*sigh* So, knowing my birthday is during Spring Break, I was quick to submit a request for my birthday off as soon as it became available in the system, months ago. ******** pending...and now I'm scheduled to work. Request is still pending, lawl. I'm assuming that a day off qualifies as using "vacation time" which I probably haven't earned yet. I'm not sure wtf is going on though. Emailed my supervisor....but at this point I'm pretty sure the only options available are working my birthday or calling in "sick" again...=/
My tablet should be here wednesday. 3nodding

There is a mouse in my house and it keeps running around in here..X_x..
Have a humane trap set for him, so he can be released after we catch him. But he won't go in it. Guess peanut butter isn't tempting enough.

I don't know if it's funny or if it's sad that the dog eats so much fluff from his toys that it seems IF he had spinnerets, he could weave a damn web.

Anghellic Kitten I don't know if it's funny or if it's sad that the dog eats so much fluff from his toys that it seems IF he had spinnerets, he could weave a damn web. Dogs have died from blockages in their intestines. Just so you know....

So I woke up today, and life was good....Got online and started working out my taxes with my "accountant"....getting $600 back, which is cool. Then I remembered that a check for me should be heading to my parents house, so I went to call my mom to see if it had arrived yet. It hadn't, but she had other news to share with me....
Her: "Has anybody called you yet today?"
Me: "No...should someone have?"
Her: "Well yea....you uncle died this morning."
Me: "....?!"
Was anyone in my family gonna call me at ALL today or was I gonna have to read the obits in the next 2 days to find out? It seems ever since I came back to Vermont my whole family is just like "Yea.....she's there. So?"
If it weren't for my mate and my friends I wouldn't see a reason to even BE back in this state again.....
*sigh* I could use a hug.... cry

Bleh, so Im busy today. Installed new faucet in my bathroom. Hauled out old washing machine. Have to haul in the new one tomorrow or Monday. Currently scrubbing carpet tiles from screened in porch, running conduit and wiring for new outlet for said washer, pulling weeds in the back yard planters, and other miscelaneous stuff.

I am in a bad mood. I had a bad day.
Minor inconveniance: At work they replaced my usual energy drink (I tend to drink one every Saturday) with a different one. Still Sobe, but like...Sobe Gold or something. I assume it has higher levels of caffine or some s**t because unlike the normal Sobe, this one started to make my heart feel funny, and I'm not at all caffine sensative.
Secondly, work sucked. Got the highest amount of bitchy, impatient, nasty ladies I've ever gotten in one day. Whoo. And I was ******** tired, didn't get enough sleep (hence the need for Sobe) and it was really just...I wanted to slap them. Seriously. If you call customer service, ******** listen to the person helping you so they can...you know...help you.
When I got home, there was my..step-neice or whatever. She's staying for the weekend. I cannot stand her. She thinks everything I think is a lie, argues with me, refuses to listen, thinks everything in the world is hers, thinks my (younger) brother has more authority than me, and it's just...grrr! She argued with me about my age for Christ's sake!
"You're 19" "Not unitl next week.." "No, you're 19 now. You'll be twenty" "No really, I'm not going to be 19 until next thursday" "No" "Seriously, I'm 18." "No, you're not!" "Do you want to see my driver's lisense?" "::looks at it:: No, you're 19." -___-; She wouldn't shut up about it. She asked my brother, he confirmed what I said, she decided he was lieing. Then she asked my mom. WTF?! And apperantly, I can't be mad at her since it's not her fault she doesn't know how to interact with people.

Take solace in the fact that it wasn't your fault your step-niece is such a little brat, Shoki.
Fog's dad is still in the nursing home. He'll be there for a week or two, and then we have to find a plastic surgery place that does skin-grafts for his leg. He's really weak, as the antibiotics he's on make him sick to his stomach, and then he had the flu on top of that, so it's coming out the other end too. Poor man....v.v

So I had a rather rude awakening this morning....sometime after 8am, we wake up to someone POUNDING on our window! My mate's friends can't call, or use the door...heavens no, they have to pound on our WINDOW for cryin' out loud! They wanted to kidnap my mate and go out for breakfast. Sounds delightful...guess who's not invited even though one of the friends girlfriends is tagging along, and SHE'S the troublemaker who slept around.... stare
But I'm tired, and frankly I could care less,I just wanna go back to bed. Not happening, apparently, because shortly after he leaves, his mother and HER boyfriends start fighting. Loudly. I TRIED to sleep through it, but again...not happening.
Gah...I hate it here.
Calling hours for my uncle are tomorrow from 2-4 and then again from 5-7...Funeral is Tuesday at 11...and there's a family gathering today at my grand fathers house. Joy of joys, today's been fun so far, and it can only get better..... confused

It appears to me that some people haven't matured to the point of realizing that not everyone is going to side with them or share their opinions. Alot of people have inherently been getting angry with me over the fact that I a. Don't find things like ED to be offensive, and b. I have my own opinions about what is sexy or not. When I explain my side, I get bashed or the person gets pissed off. It's getting tiring to deal with this immaturity. As such, I will be taking a hiatus from the guild. I will still do the artwork I owe, and I will probably still check threads and make a post every now and then, but my active involvement will be fairly null. It's not that we hate that you have an opinion. It's the way you say it. Personally I feel you sound mean, un-sypathetic, hypocritic, and that your opinion is superior to everyone else's.

The last 24 hours have been hell for me. Not because someone has done anything.... except maybe my family, but because my emotions are temeporaly unstable. My family (mainly my eldest sister and mother) have been making that worse with the fact they've been yelling at me for being moody or not doing chores.... when in fact I'm been in my room either doing programming, crying or thinking. Not that they would care too much. But currently my eldest sister is trying to act like she's my mother..... not a good thing.
Luckily, thanks to friends and my mate. I'm becoming more able to control my emotions..... but sooner or later I'm going to breakdown. I know it will happen, it's a matter of when. If I can survive to BWL, I may not break down for a while. BWL is at the end of this month, so it's not too far away. But I'm hoping I can remain in control of my emotions long enough..... tensions are rising in my house.
