Natalie E. Spencer I’ll never fail again... Brother“Oh. Ouch. Marcus, that was cold.” Spencer acted like she was going to push him away, but only moved closer to him as he put his arm around her waist. She wasn’t about to complain about that, that was for sure. “So, are you saying I’m like a warhead or something?” She teased him as they moved out into the streets. Her eyes scanned around, and she wished she knew at least a little bit of what they were looking for. Ah well, they would find it eventually. Hopefully Noah and Selica weren’t waiting up when they got back, that would be hard to explain. “Better yet. What does that make you?” She was having too much fun with this, for sure. But that was alright, at least in her mind. The brunette would stop if he asked her to, but until then she was allowed to have her fun. ...I’ll keep you out of danger

Marcus D. Samuel -Silence-Different-Musician The darkness closes in on me, I surrender to it's sweet voice calling out to me, and let it take over me. On this bed I lay, losing everything I can see my life passing me by Silence"Sorry." Marcus apologized though he couldn't help but smile at it. He thought for a minute, warheads. Not his most favorite candy in the world. He barely even found them sour. But just because he didn't that didn't mean others thought the same. "Warhead seems...kind of extreme don't you think? How about a sweet tart?" he asked, sweet tarts were okay. They were sweet but also a little bit sour. To him it seemed to fit Spencer perfectly. "Me? Well, I think I would be rock candy." he said, rock candy, it was hard but just made of pure hardened sugar. He thought it fit him good. He had to admit, he was enjoying this, comparing people to candy. It was fun, but it also made him want some candy. Badly. But he shoved that part away into his the back of his mind. When they got out, wondered how they were going to find the store in such a busy place. Maybe they'd find it by luck, and just in case they got lost, he glanced at the street signs and other buildings, memorizing the names so they could find their way back later. Was it all too much or just not enough Wake me up, I'm living a nightmare There's no where to hide, in the dark. There was a girl I knew once, she told me I was blessed with a great gift. I laughed, because I think I was blessed with a curse.

Natalie E. Spencer I’ll never fail again... BrotherSpencer pulled at the pins in her hair as Marcus thought. She tried to remember all the times she went to the park, if she had ever seen a store. She wished she was more observant, it would make everything so much easier. She bit her bottom lip, turning to Marcus as he spoke again. “I think many people would disagree with you.” She smiled. “But yay, the candy expert thinks I’m at least a little bit sweet.” She thought for a moment about his words. The brunette didn’t really see him as something so hard, though they were pretty much all sugar, weren’t they? “I’m thinking of you more like dark chocolate.” Spencer mused. It was sweet, but bitterer than regular chocolate. So not everybody liked it. But, personally, she didn’t mind it. “Alright. So we just pick a direction and go?” She suggested, biting her lip. “I pick, first. That way.” Spencer pointed across the street. So, it was the direction of the park. So sue her, she couldn’t help but think that it was at least close to the park. Or maybe she just wanted to end up there, she couldn’t be sure. The brunette moved away from him, out of his grasp. She took his hand, instead, a soft smile playing n her lips as she tugged him behind her, darting across the street before the traffic started again. ...I’ll keep you out of danger

On this bed I lay, losing everything I can see my life passing me by SilenceMarcus knew a lot of people would disagree with him. "Well, I don't care about other people's opinions. I am a candy expert after all, so what do they know?" he smiled down at her. He made a face when she said he was dark chocolate. If there was one piece of candy out there that he couldn't stand. It was dark chocolate. "But, Spencer. I don't like dark chocolate!" he said, actually he hated it. It was unappealing to him in every way. He looked around them really, who knew were to go in such a busy looking place. Which was he was glad she picked where to go instead. "Okay." he said trusting her judgment. He frowned when she pulled away from him, but felt better when she took his hand. He followed her across the street quickly, making it over before the light went green again. Natalie E. Spencer I’ll never fail again... Brother“Well then, sassy. I suppose they know nothing. But, still. I think you’re being a bit too nice because you know a sweeter side of me. Even candy experts can be biased sometimes, you know.” She pointed out with a small smirk. Spencer couldn’t help but laugh, covering her mouth with her available hand. A candy he didn’t like? It just seemed fitting that she had dubbed him it. Not to mention that it was the only one she could stomach. “I can’t believe it!” she had calmed down to the occasional chuckle. “The only one I can stand, and you hate it. Go figure.” Spencer smiled up at him. “Sheesh. We were almost made into pancakes.” The brunette laughed as the light turned green, again. “I saw my life flash before my eyes!” She paused, though she made sure her feet didn’t pause, as well. “It was very boring.” She joked. Spencer pulled Marcus through the crowded streets, the hold on his hand tightening. She didn’t want to lose him, that was for sure. ...I’ll keep you out of danger

