"Shes excited because you skipped town without warning. She was quite upset that she didnt get to prepare your wedding for you, and now you pay the price, Mrs. Voladu. Want me to make her go away?" Saradin cracked his knuckeles in mock entusiasm before returning to cooking. Flame erputed from one pan as Saradin knowingly lit the ingredients on fire, a flashy show that needed all his attention for a few minutes.

Seemed it was her turn in the teasing ring again. "How sweet, you're threatening to hurt people for me." Aura allowed herself a brief laugh as she watched Niah getting lost in he own little happy land. "I think she'll survive. Seems so anyway." She watched him a few more moments. "So...how have things been with you Saradin. Hadn't seen much of you before I 'skipped town' as you like to deem."

This man didnt even deserve to die beside her in bed, even if she wanted it. The filth's life would end painfully for her amusement. Almost every fiber of her was back to her old self as her hand wrapped around his mouth while he wrenched in pain, blood flowing from the first bite on his shoulder while her body pressed against his. Take your fill, its a good start for you. You cant go back now. "Well and unwell, as per usual. I'm myself forever it seems. But nothing of great importance to report." The miniature inferno was quelled and the food put aside with most of everything else, he was actually done and it surprised even him. "I think Ive managed to cook enough food for a week in the last couple hours."

Eclipse gave a snort. Both at question and answer. Aurahkah still didn't remember what had happened the three days before she had left, and she had seen Saradin then. Though Saradin had been in a rather down mood then. "You say a week Saradin Phoenix, I say three days."
"Because you eat most of it." Shaking her head she didn't even look to the wolf but latched onto Saradin's answers. "I don't think we'd have you any other way really. But at least it seems nothing catastrophic has happened with you. And you still have all your limbs, that's always a good thing."

Saradin stared at Eclipse with accusation in his eyes. "Oh dont worry, Im not letting that happen. The pet eats a rationed amount, no more for the doggie." Laughing just vaguely, he dismissed the idea and sat down with a mug of coffee and a plate holding toast, just toast. What may have been the perfect, Saradinesque incarnation of toast, but still just toast. "Catastrophe can be that nothing came of what happens. Seems things change either painfully quick, or numbingly slow. Elias isnt dead at least."

Elias dying. He himself had mentioned it to, yet it sounded half foreign to her. She didn't remember that...funny she usually did. Aura just shook it off, her 'go with the flow' attitude of late letting her drift freely of any possibly troubling thoughts. "As I've heard and seen. New look to him as well, and a few new companions it seems." She herself took a seat at the table, enjoying her kitchen company. "And it seems they always come at those speeds at the most inopportune times, too."
He looked up from his spot on the floor. "How cruel, snatching my snacks away like candy from the hand of a babe..." He shook his head in dramatic fashion. "Rationed..."

In the dark corner of an even darker club, Idalla's arm was snaked around the back of his shoulder then up around his head before it gripped his mouth shut while she leaned him into the wall. She had seen the way he treated others, to her his agony felt righteous as she moved up his neck, biting again and again, taking small samples of his blood while thieving his very essence while onlookers saw nothing untypical for the area, unable to witness the blood leaving his body. His strength was just beginning to fade, but she was trying to slate herself as quickly as possible and it wouldnt be long before he would be dead. Your withered heart cant beat any longer, how long before you kill again? With one bite, Saradin took away a chunk of bread, making a perfect number of crumbs fall off from what remained, seeming to only make it more appetizing as he chewed. "I dont know much about his companions, but the girl I did meet may prove more of a fire hazard than I." That briefly brought back memory of the flame dart that could have taken his head off. "I havent seen anyone else. Though it seems that my friends are up to their usual selves around here, Calcryx is fiddling with installing something against my better judgement."

Well that got an eyebrow raised to it. "Installing something against your better judgment. Of course he would be. Might I ask what it is? Just hope it isn't something against spirits. Mine inform me that Calcryx is..." Frightened wasn't the word she was looking for. "Fascinated, yet unnerved by them at the same time."

"Indeed, I heard his tale of it. But he got over it rapidly, he just wont enter the kitchen anymore. Not until he forgets at least, I'd say he's going senile, but he's always been that way. Anyhow, it appears to be a gateway of some kind. Lets people into some areas he's 'built' i think. I know it involves spacial mechanics that are beyond physical law. Funny thing is that he has it completed, just hasnt decided the nicest place to hang the door.

"Piper was quite amused herself by it. She's actually taken a liking to him as I've heard it. But I guess for the time being your kitchen territory is safe from him, and all yours to hoard." Both elbows on table now, both hands cradling her chin as she let a fascinated look cross her features. "He built a gateway? Talented I see, but not too good on deciding upon his creation's perfect place. Well there's plenty of wall space around here...although he may want to choose wisely...you know very well how all of us around her have an intense curiosity."

Having romped around in the forest again, Bastet was now back at the Manor gates inspecting herself for injuries. Her training went fairly well accept that she tired a little easier than usual, of course she could attribute that to what Kali said about feeling weird from teh goo, or dying, that could have a slight effect on things. Noticing a small cut on her side, she waited and it did not heal, confused, she took care of it herself. "Odd, I have not healed right since I was resurrected..." Remembering a part of a conversation she had heard from Elias, since he died he was no longer immortal. A new scare arose in her, at the thought of now being mortal, and not healing automatically, though she still seemed to heal on command so she just was not sure what to think. She could not tell anyone without lying some, so she banished the problem from her mind, and decided to think on it later possibly consulting the spirits.
With a sigh escaping she walked into the manor and pausing at a mirror to make sure she was presentable, she walked into the meeting place of the kitchen and nodded to Aura, Eclipse, Saradin, and Nailah, though Niah seemed to be in her own cheesecake world of bliss. "Good day everyone. Did I hear someone mention curiosity?" She plastered on a smile and moved to the bar for a drink.

One less of his kind on the streets Idalla thought as the young punks skin withered a bit and his bleached, gelled hair lost color at its roots while he neared his breaking point. You should have seduced him, youd have his soul to play with if he gave into lust. Maybe I should have. She began to think as she swallowed another mouthful of his life blood, seeing his eyes rollback as he lost conciousness and almost began convulsing in shock. Do you remember your collection? They were beautiful to look at. Hundreds of stolen souls, she remembered them and nearly wished she hadnt released them all with the signing of her pact to Uhsinakar. But she could start again, she was already lost in blood lust. He's already dead, theres nothing to feed on here. Find another if youd like. "We're supposed to be free to use it. But I dont trust it frankly, his inventions havent always worked as they should. We once all ended up in the middle of a desert when he tried to transport us to a town that was only a mile away. 'But it will be faster!' " He mocked the voice the dragon used to have in those old days when he was still a pup. "Oh hi Bastet."

"Hey...the desert isn't so bad." Shaking her head softly her attention shifted to the voice of another friend who she hadn't seen much since she got back. "Hello Bastet. Good to see you, you sort of slipped off last night."

Now more in her right mind, even though she did have concerns, she kept the smile plastered on and drank comfort from alcohol. "Yes...I had... matters to attend to." She watched them along with the silent Eclipse, "So I see chef Sarah is back in his kitchen cooking up something for us poor souls." This time a genuine smile as she tilted her head to Saradin, "I remember hearing that someone's cooking was like poison, I must say I have been tempted to order out."

Saradin sighed as he let go of the bad memory. "Very well then, but you cant complain to me if you end up lost in another dimension for a few days. Bastet, you wont have to worry, I've taken care of what 'mistakes' I found lying around here, nothing left but my own make."
