"It's alright. For my kind, doing that really feels good. We work them a lot. We're flying a lot...they don't really get much luxury in that area..." He stopped, looking grim for a few seconds. Yup. Dresses mostly. A lot of people say I look good in them, but I prefer pants..." The grim look gave away to another smile. "And I don't mind your room at all! I think it's wonderful! It gets away from all the white...eventually, when you look at one color too long, you become...sort of color blind..."

.:Lucifer:. Lucifer blushed softly, though it was hard to tell since there wasn't that much light in the room. And for that, Lucifer was glad. So hopefully the other wouldn't see him blush. "So...you wouldn't mind if I did that more often?" He asked softly, more of curiously than anything. Out of the two, since he had to have a 'wife' eventually, he would much rather have this one than the one who was too bright and such.
Besides...those wings felt so much better than his own wings, which he hardly took out. Not because it hurt too much, he was used to the pain. But the blood was annoying and such a pain to clean up. His wings were leathery, bat like wings. The soft, feathery wings of the one in front of him felt much better than his own wings.
And if the other really didn't like dresses that much, no matter how much he might want to see how this one compared to his brother while wearing a dress, he would never ask.
Then he smiled happily, replying with a soft laugh, "Then I should be color blind. Since I look at black most of the time. And if it weren't for the fact that I'm almost completely blind, I think I might as well be color blind...But I think that would be interesting, to be color blind..."

Charlie lost all train of thought when the man laughed. "Wow..." He stared across, "Lucifer...that...was the most...beautiful sound..." He couldn't remember if he'd laughed before, but it actually registered in his mind this time. "Your laughter...I've never heard something like that...in a long time. My whole family has a fake laugh. I'm the only one who doesn't...but you...it was quiet, but it was true..." He sighed, "I wish...that my family wasn't so fake. I'd like them to learn a bit from you..." He thought a bit after that, "And I don't think I could handle being color blind. I love most colors. and a good wing pet...I definitley wouldn't mind."

.:Lucifer:. Well...now that he thought about it, he hadn't laughed in several years...No, he hadn't laughed in a really long time. And to find that the other could say things to make him laugh...It was really amazing to him.
But what the other said about it made him blush deeper, murmuring, "I'm sure you've heard more beautiful sounds...I'm sure that my voice isn't as beautiful as you think it is...Besides...It's been several years since I've laughed...I think when I last laughed, it was before my eyes were poisoned..." His eyes widened and he asked, "Learn from me? I don't think that would be possible..."
He thought about it and replied to the color blindness statement, "Well, I'm almost practically blind and have been for several years...If I had to choose between this and being color blind, I would rather be able to see and just not see in color..." And at the wing pet statement, his hand reached out again, combing his fingers through the silky feathers.

Charlie sighed with comfort as his wings were stroked. It felt marvelous. He steadily started relaxing more. "And your voice is plenty beautiful." He murmured, "the best I've heard. And a lot of people can learn from you. Like how to eat properly." He smiled at his comment, "And yes. Compared to being blind, I suppose being color blind would be good...but seeing and in color...that's the best. I'm partially colorblind. I can't see anything blue. Silly, eh?" He looked down at his lap, "The other kids used to tease me a lot. I used to get so envious...that they could see the sky...and I couldn't...It's a horrible thing. But it could be worse." By then, the boy had moved, so that his wings were easier to access. He made a small sound from his throat, like a purr, but a musical purr.

.:Lucifer:. He couldn't help it...the other was so cute when his wings were being stroked, he looked so peaceful and sweet. Besides...that purr noise coming from him was absolutely gorgeous coming from him. He didn't know why the other thought his laugh was pretty when that purring noise was so much more beautiful. He continued to comb his fingers through the other's feathers.
"How to eat properly?" Lucifer shook his head. "I highly doubt that. I'm sure you can eat better than I can..." His eyes closed for a few seconds before opening again. "You can't see blue? What color is it to you? Is it a light gray color or is it a different color all together?" He had heard about different strains of being color blind before and he was just curious.

"Various shades of grey, yes..." He laughed lightly, but the purring noise continued, so there were two seperate sounds altogether. "And I highly doubt that I could ever eat better than you..." He closed his eyes, content with his wings being stroked. He felt like he could die from happiness. but...not. Because then he wouldn't be able to feel that glorious feeling...He let out a thrum. He couldn't remember the last time he was so happy...never. He'd never been this happy before. Never in his life.

