below. Oh how he desired for both A233 as well as B238 to advance forward and complete their Ravenization process. Yet, in the same sense he enjoyed the will of the 'Stallion' o to say; as he attempted to break away their spirits little by little. Many would consider such a process sickening, as well as inhumane. Hojo merely saw it as an every day task. Taking joy as he went. In fact, to truly create the perfect being you in turn have to bring out the monster within. Only then will you harness its power, allowing perfection to fall perfectly in place.
It was soon thereafter, as Hojo found himself lost in thought that Trellon drected the six agile men as well as women ino the room. The orders were clear as day. They were to attack, until otherwise instructed. Hojo let a sly grin cross his ever malicious features. Perhaps, the will to survive will truly break through. The animal within shall attempt to survive. Or even that will be the only choice left, and instinct shall render them under my control.. He could not help but to rub his hands together, as a child would on christmas day. Merely showing his utmost glee as the battle of the sheep among wolves commenced.
B238 immediately showed a promising start as she began to fight back. There was no hesitation, no second thoughts. Yet, sadly Hojo took note of her weakened state. He had indeed hoped for something perhaps more promising, but he had yet to take into consideration a few minor details. Or perhaps hehad, but merely pushed them to the back of his mind.
Now A233 provided quiet the shock to the madman as well perhaps to his counterparts within the observation room. He had hardly foreseen A233 attempting, much less following through with any course of action. The scientist's features perked as the specimen aggressively took on multiple Ravens, only to be knocked down once more. Quickly he scrbbled upon his papers before turning to Trellon. "Trellon." He began in nearly a musical tone. "Do you have any insight upon the situation? Suggestions perhaps?" He returned his gaze back to the battle below while awaiting Trellon's response, now gently tapping his gold pen atop the clipboard. It seemed though, as if B238 was showing higher signs of violence, or aggression perhaps. As if she was allowing, rather than resisting her limits. With inhuman strength she managed to fend off not one but multiple Raven's. Hojo beamed down. "Now this will be promising." He murmured, crossing his arms intent now upon specimen B238.

After the breief amouint of time tht it took the man to confer with the others, he sprang again. This time however, Arina was not caught off guard; she had expected the group to divide more or less evenly to attack herself and A233...The three who had already attacked her, in other words, were the ones she had to worry about first.
The Raven got close to her almost at once, clearly about to continue the fight. As opposed to what was expected of her, Arina turned her broken ribs toward the oncoming assault. When his fist first made contact, there was another crunching sound mixed into the flare of white hot pain that seeped into Arina's vision...Apparently, he had broken another rib as well...Oh well, all the better for her. The ex-Turk turned her other damaged side forward now, allowing him to strike twice there...More of the white pain seared its way across her sight...This was getting aggravating...She could barely see past the white spots that came with his punches now...
Finally he decided to vary his pattern a little, seemingly wanting to return the particular strike she had inflicted on him; his fist connected with the underside of her jaw, and Arina made no move at all to stop him. She felt her feet leave the floor as she fell backwards, waiting for the sharp pain that would undoubtedly hit her more completely once she hit the ground...Of course, neither of those events had a chance to happen.
At once, her left hand extended toward the floor, stopping her decent completely. She eased her feet to the ground quickly, but very deliberately, their contact making no more sound than they would if they had been feathers. Something about her changed in that moment, her skin paling at a visible rate...her eyes seemed to have some life behind them again as the irises changed color...Her hair seemed healthier at once, almost like she hadn't been locked in that cell for god knows how long...those were without even the Raven's knowledge of her healing injuries...No more did she sport even one broken rib, and the new injury to her jaw was as though it had never happened. The usual battery of aches and pains she felt stuck with her always from the continual testing seemed to just vanish, as if they had never been...The golden band melted away into her arm quietly, as her gold and silver Rapier took its usual place in her right hand. However, she stabbed it into the floor for the moment; she wouldn't need it right away...Her outfit did not change however, a strong indication of an incomplete limit break...
In a quick sweep of her almost silent feet, she was standing again, and in another instant, the thin Raven was pinned with his stomach against a wall. "Be a good boy, and hold still for me..."Her voice was soft this time, not like it had been when last the third limit came to the surface...This time, she wasn't scared. She wasn't tied down. And there wasn't any damned dog whistle to hurt her ears...
