Riaen mimiced stretching from a nap and grinned. "Sleeping in my coffin all these years really makes me appreciate the nice soft beds." He stretched again and rolled onto his stomach, face planted in Harvina's pillow, "Mmmm, Harvina shampoo!." He chuckled.

((Its ok, I've been half and half lately, lol))

Riaen turned to regard her. You wouldn't beleive it, Harvina. He smiled innocently, "What could you possibly be implying?" He chuckled lightly and cuddled up against her. He turned his head to whisper in her ear.
"It's not like I'm going to feed from you... yet."

Riaen gave her a strange look before softening his expression. It was comforting to have her so close, especially when it felt as though they haven't seen each other in weeks. Riaen closed his eyes and relaxed, his body becoming more into a death like state. Harvina was warm and felt nice to be next to, and it seemed as if she was tired enough to fall asleep shortly. As he inhaled her scent there was a last fleeting thought of someone interrupting him before his mind blanked and he passed into a resting state.

It was nice being so warm. He almost missed being alive.
((Hmm, I wonder what Riaen will dream of?))

As a vampire, it was a rare occasion that Riaen would acually dream. Dreams were usually forgotten or didn't wake the dreamer, but in this case it was worse off then any. Being so close to a living person, Riaen dreamt of his life as a normal wizard. Well, at least as normal as his life could get. It started off all right with passing memories of his stay with his grandmother. His life in the village nearby a kingdom wasnt bad, so it was peaceful to relive.

All peaceful until the warmth of Harvina left. As his temperature cooled again without her warmth, his dream became nightmarish. Flashes of the vampire attack disturbed his peaceful slumber. His dream turned horrid as everyone died around him. His mother and father slaughtered in front of him. His brother trying to defend himself against the unstoppable foe only to be cut down and drained. Everywhere the dream Riaen turned, the vampire was there slaughtering his family and friends. It destroyed his life in one night, and this night was it's anniversery. The dreaming Riaen twitched in his sleep. The visions of nightmares getting worse. Everyone was dying in his head. Everyone he ever held dear.

His body started to thrash soundlessly as more and more people were slaughtered in front of his dream self. His nightmare unending, and he couldn't awake.
((Hmm, there's more but I think I'll let a few more posts go by since the dream-nightmare is going to take some time))

Hearing Harvina's voice made Raien's dream take a turn for the worst. The last image he saw was Harvina walking up to him, only to be cut down by the vampire attacker. It was enough shock to awaken him and he sat bolt upright. His eyes were wide and red from unrest, and he glared around, still thinking something was horribly wrong. His entire body shook with a mix of terror and anger as his mouth opened in a fanged hiss.

He didn't quite realize Harvina was next to him as he stood on the bed in a crouch. It looked as if he was about to utterly destroy something, but as he stared around his eyes did not register the presence of another.

((eew, that sucks. I'm thinking about taking Riaen to another HP rp since he's actually quite the fun character^^))

Riaen blinked and looked down at Harvina, his eyes blood red and cold. His head tilted as if he did not quite understand before he leaned closer with a growl.
Riaen, as Harvina knew him, was just barely under the surface of the newly awoken monster. The monster, however, could only smell her blood and hear her heartbeat.
