Further inspection of the wasteland once known as Deinoforaum was no better than the first glance. Everything was either abandoned or half-way demolished. Rain was better than before though, he walked along with Siirioc through the ruins of the town, something very grim was growing in his mind, a black shadow that told him something malevolent was close. Soon he realized that the sand was moving in one direction, and the wind was not strong enough to carry so much of it. Without even thinking about it, he began to follow the sand to wherever it was headed.

While Siirioc stayed on the path they were walking on before, he noticed Rain had started to follow a trail of sand, which, strangely, seemed to be moving more quickly than the wind would allow. "Ummm...Rain? Are you sure it's a good idea to follow that trail? There's probably another Servant at the end of it...or worse..." Siirioc said, showing his paranoia. Regardless, he couldn't just abandon Rain, and so he turned to walk alongside him as he said this. He nervously eyed the path the sand was making, and frequently turned to leave it, but decided to stick with Rain each time.

For a short while, Kampur followed Siirioc and Rain as they explored the ruins, but soon she unwittingly broke off and was on her own. It wasn't until she, too, noticed the odd movement of sand that she realized that she was seperated from them. Hit with a wave of panic, she franticly traced her steps back to where she had last seen the two natives. Usually, she wouldn't have been quite so panicked, but with her already bad experience with moving sand, the merciless heat, and not enough energy to pull off another stunt like before, she felt an unusual need to be near something that was alive. Anything that was alive.

She quickly found what was left of the tracks left in the thing layer of sand by Rain and Siirioc's feet, and began to follow them.

Welcome outlanders... What was once Deinoforaum is now Kreilium, this shall be the spear-head of the Empire. Here, there will be a mountain of buildings, and the demonic presence shall be forthcoming, and dominant. Kreil shall sit on his bloody throne once again, and this time, not even the Gods will stop him!! The Voice that spoke at first in only a whisper, soon became the raging voice of a demon, whose eyes were fixed upon the three so-called "Outlanders" of Kreilium. The presence did not show himself, but Rain could sense him with clarity.
"Show yourself!!!!" Rain called out in anger, his fist clenching, ready for whatever may come.
"Puny mortal! Your demon magic is no match for mine! Come forth! The Sentinel!!!!"
Before their eyes, all of the sand that traveled the path began to pile, and form into a mass that was bigger than the houses in the residential area of the city. It grew glowing crystal eyes, and the sand clenched tight in its jaw. Its sand settled into a rock solid mass, and a lizard-like form stood on four clawed feet, staring them down with a swinging tail that bashed into a house beside it, taking it completely down.
"....Tsuto...." Rain cursed....

Siirioc took on a skeptical visage as the voice boomed out, and he grimaced several times during this. "Who the hell are YOU? What makes you think you can waltz in, destroy a civilization, and set up a throne?!" he yelled at the being. However, as the huge creature manifested itself, he looked up higher and higher, seeing it in all of its infernal glory. "I...don't see this kind of thing very often. Rain...what is that...?" he stuttered. He squinted a bit at it, and saw its strange eyes, and his hands wandered towards the cross strapped to his back. "Its eyes...crystal. If we can't escape...maybe...I should hit them?" Siirioc suggested.

Rain didn't waste any time, he suddenly let out a hard roar, lifting his arm up and making it glow on his fist, and then suddenly the demon arm formed faster than it ever had, and it even lifted up over his shoulder and over a good part of his torso, making him glow an extremely demonic red color, a small pulse of pressure emitting from him.

Kampur had finally found Rain and Siirioc when the voice began to speak. She was begining to have a strong dislike for deserts. She was roughly ten feet from the two of them when the voice took the physical form of an enormous lizard-like creature with crystal eyes. Kampur took her rod from it's holster that was around her waist and put Siirioc's sword in it's place. If they were going to fight-which it seemed like they were-she wanted to fight with a weapon she was familiar with. Why she hadn't used her rod before, she blamed on the heat of the sun.

The stone at the end of her rod almost seemed to be giving off a black 'glow' as it absorbed the light that surrounded it, taking in energy. Being in the middle of a desert, with the sun still in the sky, gave her a near limitless supply of light and Kampur intended to use it to her advantage.

Siirioc stared straight up as the adrenaline rushed through him, and he tapped into his psychic power. Flying up through the air, he spun around with great force, holding the giant wooden cross out, slamming one of its arms into one of its crystal eyes. Then he grabbed onto its side, and, aided by his psychokinesis, scrambled up on top of its head, where he made the cross fly above his head and slam down onto it repeatedly. "You'd better go down quickly!" Siirioc shouted in its ear.

The sentinel's eye was indeed crushed, and his head collided with a broken-down house from the recoil of the impact. However, as he began to smash its head with his cross, the Sentinel simply threw Siirioc straight up as he flicked his head up. Then as he was in the air, he opened his mouth wide, a bigger, shining ruby showed out and blasted straight for Siirioc.

