Bastet laughed and threw her glass down, "Sure my friend, if you think that then maybe your skills are faultering some." She winked and pointed to Aura, "And we might want to watch out for her stealing things, I've seen her trying to sneak around lately."

"Hey now it's my house and I can steal anything I want." Aura crossed her arms and titled her head up in a snooty gesture. "Yes, let me sneak into your rooms at night and steal things then hoard them under my bed. Aurahkah, tomb robber, there one minute, gone the next with all your stuff."

Bastet gave in to being called mommy and rolled her eyes, "Yes Pheaura, we should go warn everyone else to stay away from mean old Aura who wants to take their stuff." SHe looked over to Aura, "And she admits it."

"I'll just steal it back from you," Pheaura said under her breath. "I mean I have the power to do so." Her voice rose to it's normal level again. "If you steal it then I can be like Robin Hood and take it back. Steal from the rich and give to the poor. And Bastet here can be my Little John."

"Yes I admit it and I'd do it a hundred times over, too." She laughed coyly then looked to Phea. "And I heard that! And what rich? Rich is far from what I am." She stood pointing to Phea. "Then come Robin Hood, face the the evil thief!" She then looked to Bastet. "You two Mommy Little John, face me!"

Aura shrugged. "it's the lack of sleep. Believe me I was much scarier in Egypt. I was know to make a grown man fall to his knees in fear...then again Eclipse was growling at him after all...but that's another story! They didn't call me Kamenwati for nothing! And for your information, I wasn't scary as a priestess, just a b***h."

Bastet shook her head as her shoulders shook themselves with mirth, "Mommy in charge downgraded to little John the side kick." She shrugged, "Oh well as long as I still get to defeat things with sharp pointy objects I'm fine." SHe frowned a bit looking at her Egyptian friend, "Aura, you really should sleep or something."

Pheaura nodded, "You would look much scarier if you had some sleep. I would believe you if you challenged me then. But I can not fight you. Eclipse needs you to stay alive and well. Especially after that fusing thingy."

"Oh sleep, thine friend that is both far and distant." She sighed then laughed, running a hand through her hair. " Are you kidding me? I can go four days without sleep and I'm only coming up on day two." She held up two fingers to demonstrate. "And it's not a fusing thingy, it's highly complicated spirit synthesis." She quickly tried to cover an yawn. Aura then perched herself on the edge of the table, leaning back on her hands. "To sleep perchance to dream." She giggled. "I hated that man..."

Sure she could go four days without sleep, but she never said she had to be sane during those days. If you either had her up enough or got her liquored up, Aura was quite amusing. "And Bastet was never in a bag."
