Kageko waited patiently behind Luo. On her left shoulder sat her raven, Kuro, who had managed to spot Kageko while she was walking through the village and had promptly decided to land on her shoulder and caw at her with irritation for having left to Mist without telling him. A couple of apologies managed to calm the raven down, but he still looked slightly miffed about the lack of information. Around both Kageko and Luo was a strangely colored bird and a small dog, both of them also seemed to be waiting for the Hokage.
(OOC: I don't think the hokage even has a clone in the office....)

The Blissful Storm A clattering noise could be heard as a man came up the stairs of the building. Reaching the top the man carried on down the hallway to the hokage's door. As he reached the door he saw to shinobis at the door one familiar but one foreign. "The Hokage's not in at the moment." Raito said as he came to a hault his armor still hitting against his musculure, agile build.

Kageko turned from the window that she was staring curiously out of at the sound of the clattering noise. To her surprise she saw a man in... armor? To make things even more confusing, the girl was certain that he was one of the sannin, Raito Shenzaki, of her village. the girl couldn't help but wonder to herself as she tried to figure out why a ninja would be wearing something as noisy as armor. However, she made sure that her face showed nothing impolite, maybe a bit of confusion but nothing impolite, as she asked, "Then may we know where the Hokage is?". After the first question, Kageko then pointed out of the window she had been staring at and continued, "Also, why is there a huge gorge cutting across the training grounds? I didn't see it the last time I was in the village." Seeing how they were on the top floor of the tower, it would make sense for the girl to be able to see the gorge that now sliced across the training area. It would also make sense for her to be worried that the huge gash was the result of an attack on her village.

Akira walked up the stairs to his tower and his new office. As he walked closer he sensed that Raito was here along with another. He continued to walked as he reach the top of the stairs. As he came into view, he wore a Black headband that was tilted to the left to cover his byakugan in his right eye. He also had armor as it was now require by all Chunnin and upper ranked shinobi of the Leaf. His armor was Silver with a black thigh plate, belt, and scarf across his neck. Scarlet Thunder, his Halberd staff, sat on his back as he took it off and approached the young lady in the room. "I take it you have come to see me. I am sorry if I kept you waiting, but as you can see..." He said referring to the gorge in the training grounds. "Things have arose, but it is covered. Anyway, shall we talk in my office" He said as he opened the door for her.

Before Kageko recieved an answer, the hokage walked in with... armor as well? the girl thought to herself as she wondered since when the shinobi in her village had started wearing armor. Other than the armor, Kageko's was also perked by the interestingly colored headband the hokage was wearing, which immediately warranted the thought, "Good to see you Lord Hokage," the girl greeted while she took in what she saw Akira wearing and politely waited for Luo to enter before her.

Walking in politely to the office, Luo's clone smiled a bit as it held its hand out. "I am Luo Ushio of the mist village, the Yondaime Mizukage. It is a pleasure as always to formally meet with the Hokage however busy he may be." As Luo surveyed the man with a smile, he wondered why the metal was necessary for all higher ranking shinobi. To him, it seemed to hinder movement and stealth, and even act as a lightning rod for electricity. But it was this man's village now, and Luo didn't like to question people's decisions especially if he just met them.

Kageko walked in after Luo and waited patiently in the background as the two kages spoke. She would speak when she needed to, but until then, she would remain quiet. By now, she had managed to figure out that the armor was probably required of all higher-ranking shinobis and, now that she thought about it, she had seen a couple other shinobis walking around the village in the same get-up. the girl thought to herself mentally while her face remained polite and focused on the conversation at hand, which she was, Despite her misgivings, her outer body showed no obvious signs of her inner thoughts, a trick that she had managed to perfect, somewhat, through talking with Kami constantly.

Akira shook his hand. "Yes, I know who you are." Akira then walked around and took his seat. "Well, to what do I owe this pleasure too?" He said as he lend forwards cupping his hands togather.

Nodding, Luo sat down in a chair near to him, a bit surprised to see his reputation preceding him so quickly. "Well, I have no idea what happened to Hanzo, but with the changing of kages I have mandated that the mist renew contracts with allied villages. Normally, I would do this in the form of a formal signed contract only, however I have something else to ask of you. Kageko here has been my student since she was a genin. I've trained her personally for eight months now, and have accepted her as an apprentice for the mist seven under myself. As an apprentice, part of her duties will be to reside with me and remain by my side at all times unitl her apprenticeship is over. As such, I am offering a formal contract as well as Kageko's apparent internship under myself in the mist village as a contract to keep peace between both of our villages. I figure in having somewhat of a living contract for peace between villages, our alliance will not be taken as lightly as a piece of parchment paper. So in essence, I have come to renew our alliance, and ask that Kageko remain with me in Kirigakure until she is released from her formal training. At which point, you will have a shinobi under your charge as capable as any of the other famed mist seven swordsmen." As he finished speaking, the clone produced a formal contract renewal and a pen, sliding across the desk. It was a smart move in all honesty for both villages. In having Kageko as part of the alliance, it would solidify that in the even Konoha was ever attacked by an imposter of the mist, they would have a trusted shinobi of theirs under the charge of the Mizukage himself whose word could prove whether or not Luo issued the attack. In doing this, Luo ensured that the mist village's name would be clear of any accusation if the time ever came.

"Of course. I was soon going to go greet previous allied village's myself. I would be glad to continue our relations and Kageko's apprentice ship." Akira grabbed the pin as he signed the contract. "Now, Kageko, can you excuse us for a moment, I have something I would like to discuss."
