May Li How man volumes is FY? i read vol 12 were she said vol 13 should be the last. but but i've seen vol 16 There're 18 volumes in total.

I didn't see the OVA but i did read the last volume.
The vow was was my fav chapter...so romantic...Miaka and Tamahome making love...aww.

Taka and Miaka consummate their love for one another. Miaka sacrifices herself and dies when "Tama" tries to kill Taka and Taka embraces Tama, realizing that they're one and the same. "Tama" along with Tamahome's memories as a 7seishi gets reabsorbed back into Taka.
Maika and Taka get married--the end.>> Well... there is my shitty shorthand version, going by what little I remember from the books.
