Sighing, Gabriel kept trying, carefully so he wouldn't waste the ingredients. He followed the instructions again and this time though it didn't go black straight away. Improvement! Still, it was far from what it should be, and by the time he was finished the potion was somewhat brownish and seemed as if it was going to stay like that. Knowing he wasn't going to do better than that. Gabriel bottled it up and labeled it, leaving it wordlessly on the teacher's desk.

Eric was more focused now, even though from time to time he stole a glance of Lady Conc-, Lady Conctcet-, Lady C. He got spooked at first as the potion darkened after he added an ingredient, but relieved followed as it cleared out towards the end. After he had added the final ingredient it finally, really almost turned golden. It was... Yellow. Dark Yellow. And he could swear there was something milky about it's sheen, so it would have to do. Filling the vial and putting a label on it, he strode towards the teacher's desk and left it there, sidestepping the shorter boy who had just done the same.

Knowing that Kale would be distracted again by someone else soon enough, Lady Concetta had no problem wisking herself away to the first year with her hand up. "Yes?" She asked of Orchida.

After Lady Concetta added the Guiness, Steven looked down in amazement as the potion turned a deep golden hue. He shook himself out of staring at the potion and turned off the heat, crossed his arms, and waited. He added the other ginger pile and the Acromantula blood and the same time and watched expectantly. I hope I'm doing this right. he thought to himself. He started holding his breath out of anxiety and looked deeper still into the potion. When a pearly shine began to form over the entire potion he exhaled and started to relax.
Then Steven shrugged himself out of his fascination with the color change, looked around for a vial and wrote 'Steven Takeshi, 4th year' on it. The he measured out 25ml and set it out in the vial holder. A little impressed with himself that he had actually finished the potion, he looked around the class to see where everyone else was one more time before he started his homework.

Kale's eyes held no emotion as he firmly hid his churning thoughts within. Turning over what Lady Concetta revealed of herself, Kale was truely stumped. He couldn't make out his own thoughts, what he wanted to do with his future vs. what his grandfather wanted of him. But now wasn't the time to brood over the matter.
Kale shook his head, bringing himself back down to the real world. A small, slight smile tugged at his mouth while he watched Orchidia and Darius, the siblings seemed so very different. But then again, how could he say, when it was only Darius that Kale was friends with.
THis being the first time he's run into Orchidia this year, Kale felt the need to greet the young girl for the sake of politeness. And maybe the fact that she was his mate's younger relative. But everyone was so very busy, completing potions and hurrying to finish the homework, that Kale decided it best to wait till another day.
Student after bustling student hurled past his desk, delivering their finished potions. Kale frowned in annoyance, hating that he would be one of the last to clean up for the day. His hands instantly reached out for the ginger powder and bottle of blood, holding them up steadily.
With careful precision, both ingrediences were added to the cauldron. The moment the last drop of blood rippled the potion's surface, Kale felt himself draw in a breath.
