Nailah grabbed a bunch of towels and walked back into the hall. Getting down on her hands and knees she started to wash up the floor. She grumbled the whole time muttering things that sounded like "Shoot and Ra....kill...damn....gods...." She wiped up all the footprints and sat back on her heels to survey the hall. Then she noticed she had missed some spots. She narrowed her eyes at the spot where mud had smeared and glared at it as though a mere look would make it disappear. It didn't and she walked over to it on her knees and vigorously wiped it up. When she was done she had muddy towels and sore knees. "There Aura. Your precious floor is clean!" she yelled. "Hope your happy.." she muttered under her breath.

Niah came walking into the kitchen fuming. "I am not in a bad mood...well maybe I am. But I wasn't! I wasn't until Ra decided it should rain. And of course it picks the exact moment I'm outside to just pour. So I get soaked and then do you think I could get back here without slipping in the damn mud? No. Ra hates me too much for that. He decided ot play with me. So I fell like four times in the mud! Four times! Then I finally get inside this place, which looks like it ocmes straight out of some horrible novel where everyone dies by the way, and all I get is crap about how I need to clean up the damn mess. And furthermore...why did you clean up the library. I was gonna do it! You shoudl have let me finish it. There wasn't even that much more to do!" she finished her tirade adn stood there hands on hips glaring.

a loud crack resounded through the courtyard, resulting with Shin flat on her back, panting, the end of the mand Bo staff at her throat.

"Do you now?"

She grinned, knocking his staff away and using it as a lever to trade places with him, flipping hom over, as she stood, now holding both weapons.

"Yup."

"I am in 'duh' happy mode. Happy to be married, happy to be in love, happy to be home, happy to be back with you all. I"m just restless because of a little of my thinking to hard again habit." Shrugging it off she leaned back against the counter on her elbows. "Hey, it was Vincent's idea..."

Niah nodded. "What did I tell you about that? No thinking too hard." She laughed once at how absurd that sounded and then raised an eyebrow. "Vincent's idea...I should have known. He is related to that infuriating brother of his. And that man comes up with some wild ideas himself..." She looked up and smiled as Bastet came in the room. "Hey Bastet. I'm fine...got al ittle wet earlier but now I'm warm and dry."

"You get wet a lot around here, and those brothers are always trying to infuriate you. They want a reaction." She realized this, yet she let herself be infuriated herself. Narrowing an equaly knowing gaze at Aura, "What exactly do you mean?"

"Vincent doesn't try to infuriate me in the least...I believe that territory belongs all to Alexander." Nodding slightly in confirmation then with hands now clasped behind her back she was 'casually' walking around. "Oh you know...that overly happy feeling that is induced by a certain someone..." A coy smile. Oh yes, she knew.

"Ugh...girl talk...I'm out of here. Besides I need to go see Kali about something." Slipping off the counter he gave them all a mock bow and then a bark before strutting out of the kitchen.

Niah smiled. She knew but she didn't want to say anything. "You know it's funny. I've been getting an extra dose of hte happiness lately. Like it's coming from two people instead of just one. Would you know anything about that Bastet?"
