Not everyone should or needs to be a warrior. And, simply but, violence brings more violence. It would be tragic for you to waste your true talents on the slaying of men. " He sighed a bit and shrugged. "I agreed to teach you because you asked, and I really cant say no to you. But, make no mistake. Anything about using swords to protect people is just kids talk. The sword is a weapon meant to take life. The art of swordsmanship is learning how to kill." "I happen to prefer to the kiddy talk is all." Ana nodded thoughtfully. Did she really want to learn to kill? Even in defence? How would something like that change her? "I...think I understand. I need to think about it some more before I decide what I want." She smiled at him, a bit of a teasing tone in her voice. "I guess you're just stuck protecting me a while longer then."

"I don't care if you where gaia's top assassin. That wouldn't stop me from trying to protect you. Besides, think of all that wasted energy during training that could be used for something else. Like naked twister or something." He smiled teasingly. "Any decision you make I'll back. Just do what you think is right." Angel closes his eyes and slowly goes back to his studies." It's part of his studying. xd Night!)) Ana chuckled a bit and then relaxed into Angel's arms. It had been a long, emotionally difficult day, but the comfort of his prescence quickly helped wash any pent up tension away. Smiling softly, she closed her eyes and the sleep she had been looking for earlier finally found her.

Ana opened her eyes and stretched. She lay for a moment, savoring the warmth of Angel beside her, before carefully climbing out of bed. She took a shower and then, feeling lazy, put her night shirt back on.
Walking out to the living room, she sat on the couch, a thoughtful expression on her face. She was thinking about what she and Angel had talked about the night before. She wanted to learn to defend herself. But she really want to learn to kill? She sat on the couch, feet curled up under her, looking off into space, thinking.

After a long time, Ana finally stirred, as if waking from a dream. The thoughtful expression was replaced by one of certainty. She had made her decision. She nodded to herself and picked up a book, settling into the couch to read, as she waited for Angel to wake up.

Ana put her book down and stood up. Angel should be waking up soon and she decided she'd surprise him with a nice, fresh breakfast. She went to the bedroom, got dressed and then headed to the kitchen, humming to herself. After looking through her supplies, she decided on Belgian waffles, bacon, eggs and fresh fruit.
She smiled to herself as she began fixing breakfast. She had always hated cooking and other "domestic" chores when she had been married to Alexander. But now, with Angel, it just felt...right. She turned on the radio, keeping the volume low, and quietly sang along as she fixed thier breakfast.

Ana smiled as one of her favorite songs came on the radio. She hadn't heard it in ages. She turned up the radio and started singing along as she continued to make breakfast.

Angel walks sleepily into the kitchen area. "So that's the lyrics." he yawns deeply, "I always thought it was, sing us a song. Mr. Yellow man. I couldn't figure out why he was yellow." He walked up behind her and kissed her on the cheek.

She fixed them both plates and put them on the table along with various toppings and condiments. Then she went to the counter and poured two cups of coffee, adding a fair amount of sugar and cream to her own. She handed Angel his cup, bent down and kissed him lightly. "Need anything else?"

Ana smiled at Angel across the table. "It wasn't any trouble. I...like having the chance to take care of you for once." She blushed a bit and hid her face in her coffee cup. After a moment she looked back up at Angel and spoke softly. "I thought about what we talked about last night. You know...whether or not I wanted to learn to fight."

Ana took a breath. "I want to be able to defend myself if I need to. But I don't think I could...kill anyone. Not intentionally." She gave a wry laugh. "I couldn't even kill Alexander when I had the chance. How could I kill anyone else? I think I'd...have to change too much to be able to do something like that." She looked at Angel, her expression solemn and certain. "I don't want to learn to kill."