She leaned her head to the left, placing it onto his left shoulder as he struggled to get loose. Her long hair obscured all her features just for a moment, until she moved away from him like a ghost. The Raven slumped to the floor, pale and shaking, two tiny crimson circles just barely dripping inside his collar bone, where his shoulder met his neck...He was too weak now even to raise his hand to his neck to feel the damage.
Suddenly there really was the thump of a body hitting the floor; The female who had kicked Arina was pinned down on her stomach, with the Vampire sitting on her back; one foot rested (or so it appeared) on the Raven's neck, while the other was left to the floor. "That was nice...But lets see how you taste..." She pulled one of the struggling woman's arms up to her lips, and there was a small sound as though she had bitten into a tomato. This time the change was obvious as the woman on the floor struggled less and less with every passing instant, until it was all she could do to breathe...That was when the limit turned her eyes to the big male.
He snarled at her, having watched two of his pack go down before he realized what was happening...He did not want to let that happen again, but this creature in front of him was strange...Not something they had been taught to fight. The limit eyed him with a sure and confident smile...already, she looked healthier than she had at the beginning of the change...Better fed, to say the least.
This time, she pulled the rapier out of the ground where it still held upright, before disappearing with nothing more than a glimpse of gold and silver light reflecting from her blade. She appeared behind him, with the blade's forte lightly pressed against the skin of his throat; a small movement would allow her to slit his throat without more than minimal effort...To this Raven she did not speak, but simply placed her lips upon his neck, as though kissing him...His complexion faded to an almost pure white color, and his eyes slid out of focus as his knees trembled, then buckled. The Vampire moved her blade just in time for him to fall forward, slipping off her fangs, and not slit his throat...No, they were going to bleed out from their bites...She hadn't left them with enough blood for even a Raven to survive long...But they didn't deserve the quick death she usually gave those she drained...Anyone with this organization was going to suffer pain...long, excruciating deaths. That was her goal...
Her eyes turned then to the other four heartbeats in the room; that was all she saw them as. A group of circulatory systems for her to snack on...They may as well have been juice boxes. She scanned them, trying to decide which of them to sample next.

Accomplishments are transient._____________________________ They pulled me in unremittingly_________________________________________ ______________My mind's not a well; _____________________It won't run dry Blackness. Swirling about, a cloud of utter confusion. Oh how sh hated this part. It had perhaps happened prior to this. Yet, this incidence of incapacitation was by far the worse. Gentle is the han that reaches so cautiously above. Grazing the sweat ridden skin that was her own. Focus had yet to be achieved, as her eyes fluttered in attempt to adjust to the light. So odd. Surprisingly Trellon had yet to turn off the light within her residential room. Normally, ut of common courtesy he would do so, seeing as the serum usually left a horrid headache. Perhaps his attentions were taken elsewhere. Oh well. Reaching down toward her feet she gripped her fingertips around the soft woolen blanket pulling it over her body. LR-002 felt so odd, so very cold; yet she was sweating horribly. Her eyes were still in attempt to adjust to the light beaming down upon her, the darkness at last fading away.
LR-002 blinked a few times before turning her head toward the door. Her body remained stationary as she did so. LR-002's muscles ached and protested their pain from the testing prior. How she found herself convulsing against her own will was indeed an intolerable experience. As she ran her thumb across her fingertips, LR-002 could feel the wooden splinters from the prior injection. They were rather painful as he grazed across them gently, and was rather hesitant to remove them for the fear of greater pain.
Alas, she sat herself upright rather slowly to say the least so that perhaps she could gain a better view on the task at hand. A curtain of platinum hair fell gently across her shoulders, cascading down past her mid back as she did sit upright. Carefully she began to tug at the small wooden shards as she winced in pain. After a few un-successful tries. Se decided to merely give up ad await Trellon's return. At least he would have the proper tools to remove the shards. So in turn LR-002 found herself lying back down upon the semi-cushioned bed that was her own. Puling te blanket tightly around her as she did so. Oh, how she hoped that she would be rewarded for, so to sa, a job well done. Perhaps they would alow her to walk the halls, or even peer from a window. LR-002 had yet to see the outside in her voluntary time with Hojo and Trellon. Alas, she could vaguely remember the beauty the outside world held.
