"Yes, miss Bastet, where are my manners. I believe they were smiten when Vincent blocked out the sun, and gave me a heart attack..." Nelphean shook his head, that man drew far too much attention to himself, far far too much...

"Good old Sun Shadow. He is a rather odd creature." Nelphean wondered how Bastet would react to that, but passed the thought away, "Ever the great warrior that one is, mighty indeed..."

'I guess that leaves us alone, here outside... Bastet, did I ever tell you how wonderful your eyes glisten?"

"Where I am from, no such pleasure as gaining wealth through marriage. It always remained in the hands of the rightful heir, or the one who stole it."

"Does my charm e'er wear thin, or does my charms lock you e'er in my power?" Too cryptic, too many douple meanings... "Magical astiance I do not use, voice and charisma is all I need."

"You seem less your cheerful self of late, is there anything I can say, or draw, or create that will add some cheer to thee?"

"Damn, I said thee again... Really go to stop reading Shakespear." Nelphean grinned and laughed softly.

"How are you Bastet?"

His eyes fell onto Bast's with a glowing elogence only an elf could muster, and his mouth slowly chanted, "Forever shall our heart be close, ne'er to be seperated. My life is in your hands now, and we must hold fast to our strength. Our days grow numbered, but they shall not end, nor can we hope to be together forever physically, but must allow the passage of time to come and go, to see what awaits our bond. I shall ne'er leave you, and you will always have me close to your hearts." Nelphean kissed Bastet passionately, "I must go for now, but shall return soon."

He vanished, and soom time later, the warmth of his body followed him, and disappeared.

They were alone. Just them. It had been quite some time since it was just them. And in that dank chamber where a single candle shone in the darkness they stared at one another. "I needed to show you, before we tried this power merge....I...I knew you'd hate it...but I couldn't keep it from you. Not this part." Azure eyes looked down upon a mix of chocolate and azure.

She was quiet. Didn't know what to say. A few ventured steps forward and she laid a hand to the side of his face, unsure if her eyes were betraying her or not. Aura was half frightened as well that he was. "Why..."

"Because I want to protect you. I need to. You and everyone else. Let's face it Aurahkah...I can only do so much in on form and then so much more in another." His breathing picked up slightly as he could feel the panic from her.

"Do you intend to leave me then?" Aura didn't know why she asked it, but she did. "I mean...you hardly need me like you used to...and." Verge of tears.

A step forward and he grasped her by her shoulders, his ears lying back against his dark hair. "No. And I do need you like I used to. Please Aurahkah, don't cry. I didn't mean to betray you, I didn't mean to slack out trust...I just...I wanted to be better. Think about it. How many people have we watched fall? How many things could of been done? I appointed myself as Guardian here...yet..." He drew his thief to him, hugging her tightly, resting his head on top of her own. And they both were silent for a moment. "I'm always going to need you. Not just because you hold my life either. You gave me life, you gave me a purpose, you gave me love. I need you, I depend on you."

It was odd yet comforting being hugged by Eclipse. She didn't want to loose him. He was growing up she had to admit that. Even after all these years, but now with a portion of her own soul mixed with his own, and new found powers for both wolf and woman, he was growing up faster than she was into them. "We've always needed each other, no matter who else has come into our lives. For a while...I worried that you thought Vincent would take your place...but he hasn't Eclipse." A soft sigh as she slipped into consideration of the road they were about to go down where the ground was rocky and a mist made all hard to see. "Are you sure you want to do this...what if something happens...

"Nothing bad will happen. You have to trust me. And I want to do this...the ultimate protection to you when you need it most. All you have to do is say yes. You can't be afraid to jump in with your eyes closed...you know I'm there to catch you."

She nodded, and closed her eyes. "Yes." Aura pulled back from him as he shifted back to the form of a wolf, and then geld out her right arm to him, presenting her bracelet which held her soul, and his life. "Ready."

Eclipse gently clamped his jaws on the gold, closing his eyes. "When you are. Just say the words."

And she did, a soft chant in Egyptian. Barely audible, but it was doing it's job none the less. The bracelet's hieroglyphs glowed, then the bracelet itself and then the two attached to the piece of gold. It hurt, the tugging at their very souls, but both only squeezed their eyes tighter to get past it.

Aurahkah sat on the floor, Eclipse sitting next to her as they both looked at the same book. The very one that had contained their soul bond spell, and now provided a higher level in that bond for them both. From the book to the one in front of them their glance bounced back and forth. "It did what it said it was...went perfectly." Setting the book down she made her way over to the figure who lay there on the floor, eyes closed. She picked up the small figure, cradling it in her arms. "Wake up."

Eclipse was still looking back from the book to what had been created from the power that their soul bond wielded. In her arms, Aurahkah held what appeared to be a little girl, maybe about four in age it seemed, dressed in a simple white dress. Her hair was dark, falling down to her shoulders and had deep blue highlights. From within her hair two furry wolfish ears were protruding. She also sported a little blue furred tail and a small pair of black feathered wings. The little one yawned, and small fangs could be seen, then her eyes opened to reveal dual colored orbs. Her left eye brown, her right one blue. "Yes, that's a bond child alright. Mixed traits and all."

She smiled down at the little girl who smiled back up at her. "Morning little one." Standing she brushed a few strands of hair from the girl's eyes. "Hm..you need a name now don't you?" Her gaze went to Eclipse. "You name her, I named you. It's only fair."

Eclipse swished his tail in thought for a moment. Then he chuckled and pawed once at the floor. "I have the perfect name for her. We're both a part of her, and she's a part of us. Ecara. That's her name."

"E-Ecar-ra." She giggled as she got the name out and then again as one hand rested in the crook of Aurahkah's neck as she held on to the woman. Ears flattening slightly she nuzzled Aurahkah's cheek. "Mommy."

"Ecara, it's perfect." She stroked the hair of the girl she was holding, laughing softly. "I guess you could call me that...after all I guess I am. Come on you two, we should get out of these dank vaults."

He was already in teh kitchen, tail lashign back and forth with most of the rest of him in the fridge, followed by sounds of meat tearing from bones, and bones cracking. Cymarron's size and his unusual lifestyle cuase him to need massive amounts of food to sustain himself, and he was going at the fridge with abandon. jars emptied of thier contents lay onteh floor, and paper that was once wrapped around meats as well.

His tail stopped when he heard Bastet's footsteps, and in a flash teh door was closed and he was in a serventile position, hiding a lambs leg behind his back.