.:Lucifer:. Various shades of gray...That would be interesting....Of course, with his only eye not working very well as it was, all the colors he could see were dimmed...but he could still see the colors.
"Well...I didn't know I had such good manners...but...I suppose I can try to show you how to eat like I do during your treatment. If you want, that is," Lucifer shrugged, not really sure if the other would want to.
"And don't think what you said is true...I think your laugh...Especially when you laugh and purr at the same time is much prettier sounding than how I laugh..." His fingers still stroking the other's wings.

"Alright. My brothers always said that I'd be an absolute failure at it...so I usually ran away when it came to those classes..." It was the boy's turn to become flushed once he was complimented. "Oh...this purr...I hate it." He laughed, shaking his head, "It's not in my control though...It just happens when I'm extremely happy...but...I don't think that anything could be better then your laugh. It's so much more...powerful...like it actually has a whole bunch of meaning. I think that I'm emotionless most of the time..."

Well, he could do without the marriage part of it...But this one was very friendly and...Lucifer had actually taken quite a liking to him. Which was the rarest thing to happen in the world. At least for him. He had never taken a liking to anyone. Not even when he was a child. Not even to his brothers.
"Alright, then your treatment will also consist of classes you want to take from me." He paused, replying to what he said about the purr, "Aww, don't hate your purr. I think it's adorable! And it's not meaningless...And you certainly aren't emotionless...Or, at least, you certainly aren't around me....Which is a good thing, right?"

Charlie nodded, "Yes. It's good that I'm not emotionless around you...and thank you Lucifer. I appreciate..that..." He was loosing thoughts again. He was in too much pleasure. Pretty soon he wouldn't be thinking of coherent sentances, or saying them. He wanted to embrace his friend, and snuggle up to him and stay there forever, but he wouldn't dare too. That could offend. And he might get angry...that would be horrible too...but still..."Classes...yes..." The purring had gotten louder. Just slightly though, but it was definitley louder.

.:Lucifer:. Lucifer smiled, for some reason, quite liking the reactions he was getting out of the other just by doing the simple and wonderful feeling task of petting his wings. Which he had yet to stop. And Lucifer wasn't exactly sure if he wanted to stop.
"You're welcome?" Lucifer asked curiously. "What do I need to be thanked for? I have done nothing...except perhaps be myself and pet your wings..."
And while it might have been true that, earlier, before he had talked with Charlie that night, if anyone had come up to him and started to randomly hug or snuggle up close to him, Lucifer would have had them out like a light in seconds. Even now, he wouldn't be able to stand other's touching him. Unless it was Charlie. He could stand Charlie and he liked the other enough so where if the other did hug him, Lucifer wouldn't be comfortable enough to hug back or anything, but he would let himself be hugged.
And the purring was so adorable. Even when it got louder, the adorableness of his purring went up.

"you've made me the happiest I've ever been..." Charlie said truthfully, leaning foreward, and placing his head on Lucifer's shoulder. At that moment...that wonderful blissful moment, Charlie felt complete. He felt safe...cared for...everything his family and home couldn't give him. The boy's cheeks were still hot, and the purring was still just as loud. Charlie had to wonder...if he never meet Lucifer...if he was still confined to his room...being polite...
..he'd probably be dead.

.:Lucifer:. "I'm glad that you're feeling better," Lucifer murmured, his other hand going around Charlie's back, holding him close, still stroking his wings. He had no problem with this...As strange as it was, he didn't mind this at all...He quite liked it...
He liked when the other was happy, he really did. Add to that fact that the other liked his eyes, the way he sounded, his food he made himself, the things he did....And Lucifer laughed softly. He sounded so strange! So different than what he normally did...Perhaps he was getting to like the other...Perhaps in a deeper way than friendship, too...But that would come later. He knew he wasn't ready for anything more than just a friendship at the moment.

Charlance couldn't think of what he was feeling. It was more then happy...it was like...a euphoria...but so different. Was this what it was like to have...a friend? To be held so close...to not be scolded...He wrapped his own arms around the older, a wide smile on his face. He felt...completely free. That was probably what he was really feeling. Plus the happiness...he was free. "I'm...so happy..." He almost felt like crying.