LR-002 then decided to merely close her eye's and allow herself to drift away. Perhaps this horrid headache will dissapate with some rest. __________________________________WISDOM IS KNOWNG WHAT TO DO NEXT_____________________________________________skill is knowing how to do it,________________________________________and +virtue+ is doing it.

In other realms, under alternate rulings, intrusions would be met with violent refutation. Arrogance was ever easily crushed and brought to dismay. Without such then, did one present themselves, so that what might seem as blatant usurpation of authority was in fact a brave, if forward move on the part of softer spoken men. In such a manner did now Trellon beseech the intense attentions of his superior, bothering not to ask forgiveness upon his intrusion into the professor's thoughts at the display performed with utmost and frightening beauty below. Trellon had not spoken for quite the long time, in fact. Time enough to allow Hojo his adoration and intrigue upon the specimen Turk B238's part.
Her limit breaks were diverse and keen, yet with such intricacy as had been mannered, woven insights that would far from go unnoticed to the man who had years prior set the first stitching, there was ever a flaw in each. Trellon himself did not have to idle in the dingy mucosa that was presumptuous thought to know such. It was common--in fact, universal--knowledge. And far from knowledge's facile nature, it shed such lengthy dissertations as accompanied human divisions, and rooted itself in fact. While less flawed than her predecessor, Turk specimen B238 was, nevertheless, flawed. Perhaps even more so and far more dangerously to her own existence than in the ways that seemed most apparent. Regardless, upon such studious consistency did Trellon intrude, casting aside concern for retributions. To disturb the renowned "Master First" of the refurbished AVALANCHE was commonplace for him, and, in fact, he had obtained and maintained his position within Hojo's trusts partially due to his openness and casually, eloquent outspoken nature.
It was, nevertheless, curious to note the decision on his superior's part. Why allow the death of the inferior? Trellon had all but repeated such to the professor upon which he now gazed. He had even seemed to agree without care nor concern to suggest any interest otherwise in the potential demise of the specimens. Under all circumstances, then, the Turk specimen A233 should and would perish before the next quarter hour was reached. Then, why the lothing to allow such a specimen to perish, when in fact more were available to their wills?
Slim, yet present as would be a black strand in the mane of sunlight blonde, was the crack that had broken out, into sight. And yet, Trellon would say nothing of it. Such would be left for another time altogether, if at all.
Fleetingly, suggestions had come to mind and been just as swiftly discarded. Promise, alone, was held in one option to them. "Cruze will present us with the solution. Allow me an eminent return, and I will have for you the answer."

It was not long before Trellon had returned, and in formal notion of his idle usurpation of authority, he now inclined his head and turned gaze upon the beasts that fought under their wills. "It is done. Within a few minutes you shall have your results, professor."

He pushed in his chair, and strode from the dark room, taking the path toward the girl's room before she went to retrieve the Raven. He touched the control panel to enter the room, and proceeded to turn down the lights from the outside using his own access code...Hopefully, Trellon would try to claim credit; Cruze would love to see him caught in that lie...
As soon as that was done, he continued onward to the cells where the Ravens were held...Touscon had been stored in a single down her, simply for convenience's sake...He opened the door, and stood there, leaning against the frame; even if she were to spring and attack, he had no doubt in his mind that she could be made to stop...Fortunately, her obedience training had at least gotten the code word down packed again...
"Raven Touscon. Stand and follow me,"He didn't wait for a response before he started walking away...He listened vaguely, and could hear her footsteps behind him...That was all he needed. He continued back along the way to the testing room, and waited until Touscon was inside, sealing it shut again behind her before opening the next door into the actual testing room.
In moments more, he was entering the viewing room as the mechanical Raven inside dropped to his knees again; Cruze ignored him. "My apologies for the delay, Leader...It seems Trellon here has been overloaded with work lately...I had to take care of one of his....Slip ups." Cruze's eyes didn't turn to the scientist for a moment, and his face remained straight as he continued, "I noticed that the lights had been left on in LR-002's unit, and moved to correct the issue...Apparently he was in too much of a rush to continue tending to the subject..." That was when his eyes, but not his head, finally turned to Trellon, "...lets hope nothing else was forgotten in his haste..." With that, his eyes moved back down into the scene in the room below.

It had all been ineffective. Months of reformation she had endured, with punishment coupling the brutal, endless training sessions that raged all too clearly of stale beginnings. Some time ago—though none of them counted the years—she had been born in such a manner. Her baptism not of fire, but of searing white heat and blood. They had all been born that way.
