menki disapeared towards the abbey.

By sheer bad luck, the one dummy Menki choose to attack was the very same that had an otherworldly power laid upon it. And it had been activated by the shock of electricity.

Click. Click. Click.

A moment later the dummy wasn't in the same shape as it was before, revealed in a blink and changed greatly. Morphed by the power of the soul imbibed within it, it had increased many times in size, towering over, laden with unpenetrable black armor that covered every inch. And there was a crimson energy gilding it, glowing in a spidery script etched on the armor's surface. But the titan didn't move, waiting. But waiting for what? The clicking sound continued, the steady beat of the titan's mechanical innards working.

The titan somehow sensed the gathering energy of the blade, and it's helmet circled towards Menki. It took him for a threat, and stepped forward, covering so much ground in a single step. The armor ground against each other, and it rose its fist, slow at first. But quickly the titan gained momentum, its huge fist slamming down towards Menki in a whoosh.

Menki's attacks were unfortunately repelled by the black armor, doing no visable damage even if he hit them dead on, and the titan's helmet swivelled again to pinpoint the imp. Like a moving mountain, its fist rose from the little crater it had bashed in the floor, bits and pieces falling away, and the titan aimed again at Menki. There was a boom as it shifted, its foot hitting the ground and it swung horizontally, joints sparking.

The static from the imp had worked successfully, and the titan grinded to a dead halt. The constant clicking coming from within it died down, and it was frozen just as the helmet was turning to find Menki and its arm was still extended from its last attack.

But the bolt had the exact opposite effect then what Menki intended, fueling the machine with more electricity instead of shutting it down for good. Despite the static, the clicking resumed again, speeding up, and the titan moved again. The helmet continued turning towards Menki. It was startling faster then before, and better coordinated. One fist slammed down, and then immediately swung to the side to anticipate Menki's dodge.

Whirrrr ....

Unbelievably ... Menki's words worked. The titan didn't follow up on its attack, and it returned to a neutral stance near the center of the training grounds. The buzz inside slowed to a click and then to silence. It didn't move again, but the armor still glowed maliciously with a pulsing light, flaring every minute or so.