I know what I'm talking about." Marcus said acting offended. Though he couldn't pull it off for long. He looked at her as she started to laugh. He didn't see what was so funny about it. But only when she spoke again did he see the humor and smiled. "You mean you almost made us into pancakes." he teased, he couldn't help but laugh with her though. "Was I in it? If I was in it I can't possibly see how it was boring." he said letting her pull him. When she tightened her grip he tightened it. Crowds where the perfect place to lose each other and get kidnapped. Natalie E. Spencer I’ll never fail again... Brother“That is totally being biased!” Spencer argued. “How is that not being totally biased?” she chuckled, shaking her head. Ah well. She supposed he would never give in, so she just dropped it. The brunette was pleasantly surprised that no jokes about her and dark chocolate had been made. Or else that could have gotten awful, she knew it. She would have never heard the end of it, that was for sure. “Hey. I could have made it, it was you that was in danger. Mr. Slowing me down.” She teased. “I suppose that’s true. Yup. You were in it.” She smiled back at him. She stopped, standing on the street corner. “Which way now?” She asked him, looking around. This time, Spencer would leave it up to him. The brunette just hoped they were going the right direction, and that they both had really good guessing skills. She sighed softly, resting her head on his shoulder. “How long do you think we’re going to be wondering around here?” She frowned slightly.

Natalie E. Spencer I’ll never fail again... Brother”With all that candy in your system?” She teased. “I doubt it, boy.” Spencer turned and grinned over at him. She nodded at his directions. “You’re the boss.” She said, waiting until the light turned red to dart across the street, this time. As she went across the street, her grip tightened, but then loosened again as they reached the other side, realizing how tight she had been holding his hand. “Sorry.” She said softly. “I used to lose my brother all the time in the crowds of the streets. He was a lot like me, I used to do that to my dad all the time when we would go to town. It must have been the wondering away gene that was passed down through our parents.” The brunette laughed softly. “I suppose it just became natural to squeeze the living daylights out of the other’s hand, after a few times of having to go little boy searching.” She explained. “Sorry if it bothers you. Just tell me if you lose circulation.” Really, she was surprised she was still doing it. She hadn’t held her brother’s hand for a long time. Even when she did live with him, there was a point in which he was fine in the town by himself. They would meet up eventually. ...I’ll keep you out of danger

Natalie E. Spencer I’ll never fail again... Brother“Ha. I’d like to see you try. Someday, we’ll test this theory.” Spencer chuckled. Really, that would be interesting to see. Then again, it probably wasn’t really fair even without her apples and his candy. Either one way or another, one of them would win. So it wasn’t fair to try it with it, either. Ah well, who cared? “Good.” The brunette smiled. “Because I don’t know what I would have done if you thought that me squeezing your hand was a bad thing.” She teased. “Ahh, younger siblings, though.” Spencer smiled. “Gotta love ‘em, that’s for sure.” The guitarist brightened, spying the grocery store close. “There it is!” She announced, beaming. It seemed inevitable with the both of them at the wheel. “Nope. We found it, thank goodness. And it was quicker than I had expected, as well.” The brunette chirped. That’s when the brunette stopped, her face growing pale. She let go of his hand, digging around in her pockets, and then in her purse. “s**t.” She said lowly. “Sweet… I just.” The girl cursed again before turning to Marcus. “The list is in my other pants.” She sighed, the frustration plain on her face. “And I have no idea what was on it. We have to go back.” She groaned, closing her brown eyes and resting her head on his shoulder. “I’m such an idiot. I didn’t think about it.” She shook her head. “Kill me now.” She muttered pessimistically. She was beating herself up like crazy inwardly. How could she have been so dumb and forgotten it?
