Elias said as he soflty petted the young dragon, "There is really only one thing that haunts me to this day, it was on a night much like this one, a cloudless night, choaked with stars under the full moon, it was on that night that I kille my wife and our unborn daughter." Elias said as he lowered his head towards the ground in utter shame of the words which he had just spoken.

"There is no greater sin for man that to take the life of the woman the he loves, you know even after over a hundred years of her passing, I still wake up some mornings hoping that she'll be there, like she always, with that gorgeous smile on her face. With those obsidian black eyes, that reflected the lght of the sun prefectly. Her soft skin which tasted of vanilla and rum. Her soft voice, a voice so beautiful that no matter how hard our life got, that sweet voice of hers made everything all right, I miss how she could always make me feel better with a sinle word and on the forhead. I loved the way she looked while she was pregnant, that girl inside her only made her that much more radiant. I still yearn to hold that girl in my hands, to scream at the top of the mountains the praises of my sweet child, how I would have loved to have seen her grow, into a beautiful so much like her mother. But it was never meant to be, you know I never got to hold my daughter I never even got to see my own child born, and how I miiss her, my gorgeous wife, I still wear our wedding band on my finger." ELias said as he showed Shin the old gold band which he wore on his ring finger, it was a simply ring, and it was now faded and tarnished with age, but it was the only thing Elias had of the family he was denied, of the only women he had ever loved.

Elias smiled at the young female dragon, as a single stray rolled out of the corner of his blank white eye. "No young one her name was not Elias, her name was Magdalena, that was the name that the angels gave her....she was my Magdalena." Elias was completely silent for a moment before he spoke once more. "I am sorry Shin, I have only made you sad with my tales of woe, of memories of another life, when I was a different person, a person worthy of someone like her, but that Elias died a very long time ago. But once again I am sorry for the pain that this old fool has brought you." he said as he placed his delicately atop that of the young dragoness.

Elias shout up a questioning eyebrow, it seemed that something about that name had grabbed her attention. "Yes her name was Magdalena De Santa, I met her one night while I was traveling through Mexico about six years after the death of my parents, but the real question here why did you get about three shades paler when I said her name?" Elias asked the young fox his own curiousity no peaked.

It was now Shin who had Elias full attention. "What in blue blazes are you talking about?...took them over....to the other side? And what do you mean first die?" Elias head was spinning so much that he had to lean his hand unto the manor so that he would fall over.

Elias smiled, it seemed that there was thing about Shin that he did not know, "I am glad that you met her mon amie, and I am surprised that you are a guide, I was well aware of there existence being the one time god of ressurection and all, but I have never meant one in person until now. And don't worry, Shin you know that your secret is more than safe with me." he said with a large smile on his face, content at what he had heard.