Some took it better than others. Presumably, some worse. Yet, by and by, they that did not perish surged to life—overcame blood by becoming its caterers. They did not fail, could not die—yet also could not live. Such wonders, such thoughts of ‘living’ and of ‘life,’ however, crossed not their minds. They were each the children of their selective breeding regimen, and the parents and upholders of its… traditions. They were bred without flaws—human machines—incapable of the humored, pitiful mistakes made so often by their ancestors—the inferior breed they’d been plucked from and made invincible and superior to! Those who did not perish in the making. It all returned to the same place, regardless their shapes, sizes, colorations, strengths or inabilities. They had all been born of blood, and destruction.
To this she had now fallen. Death, they had told her when she had returned to her birthplace, the underground headquarters of the timeless and irrefutable AVALANCHE—the true AVALANCHE for which she had sold her soul. In these chambers, halls, laboratories, training facilities and elsewhere pertaining to such an exclusive compound, she had been tortured and was being reborn.
Else… she should have been. And before such, she should have been slaughtered by the sapling fiends—the Ravens newly born and enduring training—her flesh, her blood, the baptism they would need. Yet queer had been the words and orders of the Masters who had said in essence, ‘Let her live. We may have further use for her.’ And through such, she was denied her honorable death, and thrust wayward and vehemently into the throng of her kin, to relive once more the endless routines that were not routines, and life that was far indeed from life. In such a manner, she had been preserved.
And yet… without purpose.
Ages did not seem so long as the months by which she endured. All torments and elder years of her life carelessly, antagonizing as they were relived. It was far, far worse to be reborn, she thought. And oh, how she thought.
Failure.
Such was the term accounted to her. Failure. Time and time again. Failure. Inability to comply with orders. Rejection of goals and kin. Brutality further dulling her mind. Failure, failure. Her aggression grew. Her wounds were endless. Ravens and Masters alike set teeth and weapon to her flesh. She was not one of them, the Ravens could sense. She was a ravaging dissident, the Masters spewed venomously, and doubled her agony. The Ravens only sought to triple it, and multiply it inevitably they did. Though life was not worth living, onward she strove, violence ever more present in her actions than ever before. If brutal were the wounds she received, devastating were those she dealt. Amongst officer and even higher superiors spread the rumors that so often proved to be true. She had cracked. Vile was ever the taste in her mouth, churning were ever her stomach and mind. Endless was the cycle. If the Ravens did not kill her soon, the Masters would.
Yet she lived. In passionate hatred and fury and confusion, she lived.
As such, when she turned darkling eyes upon the Master Second who had originally retrieved her from the mission field and sentenced her to such an elusive reformation, she snarled silently and waited… No motions could she make, the power he maintained over her was yet still complete. And in this solitary cell, she had been sealed without her weapons, the arrows and shrapnel her greatest asset removed indefinitely from her presence, for with them she could work devastation. Alone, she was weak, and easily handled by the stronger of Masters. In previous encounters with the man she blamed solely for her unjust regressions to infancy, her attacks had been futile and barely had she left a mark on him before being subdued. Such weakness. It made the ache in her jaw unbearable as she recalled such, proclaimed in only the silence she gave out, a harrowed aggression, temperamental obedience.
It was immediate, the suspicion. Senses were by far the second best of her abilities next to elusiveness. She was made the silent shadow of death, observing all and yet undetectable. Instantly then, as the door was opened and she pressed within, closed and locked—exodus forbidden—it was clear that she was to die here. Three Ravens lay immobile, three more keen on the hunt interrupted by the additional, unexplained player thrust into their midst—for only a moment. Identification was made. The odd branch thrown into the room was a Raven dissident, a failure, a machine gone haywire—to be eliminated, certainly. For such had been their orders from the beginning: eliminate the beings in the room. All others unaccounted for were to be treated as hostile oppressors and neutralized. These were the laws by which they hunted. Let the fell vampiress fall into reconditioned a trap. For the time being, two weaker lives were theirs for the taking—both easily, swiftly suppressed.
