"Come now, we all know I'm a dog at heart." He laughed the slightest bit. Then went serious again as she had continued. She was right, it was a part of him. Not a part really, but all of him. He was a fierce darkness that had molded itself into the very contradiction of himself. His name was Eclipse for a reason. But his instincts were still that of the dark way down deep inside. "I hoped that you would take Coban's offer...but I think I already knew that you would say no as your final answer. We're alike in that area...we like to remember the horrors of the past so as to be wary of them in the future." He paused a moment. "Just...what can I do to set things right for you Bastet?" It wasn't about him really, it was about her. She had an eternity to live if she had mind to. And sometimes memories scared deeper than anything.

She continued on her own thoughts for a moment, "And do you know that at the same time that I realized that it was a part of you, and just basically you, I realized that you could not help but be who you are. All I can think is that, and that you have never crossed me before." She sighed again and looked him in the eyes, "We are alike in a few ways. However you think forgetting would make it easier, but then you would never know my true reactions if I could not remember the situation, and you would think on it always, as I am sure you have thought on Aura. I will not judge on that situation either. But would you not rather know that you are forgiven by me and an understanding is reached?" At this her face softened some, giving him a bit of comfort instead of judgement. "You are already setting it right my friend. I only wish that this does not happen again, so you and no one else has to feel any of this."

"Weapon of darkness...heh, can't help that can I. Aurahkah got her wish a little...she just will never know that." And then he thought on that. "I do think on what I did to Aurahkah often, but truth be told...I'm glad she doesn't remember, and that she doesn't have to forgive me. Call me a coward if you will for hiding the crime. But with you it's different as you say. I want to know that you forgive me, even if things won't ever be like they were...if we don't act the same. I at least just want to know that you can walk around not fearing that I may be around a corner." And he stopped, pondering more of what she said. So that no one else has to feel any of this...he hoped it that way to. Yet he was fearful of a time when darkness could once again be unbridled.

She smiled, "It is not in me to fear a dog, as natural as it may seem, my cat's pride has evolved too much. I will not tell Aurahkah, and I can not judge that situation because I was not there." Then she thought of another simple principle, "And if this gives you another level of comfort then that is good. Every action someone does, whether little or big, barely noticed or extreme, changes someones reaction towards that person. No act is ever exactly the same, if you think about it that way." She nodded and continued, "Do you fear being around the corner, high on darkness and waiting for someone? If you fear something too much, it controls you." She leaned closer a little and made sure to be staring him in the eyes with a serious look, "Do you think everyone would have prompted us to talk, if things would not eventually be right again?" This was about them both.

"I don't fear it...to fear it is to fear myself and let myself become something that I never intended of myself to be. And as you probably noticed....like that I lack the finesse of laying in wait for someone..." He tried to throw it off as a joke of sorts, but it was pretty hard to do considering the material of the subject. "In the end they know what they're doing. And how to push someone when the pushing is needed and catching them when they are falling." His eyes told of the smile that he had on the inside. "But you still haven't told me...is your forgiveness mine to have...if I'm on a fool's quest, I'd like to know before I travel too far."

She smiled for real, "But you know I enjoy watching a good fool on his quest, it brings entertainment when everyone else is asleep. And you must be referring to the push you received off of that roof." At this she actually grinned, a continuation in the right direction. "You have forgiveness if your asking of it is sincere and you make a promise to me to honor your promise with Coban." Now she was just being difficult, and leaving the choice of the fogiveness up to him.

Eclipse looked over his wings to the spirit on the roof, only to see it accompanied by another, both waving over to him at his look. Yes, they were sharing the joke that Bastet was implying. His tail wagged the slightest bit behind him as he looked back to Bastet. "Wolf of my word." Though promise made, he still had a lingering thought and another apology. "Coban told me that my blood gave you a scar...I'm sorry for that too." A pause to let it sink in with her. "Are you going to rid yourself of the reminder?"
"Push in the right direction."
"You're terrible."
"Not as bad as you."
"Shut up."
"After you."

She paused a moment to wave back at the spirits. "I do not know. At first I was thinking that I would not, but now I might because it is giving me trouble. For some reason the blood mix prevents it from healing, but it does not hurt as bad now. Perhaps our feelings were in our blood." She winked at him, now that they had somewhat cleared the air, it could not be righted just like that, but it was started. "Coban said Kali might be able to fix it... But I do not see her up there." She rubbed at the scar unconsciously and hoped to be rid of it now.

