She shrugged, "I was taught to, trained to, and was supposedly modeled after one. I guess I just have not had a reason to change my subtle bliefs yet." She clawed at the ground idly trying to figure out exactly why she still believed it, maybe it was a constant? "And if I believe that they exsisted long ago, then there could be other gods people believe in that exsist now."

Turik slowly wandered the corridors and passageways of the manor, Llew's tiny black head protruding from his pocket, they had seen many things over the past few hours, he could have spent all day in the immesnse library, now he only had left to meet a few of the tenants here at the manor...he headed back towards the entrance, perhaps someone would be back by the fire were he had first talked to the strange creature Ecilpse, after all, it was the ideal place to retire on a day like this.

"My son hears the song of a god. Corellon..."

"How nice it is to sit here with you."

"Yes it is. Your son however, seems to hold faith in a God. Why does he?" She noted that he did not seem to trust them, but asked no further as far as that.

"I don't know." Nelphean said slightly ghostly. "My son has partially forgiven me, as Aurora seems to champion me well. Her mind invades mine, and Ke'Nel can use that to discover me... After five hundred years of hatred, I imagine that he is greatly confused by this turn of events."

Smiling, the elf hugged Bastet. "Alas, only in dark times does the good ever shine so brightly, my family is well, and I am..." Nelphean allowed his thought to linger.

She leaned her head on him and hugged him as well. "That is a start then. And confusion can breed understanding with time, and understanding can bring a happiness as well." She heard him trail off and finished his sentence for him in her head. Hunted? Watched? Content maybe? "And you are what my dear elf?"

"Sweet Bastet, of all the times I should be predictable, this was the most." He chuckled, "What drives my senses to their fullest, and brings me the greatest saticfaction, somethign I have sought often, but ne'er felt but a short breath?" He kissed her softly on the check, "Come now, sweet Bastet, you should know how I feel deep down inside."

Turik walked across the large room to a door that seemed to lead outside, here he found a small group of people conversing. At the sight of them, he walked over, hoping not to interrupt anything private, he slowly thought over each word they spoke to decipher them, when he was sure his presence would not prove interuptive; he stepped out and greeted them; one was a tall woman, she seemed to have a tail, and even a set of ears to go with them. He looked down at Llew, he'd seen odder things...

Bastet turned to whisper into Nelphean's pointed ear. "I make no claim for being an empath, seer, or in anyway even very perceptive to others. However my dear elf, I would say that you seem content admist these dark times, despite your apocolyptic ramblings." She out a hand and placed it over his heart, "And that in your heart, you love all those dear to you unconditionally."

She smiled and twitched her ears as she heard the newcomer, "Hello, I am Bastet. It is nice to meet you Turik."

"Hello Turik, I am the ever lovable Nelphean." The elf bowed his head.

Nelphean whispered into Bastet's ear, "That my dear, is how I am feeling indeed."

Turik laughed "well met, im sure." he turned to Bastet "Hello Bastet," he leaned on his staff, grateful for such welcoming hosts...

"What foreign parts of the multiverse brought thee to our humble, yet always eventful, home?" Nelphean asked somewhat quickly, "Does thou bringest a terriable secret hunting thee into these hallow gates, or does thy journey exert some more significant search, or bounty?"

"Sorry, I have been reading too many ancient texts of late, and had to get that out of my mind."

Her mouth twitched as she shook her head. He infuriated her sometimes, and she could not help but laugh others, thus why she loved him.

Unsure of who he had encountered already she decided to play hostess for the woman still in honeymoon bliss. "I do not know who you have met, but according to the owner of the Manor you can make yourself at home." She elbowed Nelphean lightly, "Do not be so nosy. I wanted to be..."
