Tyler walked into the kitchen adn his eyes lit up. "That's Cara." he said to Turik. Then he bowed. "Hi Miss Ara." He picked Llew up and walked over to Ecara. "Look Cara. His name is Llew and he's really neat. He can do all kinds of cool stuff." Tyler sat on the floor and pet Llew. The little fox sniffed Ecara and jumped up licking her face. He yipped once and ran over to Tyler. He sat on the floor his tail thumping much like an excited puppy's. Tyler laughed and started petting the fox.

Niah stirred and stretched. She had no idea how long she had been asleep but it seemed like it had been for a while. She sat up on the couch and kicked off the blanket. "Tyler?" she asked softly. She looked at her bed and saw it was empty. Panic gripped her. Where could he be? She flew off the couch and ran over to the bed to make sure he wasn't hiding under the covers. A glint caught her out of the corner of her eye and she walked back towards the desk to see what it was. A torque she thought must be Turik's and next to it was a small flat stone on a chain. She picked it up and it felt warm in her palm. She read the name and sighed with relief. Tyler should be safe with Turik. She certainly hoped so.

Aura turned in her chair, the perfect smile of greeting and happiness on her face, despite the turmoil she was drowning in inside. And even that she was hiding away for the sake of any empath in the place. She gave a nod to him. "Hello...I believe we haven't met." In hidden painful fashion she pushed herself from her chair, setting Ecara to the floor."Nice to meet you...I'm Aurahkah." Then a look to the wolf featured girl. "And this is Ecara." Her attention then went briefly to Tyler. "Hello there Tyler."

Eclipse stood and looked to Turik. "And you already know me Turik." He gave a chuckle. "I see you finally got around this place quite a bit. And finally you get to meet the owner of the place. How fitting." He pulled his one paw up, keeping weight off of it from pain, but passing it off as a lazy gesture.

Ecara sniffed at the air for a moment. Then she almost cautiously approached Tyler and Llew. Both intrigued her to an extent and her mind went back to being like a sponge. She only knew the names of both from her mother and the boy himself. She sat on the floor across from them both, her tail swishing with curiosity as she intently watched them both.

Llew wandered over to Ecara and sniffed her tail his own wagging in time with hers. He yipped and ran back trying to get Ecara to play too.
Tyler smiled at Ecara. "He wants you to play with him Cara. Here." He held out the piece of jerky the fox had been playing with earlier. "Just play tug with him. He loves it."

Niah held the stone in her palm and ran a hand through her hair. She wondered where Turik and Tyler were. She had a pretty good idea they'd end up in the kitchen eventually. Tyler was always hungry. That little boy could certainly eat. She left her room and made her way to the kitchen. Walking inside she saw Aura and Clip in their usual spots. On the floor playing were Tyler, Ecara, and Llew. "Hello everyone. Tyler you scared me. I didn't know where you were." She nodded to Aura and looked at her friend for a moment. "Hello Aura. How are you?" She walked over ot the table and leaned down patting Eclipse on the head. Then she took a seat across from Aura. Her senses told her something was off here but nothing was clear.

"Hello Lady Aura, Eclipse." Turik said, still bowing. he stood as Nailah entered. "Please forgive me, it was my fault." he eyed the torque in her hand "I am glad you found our little message," he smiled and sat down on the floor next to the children, "Hello little lady" he whispered to the child "My name is Turik. whats yours?" he had heard the word "Cara" from Tyler, but wasnt sure that was entirely accurate. He looked at her wolves ears, her tail here blue and black hair; then glanced over at Aurahkah and Eclipse...he tried to keep a cool appearance but inside he was shocked, it was obvious were the child had come from, but how?

She hadn't caught all or understood it all, but she gathered the general idea from Tyler. Taking the piece of jerky, she sniffed it herself, even bit it in curiosity with tiny fangs before lowering it to the little foxes level, waving it ever so slightly.

Aura looked over to Niah. She figured that she knew some of what had happened the previous night. Only one besides herself with enough experience to mend bones by magical means was Niah. But Aura didn't say anything, still hiding in her fantasy world of it didn't happen really.

Ecara turned her head for a moment to Turik. "Ecara." A small fanged smile.

Llew remembered the game well from the other night. He yipped happily and grabbed on to the piece of dried beef. backing up and trying to struggle it free from the girls grasp. Turik could sense the tension in the room, which was only slighly lightened by the playing youngsters. He decided to keep quiet, he had a feeling Aura didnt need any questioning or small talk.

Tyler looked up. "Miss Niah!" He listened to her for a moment and then said "I couldn't sleep and I wanted to look around. I wasn't going to go very far. I promise." Tyler watched Ecara play with Llew and nodded. He had seen her bite the jerky and wanted to say something but stopped when she lowered it. He laughed at Llew's antics and helped Ecara keep Llew from getting it. "Isn't he neat Cara?" he asked happily.

Niah looked at Turik, "Thank you for watching him. He just manages to slip away and it was very nice of you to leave me something so I knew he was okay." She turned to Aura. "Okay Aura. You must know how curious I am about what happened last night. I won't lie to you. I want to know. But I also know that sometimes there are things better kept to ourselves. If you don't want to tell me...I guess I'll understand. I won't like it but I refuse to pressure you. I healed you. You must know that. I also carried you and Eclipse to the infirmary and you are not light either." She said trying to put humor into a touchy situation. "But I will say this. I'm glad you are alright adn I'm sorry but you are going to be in pain for a while. Your arm is going to feel awful for a few weeks. I have something you can take for the pain though. When it becomes unbearable just let me know." Niah tried again with her sensing and still found nothing. Aura must have gotten good at hiding her feelings. For some reason it hurt Niah that she didn't want her to know what she was feeling. Niah only wanted to help.