"Nothing up there but two trouble makers who don't even need to be around one another in the first place. Kali went back to the graveyard...if you want to see her that much...I can take you there." Sure, no one ever went there except for himself or Aurahkah. But there were at times when exceptions should be made. He chuckled the slightest. "I wouldn't be surprised if you were right about our blood. Who knows what else mine has done to you. I barely know myself, I used to not bleed." He lifted a paw, hesitating it in the air for a moment, before he gently set it to the shoulder where her scar was.

She did not have to hold back a flinch for none came and smiled at him, showing him no sign of fear. Standing, she set her hand on his muzzle where the sword had gone through, and rubbed it gently, then she moved her hands to scratch behind his ears. "Could you please take me there?"
((Gr. Puppet me Aura, I am being forced off.))

"Guess we better get back then if they're going there..."
"Race you."
"You are an idiot. We can't race. We're dead."
"You are no fun." Thobias flicked her in the back of the head, where upon he was punched for the action and both faded to beat Eclipse back.
He leaned his head for a moment into her touch. That's all he wanted right now. Simplicity in the action. And it showed no sign of fear. Then he thought for a moment on how to go about this. 'Hidden Family Graveyard' was supposed to be...well hidden. And he wasn't allowed to shadow walk right now, doctor's or rather Kali's orders. "Close your eyes." Seeing eye dog routine then. "And no peeking." Taking hold of the bangle she wore around her wrist in his teeth he began to lead her along. Throught the area, past the manor gates, through the manor itself, to the courtyard and to the back of that, through another pair of iron gates. Then he let go of the bangle. "Kali, someone wants to see you."

Sitting at the table, Nelphean wished he was still blind. The images he saw in the looking glass bothered him emensely. He knew all of the evils he witnessed through his scrying device were intended for him...
Nelphean raised his glass of cool, clean, water in a toast to an imaginary guest, and drank the water in a single gulp. He placed his hands on the table, and sat still for a moment, at tried to collect his thoughts. Time was against him, there was little he could do...

Shin yawned, stumbling down the stairs, running her fingers through her har, which was considerably shorter than berofre, barely belosw her ears. Tularie bounded beside her, running arund, back and forth happily.
"Well aren't you in a good mood."

She stood with her eyes closed for a moment, until they stopped walking. At Eclipses voice talking to Kali, she opened her eyes and looked around. "Well gee, if it was a secret, then I could have waited Clipsy." She called him by the nickname and leaned on him a bit playfully. Fixing her posture, she waited for Kali to make herself visible.

She would find herself standing in a rather gray place, not much color to it at all. A ever so slight mist seemed to hang about. Graves were the main theme, all the headstones elaborate in some way, all bearing a name. They seemed in good condition considering their age. Near the back stood one dug and open grave, but had a headstone bearing a name as well. In the middle of them all stood an angel made of marble stone. "Don't worry, it's more friendly than it looks."
Piper poked her head out from behind said angel statue. "Miss Bastet! Clippy! You're together again!" She clapped her hands together in childish delight.
Gold flashed off to the right side of Bastet. "I win!"
Violet flashed the same in the same direction on the right side of the other. "Idiot..and they still got back before us thanks to you."
"Shut it both of you, people are trying to sleep around here." It seemed like a fog had lifted from the place, and now Jaxom was seen perched on a gravestone that bore his own name on it. Then he nodded to Bastet. "Good to see you well."
Eclipse wagged his tail once, and looked up to Bastet. "Oh it's fine. You don't know the exact path here. All you stop bickering now, where's Kali?"
He slipped off his gravestone and walked between various others until he came to two that stood near the very back and above the others slightly. "Being lazy." He then knocked on their gravestones in a rather joking fashion. Loved bothering them. "Coban, Kali, we have company rather than Ary."
Green flash and Coban was there, standing before Jaxom with arms crossed. "Must you do that? Not like it's necessary." Shaking his head he turned the direction Jaxom indicated. "Well if it isn't Miss Bastet in out midst. Have you an answer for me?"
Next to him another one. "All business with you. You could of at least asked how she was first." Kali shook her head then turned a smile to both Eclipse and Bastet as she approached them. "Need me for something?" She then abruptly turned, indicated silence from the five others in an authority that only she seemed to hold and then returned the sweet smile back to Bastet.
