Dawn stopped just outside her classroom and looked down the hall towards Genju's retreating form and sighed quietly and, on a second thought, turned away from her classroom and made her way towards the entrance of the school. As she walked down the steps, she passed by a few senoirs smoking behind some trees. From the radio that rested next to their feet, a few lines from a song floated out to her.

She winced and blocked out the words and headed towards another more thicker line of trees and pulled out her key to her territory. Within monets, a strong gust of wind had formed and she was gone only to appear beneath one of the willows of her in front of a large grave marker with two different sets of names; small blossoms from the surrounding wisteris framing the cold stone and gave the air around it a teasing scent. Her parents graves. Dawn walked forward and fell to her knees in front of it and placed a hand over her parents names. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry..." she whispered. She closed her eyes and curled up into a ball against the grave and cried, every hateful thing she had said, every murder she had commited, every moment she sacrificed for her family pouring forth from her body in the forms of tears and falling into the forgiving soil of the earth.

Sage found himself utterly content at the moment, the day was beautiful as was the woman curled against his chest sleeping. Even after the bell had rung, telling him they where late he didn't dare to wake her. He had let her convince him to eat in the tree rather then under it, and now here they where nestled in the branches comfetably. The only way one could rally see them was if they where just under them so it wasn't like a teacher or someone that would get them into trouble would see them, he ran his fingers gently over her head.

A change in the wind brought a strange sent to Sage's nose, they where being watches. And according to the scent, they had been their for a while, if the wind hadn't changes he would have not noticed. He allowed a low growl to warn the 'spy' they had been noticed.

'Strange how you would think one of your own is a threat' the voice entered his mind causing his hackles to raise slightly.

'Weres have turned on weres before, why should I trust you?'

'Because I am not apart of the Night World, I am merely curious as to why both a Renford would also be interested in this girl, she is a human after all.'

Sage resisted the urge to growl once more as he looked over Alex, she hadn't moved but he had a feeling she was awake. 'The vampire simply interested in her because she told him off'

'And your interest?'

After a moment he replied honestly, 'She is my soulmate'

It was the growl that had woke her, but she waited till his tension melted before she spoke. "What is it love?" Her voice was heavy with sleep, but she was clearly able to see part of his face from her spot agaisnt his shoulder.

He turned kissing her forhead tenderly, "Nothing to worry about, we just had a witch curious about us."

Alex's reply was to give a soft smile and close her eyes snuggling back into his arms.

It was late in the evening when Aslynn recieved the inteligence report from one of her teammates. There was lists of the new students for the year each not all that interesting. Except that one being a kitsune shifter, who seemed to be a bit of a pretty boy. She idely wondered how Ash was handeling that he was no longer the object of the fangirl's worship. There was a drop in attendence with Diedra, but that was in the norm for her though she was last seem with a boy. That the report describe has having pecularly messy hair. Aslynn arched a brow at this notation, they all had read the mission taken my Keller's team. They had dealt with a dragon, a boy that looked as if he was meticulous about being neat yet his hair was messy to hide the horns on his forehead.

Aslynn sighed, they would need to get more info on this boy, if he was a dragon he could potential pose a threat to Circle DayBreak. She looked over the rest of the report mentionings of Dawn having skipped the later part of her classes. Sage and Alex also having missed their afternoon classes, and last seen in the courtyard tree according to her report. Ash's activities are rather below the radar, as thus far he has been acting as the typical pretty boy teen. Its only in the darkest parts of town that his true self is shown, fangs and all.

Sage had just dropped Alex off at home not long ago, he idely place his keys on his nighstand. He had been turning over what she had said about wanting to be able to fend for herself, especially if he couldn't be their. His heart ached with the thought he wouldn't there for her when she needed him, but he wouldn't let his pride fool him into thinking he was enough to keep her safe. The only thought that ensured she would be stronge enough to fight off someone from the NightWorld was to have her join the clan. In doing so she would be changed as well as recognized by the clan as his mate, the only catch was would she be willing to give up her humanity to be with him. Sage let out a sigh, he would just have to ask her tomorrow and if she said yes they would talk with his parents.

Alex wandered idely through her house, she had already finished with straightening her room as well as some minor cleaning. And was bored out of her mind, she didn't exactly want to be alone tonight, but she had wanted to think a few things out herself. Like the soulmate bond between her and Sage, and about Ash's strange behavior. She was getting a feeling that something was up, that he would not take this rejection lightly. This thought led her to start pacing the living room, she hadn't even turned on the TV, but strangely she could hear the sound of voices. Dismissively she pegged it as her parents having their's on in they're room, which meant. She cringed outwardly taking her mind away from 'that' thought.
