I just watched Hard candy... most disturbing movie I've seen this year. Recommended.

Is it just me or does that sound like the title of a porno? Specifically, a gay porno?

you got a wild imagination.

Meh, I've got a dirty mind because I'm a repressed virgin. Get over it. At least I'm not watching movies about *****, today I learned that I can stand history only in terms of linguistics or languages.

Hah, this is funny.

So, I bought a DVD from CDBaby (Liquid Crystal Vision because my computer is stupid with streamings) and got this as a shipment confirmation.

Quite a perky one:

Your CD has been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with
sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow.

A team of 50 employees inspected your CD and polished it to make sure
it was in the best possible condition before mailing.

Our packing specialist from Japan lit a candle and a hush fell over
the crowd as he put your CD into the finest gold-lined box that money
can buy.

We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party
marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of
Portland waved 'Bon Voyage!' to your package, on its way to you, in
our private CD Baby jet on this day, Wednesday, December 27th.

I hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. We sure did. Your picture is on our wall as 'Customer of the Year'. We're all
exhausted but can't wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!!

If delivery comes in reasonable time, I just may do business with them again.

It's what they call a "Psychological thriller", and it's a good one too. Gay porno is not that disturbing in comparsion, I think.

Gay porn is NOW, in 2007, the PUSSIEST of all porn. Seriously dudes, you know you can get WAY more hardcore on the internet......

Dead white male...eh, probably.

Yeah, considering the queen is doing all the work.

But the king is the piece you care about. The king's personal weakness reflects the political restriction placed upon him during times of war; because he needs to be protected, he cannot go out and attack in the manner that the expendable queen can. Also note that the queen is the only female piece on the board; the other pieces are implicitly male. The reason that the queen is so powerful is that due to her rank she must be more mobile than the other pieces, hence being able to move in all eight directions, but unlike the king she has no need to restrain herself to the back of the board.
Also consider that the pawn can eventually become a queen. Polygamy, anyone?
Yay bullshit!

A Brief History of Pop would be a lot more effective if I actually recognized more of the tunes. For the first minute and a half I thought it was all just one song.
