A light at the end of the tunnel!
So friday i was all set to be induced ..yay!.. or not. I had to have an amnio just to make sure baby's lungs were ready... he had to score a 50 or more.. test comes back ... 26! gonk Amnio's are no cake walk..Pin p***k my butt! It was kinda funny though because he's so big and squished it took over a half hour and 2 doctors and a sono tech to find a big enough pocket of fluid lol. So now induction date is set for July 31st. I have to go in at 7PM for that cervical stuff then bright and early the next morning they'll start the Pic drip. Apparently im one of those lucky people who never just spontaneously goes into labor. So my job from now till then is NOT to go into labor lol. They said its very unusual for his lungs to be so underdeveloped at this point (especially since he's so big!) so making sure i make it to the 39 mark ..which is when they're inducing me is very important.My doctor is a bit concerned because of his size. At last visit (wed) he was close to 8 lbs eek so whats another week and a half gonna do! They said if he doesnt engage right or im in too much pain (my Pelvic seperation and SI joint dysfunction has made me just about an invalid) they'll just have to do a C-section. Im in so much pain but the GERD and nausea have calmed down and the past few days ive felt like an eating machine sweatdrop On a side note where'd everyone go!?!? This place use to be buzzing with news and questions lol.

Oh Monkey, I hope everything goes well. I'm sure things will all work out and everything will be just fine. Although the pain must be terrible to have to go through.

On a note to my pregnancy, last week I started going through all this pain in my butt. And I couldn't figure out what it was, I thought maybe it was just all the extra weight being forced back on my tailbone. Haha, silly me. stare When my entire area down there swelled shut for an entire day, I kinda got the hint that something was wrong. Its a pain not to be able to go to the bathroom properly. So I go to the doctor, and they iced me down so they could see what was wrong. I apparently have a vericose (sp?) vein in just the right spot that if irritated too much, will cause everything to swell shut. I was all "great, as if I didn't need to deal with yet another thing." But at least it wasn't something more serious. But they have me, literally, sitting on ice packs every night till I go to bed. Which is very cold. blaugh

My goodness, I was only gone for 2 weeks and everyone has popped!! sweatdrop Well, almost everyone. ^_^

I can't wait for my little one to come. I wanna hold him so bad.

Nothing new on the baby front. Had my most recent checkup, and everything is all hunky dory with the baby and me. Although, my OB says she wants my stress level to come down.

Anyone know what the yes/no ration is on getting approval to go on say a 4 hour car trip when you're about 36 weeks pregnant??

sad Yeah I have a feeling that's what it would be. I just really want to travel out to my husband's duty post around the 20th for his unit's Family Day. I missed last year's due to school. And I was really excited about this one, but then with all the complications with the pregnancy....I dunno, wishful thinking I suppose. sweatdrop

Goodness, everything is just happening so fast around here. Had my 34 week appt/ today and she says everything is going just perfectly. She did say she's not sure if I'll make it full term. She said with my small body frame, that there isn't a lot more grwoing room for my little guy. She said she'd be surprised if I made it past 37/38 weeks maximum. But that if I made it to term, all the better.

And hey! She said I could go to AJ's family day!! I'm so excited, its actually on my birthday, so my big birthday present this year will be to see my husband while he's gone. ^_^ Although she made the stipulation that I couldn't go alone. I had to have someone with me driving. Which still works.

I'm so excited about everything!!!

Oh ok. Yeah they did the swab on me yesterday. They weren't supposed to do it until next Friday, but I've been having all these really painful "cramps" this past week. So they had me come in just to make sure everything was okay. Turns out my hip has been pelvic bone has been popped out of alignment and my little one is sitting really low.

So I have to go find a doctor to fix that, cuz every time I walk, everything pops in and out. Not the most pleasant feeling in the world.

But yeah they went ahead and did the swab on me yesterday but they haven't done any blood tests on me as of yet. But I know they were planning a lot of things for next Friday for my 36 wk appt.