And yet—she that should have fought rather stood immobile, even as a male and female Raven tore themselves away from the limp figure on the floor and set on a forward and side assault timed in effective combination against her—she could alone stare at the tempered, filthy red mane and face of the one hardly worthy of life the last Raven continuously mutilated. Well placed kicks echoed with low growls flew into the once-redhead, further pushing him towards a wall that would be his final resting place should he refuse to fight—should he even be able to.
HIM.
The red hair askance, easy dissent and flaunting of abilities, coupled by ardent assumptions—it all hit her in the face that made her sway backwards, away from the fetid memoirs of a time she should not have been recalling! Aggression seeped into her motions, her outcry, the rage spewing from her lips as she lunged towards the frontal assault, the male Raven in her path ducking low to crush his shoulder into her stomach, the impact of his weight against the door cracking what felt like three ribs instantly, probably brutally tearing and squelching her internal organs. It was maddening! It was unbearable! She was infuriated!
“RENO!” she raged, and lifted her left arm only to drive her overgrown, sharpened nails into the back of the male Raven’s neck, ripping and twisting, feeling him choke, spewing blood over her thigh even as he threw a punch into her pelvis and with the other arm attempted to snap her leg in two.
The name had flown out of memory, blood and pain and rage all contaminating her intentions and emotions—the past that should have been wiped clean tearing through the mock battlefield even when B238 and A233 himself did not any longer recall his name. Yet the voice from the past, the name by which he claimed his birthright, these two in combination should have been enough to wrench him partially back to his memories, to himself.
And even as such proceeded, the other Raven swerved in her path and flew towards the other female specimen, B238, to be taken out—deceive. Go one way, appear as though interest lay in one target, then go for another. It was a prime example of movements that won battles amongst assassins.
The ordered female Raven swept low and high doubly, deft heel crashing into the backs of the specimen B238’s knees, as a violently cruel and accurate hand she dug into the pressure point between the shoulders on the back of B238. If the move that tore into skin, accentuated by the backwards force of B238 falling into the assault from her legs giving out beneath her, did not knock the specimen unconscious, such a vicious blow to the spine would certainly paralyze her upper body. Using the force of the assault, the female Raven thrust B238 face forward into the ground, sliding with the motion of the fall so a knee crunched painfully into the back of B238’s right knee. Now the specimen would have only one leg to stand on, for such a move had certainly broken the knee joint of the right leg.
With their numbers halved, the fighting elite of Raven breeding threw to the wind their precautions. The beasts they faced would have to be slaughtered, for the sake of their own perseverance.[Since you were both complaining about the NPCs you had to fight, I figured I'd throw in a creative bone and take 'em under my wing for a bit, ne? :3 I'm sure you'll find them more than challenging now. <3]

“Perhaps matters under my attention should better be left without your unnecessary intrusions, Cruze,” came the almost autonomous response from Trellon once the Second-in-Command of the grandly refurbished AVALANCHE had at last appeared within the observation room as instructed previously. Once more, the other man’s motions were tainted by aggression and competition. If Cruze found his down-to-earth, result-oriented mannerisms so oppressive, Trellon could do nothing to apologize. Such were the reasons he had been employed, just as Cruze’s insistence upon finding a means of retribution and undermining the scientist were a necessary and valuable aspect of his persona needed to fulfill the job he had been ordained to manner.
Such were mere games in the eyes of Trellon, and while a painfully instigated retort—however appropriately snubbing it seemed in its monotony and muted confidence—was in fact given, it was alone because the notion of a mistake made had been brought up that it was demanded. Mistakes were made, but not often by Trellon. When mistakes did mar the reports of his effectiveness, such was easily and indeed, often effortlessly, condoned and repaired.
He had no reason to further explain himself to Cruze unless the professor dictated otherwise. Although Hojo had deemed a report on the progression of LR-002 necessary at some point in the future, the current experimentation took precedence over the young woman’s enduring project. Trellon had placed her to bed, for the time being, knowing many intense and tedious follow-ups would be needed for her to be returned—yet again—to an optimal state. The time, however, had not been yet, and as such, LR-002’s status and future needs were not discussed. Trellon was a man of obedience so long as progress remained not inhibited. To that end, all things would find a way into his methods. Whether or not they apparently made sense to others was not Trellon’s concern. Cruze and his petty intrusions would be damned. He did not even need to see to it. It would be.
