Strolling over she poked at the pendant around Bastet's neck. "That a certain mock goddess was witnessed to be cradled in the arms of a certain elf...and looked rather happy, and...were way to friendy to be 'just friends' anymore. You going to spill on your own? Or must we tip you over?"

Nailah grabbed Bastet's arm to keep her from escaping. "Leaving so soon? But we just started talking. And no Bastet you know very well that in this manor you can't sleep together without everyone taking it as you're together." It's about freaking time! They've only been here for months! Lord I htought I was gonna have to play matchmaker.

She let out a low growl and shook her head, oh well she should have expected it after the teasing and proding she had given out. Though she wish a barrier would fly up between her and Niah, it did not seem to want to happen. "Yes, there is your confirmation. By the way, he is very romantic, the only one for quite some time who can really get to me, by bugging me or other methods. He apparently wishes to spoil me." She nodded again to the trinket. "Among other things, his arms are comfortable to nestle into though really, sleeping in the main hall so not much could happen there you know, with the amount of people wandering around in the Manor."

Smiling she judged Nailah's strength and very quickly broke free of her grip, in the process spinning her around a few times. She winked at her, "See you later my good friends, sorry I doubted you, but it did not seem possible, and Aura, sorry. I guess you will just have to ask me later."

"One heck of a catch is right. But we knew he was quite a charmer." She shook her head. "I always wondered if he would get serious about someone or just flirt the rest of his life. I'm kind of glad it's her."

"He's an elf all right." Niah watched Aura go and thought about taking a nap but she wasn't sleepy. "I'm happy for you Bastet. You deserve someone. Everyone deserves to be happy." Niah sighed and got up to leave the kitchen. She made her way to her room and plopped onto her bed grabbing one of the books beside her, she began to read.

Niah heard the strains of music drifting from a distant wing of the manor. She listened closely and then stood up wondering where it was coming from. After wandering around for a little while she finally found the room. She looked in and saw Nelphean playing a beautiful piano. She listened to the music and closed her eyes waiting for him to finish.

Niah stood there for a while listening to the elf's story and the music."That's quite a story. Perfect for a romantic like me but a baker, not a very good job." Finally seh walked into the room and smiled at the elf. "Quite the multitalented elf aren't you?" She wondered how much she could say. She didn't know if he knew that she knew yet or not. "That pendant was quite beautiful. Mind if I ask where it came from?" She litstend to the crash of the music and could almost see it. She smiled at Nelphean "I'm fine. How are you?"

Nailah raised her eyebrows at the elf's comment. "I find Alex gets upset if I accept gifts from other men. He has a serious jealousy issue but don't tell him I told you that." She waited a few minutes and then took a seat next to him on the bench. She traced her fingers over the keys briefly and then said "I learned to play a long time ago. But I haven't played in so long. I still miss it sometimes though." She turned to look at the elf and studied him for a moment. She would have sensed him out but was a little afraid of what she might find. Dozens of sentences rose to her mind but none of them seemed to say what she wanted to so desperately. She was happy for Bastet but she didn't want her to get hurt. She knew firsthand how devastating it could be and she wouldn't wish it on her worst enemy. "So Nel, besides dazzling me with your musical skills. What else have you been up to?"
