Hikari didn't reply. Instead, she..sniffled? Was Hikari crying? She looked away, wiping her eyes with her now free hand. She hadn't let anyone see her cry, let alone herself really.

Kid blinked a bit and dropped Hikari's hand. " Hikari...Are..You...I didn't meant to make you upset. I just wanted you to stop acting...so..Mukuroish." Kid said and moved a bit.

Hikari shook her head, wiping her eyes again, but it wasn't really stopping the tears at this point. "I just...w-wanna go ho-home." She didn't know what else to really say about it. Hikari to watch all these people here in human world have what she couldn't anymore, and it hit a sore place like a twisting knife.

The people around you know. Are pretty much like your new home. We wouldn't let you ever get hurt and we are always around." Kid said and moved a bit." you just gotta give us a chance. . . "

Hikari cried into Kid's shoulder when she gave her a hug. She wasn't sure how much of that she could believe though. Genkai, Kid, Yukina, Yusuke and Kurama, maybe. But Hiei and Akuro, Hikari was pretty sure hated her a pretty good deal. She calmed down after a little bit, giving a small, quiet nod.

"Ignore Hiei, he get's bitter a lot lately because of his year mission. . .and Akuro is a sex additive vampire. But Yoh I'm sure love having you around. . Give it time and i'm sure Hiei and akuro will like you." Kid said with a nod. Moving a bit she rubbed Hikari's back and looked down at Ruka and patchy before stepping on Ruka. " Blah! Kid lift your foot, it smells bad!" Ruka mumbled.

Hikari just gave another slow nod of compliance again. Then, she blinked, looking down. "...You're squishing your drift wood."

"That's fine it's only Ruka. And his stupid." Kid said before she knelt down picking up the puppets, Patchy moved toward her back and hung on as she held Ruka. " Shall we head back slowly?" Kid asked.

Hikari wiped her eyes one last time with her sleeves. "Mm." She'd head back to the temple now. Hikari just hoped that her eyes wouldn't be red and puffy by the time they got back.

Kid smiled and started to walk back with Hikari and shifted a little. " Now....let's throw water balloons at Hiei from the roof. Everything set up from it." Kid said with a chuckle.

Hikari blinked slightly when she heard that. She shouldn't have been surprised, though. "Can we do that?"

"...That works." Maybe this would be fun. Hikari hadn't done anything with water balloons in forever and a day. And they were at a festival, right? It was meant to have at least some fun.

Kid took hikari's hand and headed behind the temple before climbing up to the roof and walked toward the big garbage can of water baloons and smiled. " ReadY?" She asked looking at Hikari and looked over at teh edge to see Kurama and Hiei also Yusuke sititng there with tea and coffee still snaking away.

Hikari followed after Kid, climbing onto the roof, seeing the garbage can filled with water balloons. "Set." She picked up one of the water balloons, bouncing it up and down in her hand.