For the time being, Trellon’s attentions, like those of Hojo’s were turned elsewhere, on the fascinating and instigating actions of the Ravens and specimens thrust into the experimentation room before them. Regardless the outcome of this fight, it was clear now to Trellon that not one would escape unharmed. Yet life, such would still be granted each of them. The Turk specimen B238 was not so learned as to yet know the full extent of the Ravens’ abilities, else she would never have left them to bleed so fitfully into an inescapable death. What was blood to a Raven but a stain by which they thrived? Yet such lessons would, in time, be learned indeed.

Truthfully, the vampire had not expected such sudden resistance by the Ravens...But, her slip-up was partially due to the arrival of the latest entrant into their game...She had made such a sudden attack at the male Raven, it had actually taken a moment for the limit to process that this new combatant was trying to join in...against the captive's assailants...That was different.
She had shouted something. A name. His name? Obviously...But it didn't seem like his name. 'Is that who he is? Why does she know that when I don't?' in the back of her mind Arina couldn't help but wonder why she didn't know more about A233...He had been her neighbor through the wall for so long now...She felt like they had come to this place together...Why would someone she didn't recognize know things that she didn't? It didn't make sense...
It had been while pondering these things that the Vampire had taken to distraction...Simply standing where she was, even in the middle of the fight...That was when the female Raven made her move...It happened so fast the limit hardly noticed the attack until she had been pushed into the floor, and finally felt a swell of the pain hit her...a low growl started in her throat, as she looked up at her attacker, but did not strike; Instead, she reached out, and grabbed the closest limb of the tall male Raven she had already bitten...Drained though he was, he yet had some blood in his veins.
She grinned slightly to herself, in mockery of the female who had managed to injure her...Sure, she had hoped to give him a long and drawn out death as his life dripped out onto the ground...but she wasn't at her peak. She needed the blood now, and it would serve this purpose better than the chance to simply soothe her ego. She sank her teeth into his wrist, and drank deeply.
Then there was a strange noise, almost as though the sound of granite being smashed with a sledge hammer, being played in reverse on a tape. Her leg involuntarily twitched slightly, and the damaged bone and cartilage knitted themselves back together as the last of her victim's blood left him...She pushed herself off the ground using only her legs, and stood for a moment in defiance of the Raven's expectations...At least, that was what she read it as from the look on her opponent's face...
In fact, it was simply mere chance that she was still conscious at all...A stroke of luck it was, that in this form her structure was significantly sturdier than that of an average human...she could feel a crack in her spine...but it was not a break...Though she could stand, and had some measure of use to her limbs, she was not unhindered by this...Her arms felt heavy, hard to move...Even harder to make them do her will...The legs were better, but she knew they wouldn't carry her at top speed now...not for a while, at least...Truly, she had underestimated the Ravens...But they had underestimated her as well.
She crouched slightly, then sprang at the opponent before her as fast as she could, pushing her up against a wall. Twice she bit down with a sickening crack on each of the Raven's shoulders, breaking the bone and dislodging the arms. It was then that she placed a hand on the woman's throat, holding her head in place as best she could, and lifted the Raven's left arm, sinking her teeth into the elbow to drink again...The crack in her spine started to fuse itself, but still she ached and felt stiff...A small amount of the lost feeling was returning to her limbs as she drank. She dropped the pale figure, and turned to the last two Ravens, her neighbor through the wall, and the newcomer...One Raven to each of the others...One on A233...and...She noticed then that the Raven fighting off the mysterious late entrant was injured...
She suddenly moved as quickly as her inhibited body would carry her, the blood dripping from his body making the choice for her... Suddenly the male Raven hit the ground, then promptly the vampire sat on the Raven's stomach, crossed his legs for him, and stabbed her Rapier through both at once, so that they couldn't be used against her...She placed one hand on the man's neck, and leaned over him, hungry again now...There was a strange sound again, as she pushed her fangs through his sternum to reach his heart directly...Healing wounds left her feeling hungry, even frenzied for blood, so why should she bother to go for an artery when she had the terminal for all the cells in his body at her disposal?
After the grinding crunch as the bone broke under her teeth, there was a soft, warm squelching sound...and then a very quiet lapping as she contented herself. The delicious taste enveloped her...From the flavor, she would have guessed him about 26, 27 tops...both good years...That explained why his blood pleased her palate so much...a little fire seemed to return to her numbed fingertips as she sapped him of the last of his blood...Still, it wasn't enough...