Aura only smiled and then laughed, even if they were fake, at Niah. "You're speaking like a healer to a healer. And the pain is already unbearable...but I've felt worse than this, believe me. And thank you Niah...and I'm sorry that I can't tell you what happened...not yet anyway...it's all to fresh. Her mood dampened for a second before she returned her attention to Turik. "So, Turik was is? I'm sorry I haven't met you sooner."

Eclipse was lying on the floor again, watching Ecara, Tyler and Llew, giving soft words and barks of encouragement to the two children as they played with the little fox creature.

A soft growl raised from Ecara's throat as she pulled against the wolf. Hands slipping she tumbled back into and over Tyler, landing face first on the floor. Lifting her head she shook it and twitched her ears. Then she lifted her hand and stared with curiosity at the angle her pinky and ring fingers was bending.

Eclipse was up in a moment, inspecting the fingers as well. "Well those are broken...it doesn't hurt Ecara?"

She shook her head. "No." From the severity of the break...the girl should of been screaming her head off.

Turik nodded to Aura, talking about the goings on over the past few days, hoping to lighten her mood a little. He gasped when Ecara flew back, her fingers bent at an akward angle. Llew came and licked her small fingers and laid his head against the small girls chest and whined in apology. Turik knealed down to inspect the girls fingers. "Can you heal this Nailah, hurt or not, i dont think its a good idea that she go around with her fingers half-off."

Aura didn't seem to worried about the girl's fingers, nor did she move to heal them herself. She merely dropped a hand down to her head, stroking her hair as Ecara stared in that same fascinated way at her own broken fingers. Aura had been intrigued on this subject to Ecara's being. Apparently what was said was true. If she didn't know what it was, she couldn't associate with or feel it. She didn't know what she was feeling was called pain...therefore Aura concluded it couldn't hurt her. Wonderful how the spell and descriptions in the book had been so thorough. "She's a tough girl."

Niah nodded to Aura. She understood how painful recent events could be. Ay had taught her that so well. She sighed and forced herself not to press Aura for any information. She did make a mental note to slip the painkiller in something Aura was going to eat or drink. She would not allow her to be in pain if it wasn't necessary. She was debating on what else she could say when she saw Ecara's accident. "Oh by Ra..." She stood up and walked over to the little girl. Her brows knit together. The little girl should at least be in tears. She looked at Aura confusion in her eyes. "That's the toughest kid I've ever seen." Niah examined the little girl's fingers and gently felt them. They were definitely broken.

Tyler watched in fascination as Ecara broke her fingers. He blinked once and swallowed. "Miss Niah...what's wrong with Cara's finger?" He wasn't sure why she wasn't crying. Everytime he fell down he always cried adn hten his mom would kiss his boo boo and it would feel better.

Niah looked at Aura. "I want to heal her but...can I?" Niah wasn't entirely sure if she could or not. AFter all she couldn't heal Eclipse and Ecara was from him. She didn't want to hurt the girl but she still couldn't fathom why the girl wasn't even crying. She had seen men scream for things much less severe than that. Yet the girl seemed fascinated...not even scared.

Cymarron, having finished his lair, came in the kitchen tracking dirt, and was layered in it. he snorted and shook hismelf loose of most, catching Eclispe, Aura and the child...as well as Tyler and his keeper and the large man all present.

"Cymarron cleaned up after others left. Cymarron has also finished his own den..others welcome."

He moved to the fridge, and not even realizing it shadowed his hand through the door, before pulling out, and putting it back through, amused..then opening the door to grab the usual meat and eggnog.

"Cymarron smelled a scent to a person Cymarron has not seen yet on the den mother and her compainions. Cymarron took care of the excess blood on the floor as well. This..ability, will fade in moments. it did help Cymarron make his den though."

He spoke between tears of meat, and gulps of eggnog.

Aura was quiet for a moment as she was sharing a brief conversation with Eclipse via mind link. She then looked to Niah. "Go on ahead." Not that Aura was being cold to Ecara, she was just testing theories. This one also went along the lines of no pain association. Then a look over to Cymarron. "Hello you."

Ecara was still fascinated, looking at her fingers with a fanged grin on her face. She went so far as to touching the broken fingers, even bending them around in their broken position. She seemed rather amused, her tail even taking to slightly wagging. Dual colored eyes turned up to Niah, not even worried. She even began to pull away, intending to go back to playing. In her world, nothing was wrong.

Eclipse had fallen into Aurahkah's lead. Fascinated by all this and seeing if information proved true. It was a little disturbing to watch.

Tyler looked up and saw Cymarron. "Mr. Cynammon!" he said excitedly. "Cara hurted her fingers and she's not even cryin." He watched the giant cat-like man eat and smiled. "What's a den?"

Niah shook her head and decided to keep her comments to herself. She didn't want to clue Ecara in to the fact she should be in extreme pain. It was probably good Ecara wasn't screaming. She might frighten Tyler. She gently took hold on the girl's fingers. "Let me see a minute Ecara." She quickly healed them painstakingly so that the bones would heal right. It took her a few minutes and Niah concentrated on making sure everything turned out alright. When she had finished she dropped Ecara's fingers and went back to her seat. "You can go play Ecara." She just glanced at Aura.

Ecara stared at her fingers again, flexing and wiggling them. She then gave Niah a smile and high pitched giggle. The confusion took her and she looked like she wanted to say something, but didn't know what it was. "Thank." That was all that she got out of Ecara before the girl strolled over and latched to Niah's leg briefly, nuzzling her knee then detaching herself and walking over to stand next to Tyler and join in his staring at Cymarron.

Aura smiled. Seemed it was all going to be fine. All she had to do was keep Ecara oblivious to being able to associate what pain was exactly...and the little wolf girl would be much better off than any normal child, or person for that matter. "Yes Niah?"
