TakeoKamiyo ((If you would like my option I can give it. THe speed of light is unreachable except by two things. That would be light of course and schlar waves. Schlar waves are only theory anyway and haven't been proven by anybody. They can only move that way because they are both a particle and a wave at the same time. The human body is a particle and if it moved at the speed of light then the molecules that made up your body would rip apart. And the second reason humans can't move at the speed of light is that their reaction time is not good enough. Electricity has the potential to move almost as fast as the speed of light if in a perfect conductor (which doesn't exsist by the way) and even then it can't reach it. Since the human body uses electricity to convey movements to the muscles the brain would think of it and you would be a a hundred meters past where you first thought of the movement. Sorry I'm a physics major and I just thought htis would help.))

( Not only that but the reaction time would be slowed even more so by the chemical receptors between each nueron.
However i must make a point in that we are in a fictional world that is not based on the laws of physics as much as the real one and that Kura is not a human, he is a hybrid of legendary creatures. Just thought i would point that out.)

((Well, even if he can handle it the arena can't. Going really fast has ramifications on the environment around him. Air friction and wind drag would rip apart anything known and since he is made from legendary creatures it might not kill him and if it didn't the oxygen in the air would burst into flames. And while this wouldn't kill a pheonix the shockwave from the explosion would turn a metal into small fragments.
I don't want to really argue this though. I'm sorry but I just figured people should know.))

Takeo stood up from his seat in the arena and headed towards the exit. Nothing really interesting was really happening but maybe he could find something in the forest that would be fun.

Getting up, Rivven decided it was time to go. The fight seemed to be over, and no one else was fighting, so there was no more advantage to sitting in the stands. If the tournament was full of people like them, it would be much more difficult than he anticipated. He had expected to breeze through, but perhaps this would take some effort. He undid the buttons on his waist length white coat, letting some heat out, and strode out the exit.

Sakura walked out of the white darkness and made her way into the stadium, hoping at least something interesting was going on. As she entered the arena, she saw that no battles was going on and was disapointed.
"Aww..nothing happening.." she murmured as she rubbed her fingers againt her black ribbon. Her long lavender hair which was still up in a side ponytail swayed with the beats of the wind as she looked around somemore, noticing only a few people were actually here.
She slowly walked towards a bench to sit down for a while, until a fight can get going. Though, she is entered into the tournament she was worried about her other self. Mostly worried about transforming into her sister, who is a Phantom thief. As she sat down all her childhood memoir played inside her head, smiling though her past was awful and full of isolation, she couldn't help but miss her cousins.
She carefully pulled out her Tarot cards from her pants pocket and shuffled them, she wanted to know her fate for today. As she shuffled her Tarot cards Sakura hummed a song she learned from her childhood, a haunting song.

Charles looked up as he saw someone new enter the arena.
Was this the guy I'm supposed to fight? Hrm... better wait to make sure, see what he does; I'd rather not waste my energy if I don't need to.

Slowly Kura walked from the darkness of the gates and strode to the bleachers. He sat down slowly to watch and wait for this fight. He knew the winner already, but he wished to see the outcome of it...it would definately be interesting to see how it came about to the conclusion...

*Star walks down and leaps into the arena and lookms around seeing kura from before and another man. He looks back between the two and stops looking at the second man* I take it your my opponent? I'm not sure who i was paired with before I came here. *Keeps his hands inside his coat pocket his sword resting on his back.*

Shifting his weight, the Chauffeur examined his opponent. "Well, if your name is Star, then you and I have a match ahead of us."
Without waiting for confirmation Charles stood and entered the fighting area of the arena. Smiling he asked, "Well, shall we get started, Speedy?"

*takes hsi hands out of his pockets showing he has finger less gloaves on as he pops his fingers and then put them back where they where hanging his head to where his hair covered his eyes. Star's coat flapped in the wind as he smiled* Sure thing....You go first.....

Without hesitation he threw a dagger in the direction of where Star was located, as well as hurl another in the projected path of where this hasty man could have possibly dodged.

*STar looks up at the dagger and smiles setting it on fire hot enough to melt it. Making it plosh in front of him.* Some of my spells can be fun to toy with...too bad that one is close range....But this one isn't...*Star removes his left hand even througfh the glove a magic circle can be seen glowing as he holds his palm towards CHarles*. Fimbulvetr!!! *Suddenly the wind spins around Charles ice blue in color as Ice suddenly forms attempting to incase himbefore it shatters each piece razor sharp.*

Sakura walked out of the white darkness and leaned on a wall, watching closly at the battle going on, hoping that they would finish soon. The sooner, the faster her battle comes. She was eager to fight, and has new tricks up her sleeves.
What a lovely day it is thought the angelic creature as she focused her gaze up at the baby blue sky, not returning her attention to the battle since its none of her concern.