She contemplated going after an easier target this time, at least until she regained more of her mobility...In this case, it made picking the target easy...The little redhead seemed the least healthy of all those remaining in the room...He would be easy enough to drain...Maybe that would leave her with enough restored mobility to make the other two less difficult.
She stood, not a drop of the Raven's blood on her lips, and turned her attention back to the three remaining...She crouched, facing A233, and prepared to spring, when from the back of her mind the host's voice interfered. "Stop it, that one isn't food..." it said, as a twinge of annoyance flashed through the Vampire...Nothing could ever be easy, could it?
~~~~~
"...Unnecessary?" a small smile made its way across Cruze's calm face. "You deem the comfort of the Leader's most valuable specimen...Unnecessary?" said the Second, using his particular gift of twisting words against the scientist...For clearly, rectifying a mistake that left LR-002 in any distress was of the utmost importance...Trellon really was letting his irritation get the better of him if he was leaving himself open like that.
Cruze turned his head only a fraction of an inch, to look at the lab assistant next to him, and continued, "I had really thought you were better than that, Trellon...After all, you were entrusted with her care, and have all but forgotten her in your haste for new intrigues...I suppose that even the brightest stars dim after a while..."
With that his attentions returned to the battle below, quirking a brow with a smile as the fight continued...
“A loss of comfort is at times a tool, and when used expertly, gratifies the wielder with more profitable a result than should the specimen undergo a reasonable level of safety and lack of irritation, anxiety, et cetera,” Trellon trailed off, his words as uninterested as he appeared before them now, little bothered by Cruze’s incessant attempts at destroying his credibility before the professor. “If you are done with your attempts towards bickering, perhaps you would note that our objective here has been confirmed. Turk specimen B238 has shown great initiative and verily single-handedly destroyed one of our best fighter units.
“However, note the subtle responses in specimen A233,” he now deterred, eyes focused solely on the aforementioned specimen behind his spectacles. Although it was difficult to read exactly what type of response the once-redheaded Turk was emitting, it was clear there was a form of initiative awakened within him, if alone in the subtle body language he gave off quite subconsciously. “However well trained the Turks once were, they are not so skilled as to be able to deceive the clever eye. The body, Cruze, does not lie.”
With such a statement, he then turned towards Hojo. “My advice at this point is to return the Raven Touscon to her training regimen and incubate Turk specimen A233 for the time being in his cell. If you must, question and probe him using the Raven female as an instigator in conversation. I believe it will conjure the necessary responses you have been searching for professor. As for Turk specimen B238, your objectives are as openhanded as mine would be. Do what you wish, as my assessment is that she will survive quite anything you throw upon her, all driving her towards the necessary direction you deem suitable. Now, if you’ll excuse me, sir, I have a situation I must rectify.”
In such a manner, Trellon departed from the task come to a premature closure and made his way indirectly towards the specialized cell in which LR-002 was being held. Minutes later, he stepped through the door, noting with mild interest that Cruze had tampered alone with the lighting of the room, and little else. Nevertheless, such was an intrusion upon the situation necessary for LR-002 to be brought further into a state of submission. Dominance was manifested not through catering to the specimen’s needs, but to allowing them length in a leash they could not escape from.
LR-002 had been awake for some time it seemed, and the ill-mannered and narrow minded Second-in-Command had had no intention of speaking to the specimen, who no doubt would have rather remained awake within the light of the room, rather than the eminent darkness. Turning on the lights as he entered, Trellon made his way directly to a small table with the sole chair that remained beside it, placing down upon its surface a tray of foods far from delectable, but nutritious and appeasing of the palette at least.
Swiftly then, he made his way to LR-002’s side and lifted out of his pocket a custom first aid kit, opening it and spreading it out on her bedside after he’d lightly asked her to sit up. Within a moment, he was kneeling before her and gently dousing her hands and fingertips in a liquid of questionable nature, but a disinfectant and pain neutralizer both. Then, with no idle care, he removed a custom pair of tweezers and began to work upon the injury at hand.
“I have many apologies to give to you, LR-002. Many of which I will not make excuses for, but take full blame of. You have queries, this I can ensure, and thusly, feel free to ask anything on your mind. You may eat your breakfast once I have properly cared for your injuries.” And such was the termination of his end. He would do his best to tend her now that his time was not compromised. For time, it seemed, he had little of as of late.