Rain pulled his arm straight back and leaped straight for the Sentinel's chin, smashing his demon arm straight through the encrusted sand, and grabbed for the gem inside of his throat. But the Sentinel's foreclaw came up and pushed Rain straight back all of the sudden and hitting a wall behind him, kicking up quite a bit of dust. The sentinel gained his composure and then looked around at the other of their companions.

While Siirioc and Rain attacked the creature, Kampur dug her feet into the ground, and, as if she were going to throw it, she moved the rod up and over her head. When the creature turned and looked at her, she brought the rod down infront of her with both hands, pointing it at the creature. While she did this, a small white spot appeared in the core of the black stone of the rod. When the rod was set solidly infront of her, the entire stone became white and a seemingly solid beam of light 2 feet in diameter shot from it, aimed at the head of the creature. As the beam travelled the distance between Kampur and the Lizard, it blew even more dirt, dust, and sand into the air.

As Siirioc flew up, he flipped a few times and re-coordinated himself, bringing his cross to bear. Using his psychokinetic abilities, he accelerated downward, adrenaline surging through him as his eyes focused themselves on the creature's neck. Siirioc threw the cross behind him, tightening his grip, and then swung it forward mightily right before he crashed onto the sand-creature's neck, at about the same time Kampur's beam attack would hit.

Soon after impact, he threw himself away from the beast, his feet landing on a building not far from it, about level with its head. He placed the cross next to him, holding it upright and catching his breath. Focusing his limited psychometabolic talent, he inhaled deeply, forcing his body to re-oxygenate his blood more quickly. Feeling somewhat refreshed, he hefted his cross and glued his eyes to the monster.

As the beam of light from Kampur's staff came toward the Sentinel, it opened its mouth and blasted a large wave of energy at it, opposing its energy. As Siirioc flipped into the air, a Servant of the Sand rose from the ground under him, and stretched its long sand arm to jab straight at Siirioc. The Sand Servant then made his arm grab onto him, and swirl him down onto the ground, slamming him hard.

Rain rose back up as he saw the beam come into the Sentinel, he looked back at it and then rammed his demon arm straight into the Sentinel's neck, grabbing onto the crystal, cutting off the power from the crystal, and cutting off the beam's source. Kampur's blast came in hard and knocked the Sentinel back down the road.

Kampur grunted, not only because she was now fighting a counter-energy to her attack, but because Siirioc was on the lizard, and if her beam ended up making contact with the lizard, she had no idea the affect it might have on the humanoid. Her concern about Siirioc was soon gone, though, as the beam hit and she saw him land on a nearby building.

"Energy: Low." a voice coming from the rod said as the beam started to fade. Kampur quickly cut off the energy and started to recharge the rod. Thankfully, the beam lasted long enough to knock the creature back and hopefully buy enough time to charge the rod up again. Charging in the direction the creature had been knocked back, Kampur saw a Servant Of The Sand attacking Siirioc. She slowed down her charge, not sure what to attack; the Lizard, or the Sand Bender. Both were large threats, but she didn't have enough energy in the rod to attack both. Where was Rain?

His heart leaping, Siirioc pumped more energy into his Inertial Barrier, and it made an audible buzzing noise as the jab was reduced to nothing, though the arm still grabbed and slammed him. Struggling back to his feet, he picked up his giant cross, and, accelerating it again, swung it at the Servant as hard as he could. "Graah!" Siirioc yelled with effort, putting his full strength behind the blow. Nearly spinning around from the momentum, he managed to halt his wild blow. Bah, we're already fighting this giant thing, and now these guys are going to show up? Not our lucky day... Siirioc thought.

The Lizard stayed down, but the Sand Servant scattered sand some, but then reformed, and bashes a huge hammer hand against the cross, then pulled his hammer hand back far, and swung straight for Siirioc. With no time to lose, the demon made the sand engulf Siirioc as it grew huge.

Rain busted through one of the rubbled houses, and back into the street, debris following him as his demon arm dispersed, no longer able to support it with concentration. "Errrr!" Rain got back to his feet, his arm hurt, but still in rather good shape. But what walked out of the house caused the sands to shake. It was a large, almost 7 feet, completely sand-colored demon, its horns massively curled around his head and dipping down to his shoulders, his teet two fangs on top, two on bottom. He wore a loin cloth and walked on two gigantic hooves. He carried a black-flaming sword.
"Foolish mortals! I am Desmartus Koxonumach, Master of the Famine!"
"Daaaaii!!" Rain shouted, his entire body shining white and little crystal stars forming all over his body. "Daiizaaaa!!!!" He roared and many specks flew one after the other in a quick chain formation. The Demon was struck by these and showed great discomfort with them.
"RAH!!!!" He swung his large black sword, and swung it, a bad tent of black fell over Rain, he was not even directly hit and yet the effect was clearly seen as the rest of his attack was interrupted. He slumped, gasping, obviously in great pain.
