As Elias sat there in the kitchen and ate whatever food he was overcome by a wave of loniness, he had not been in love for over one hundred years, he had alowed himself to do so becuase he had lost her by his own hands, force to kill her with a single bullet to the head. A bullet from the same gun what his father had once so proudly balanced upon his hips, the one with which he had saved so many lives. She had been his everything, and everyone. But in that moment of utter fear, he had taken he life, and he had run, run from California never to return. Every once in while he remembered what he had been forced to loose, for his mission for the curse which still coursed through his veins. In the end even death could not redeem the sins which he had commited.

"Very good, sweet Bastet, very good." Nelphean smiled, "Now should we practice holding hands for later?" He laughted. "Well, sweet, I am afraid that I must retreat from our current engagement, and return later. I am pressed sourly with some unfortunate intralopers and need to figure out what they are ploting to do with your hair." Nelphean tilted his head, and kissed Bastet gently. "Til then." He disappeared, and unwraped his arms form Bastet slowly, "til then."

Elias rose from the table he would dwell on the mistakes of the past, he would fix them in the here and the now, he would not fret that he was going to spend the rest of his life alone, such was the fate of men like him, men who were vile and had no honor. His heart was black and heavy with darkness, he would never allow any other to share the burden of his heavy steps. He let out a heavy sigh, and looked into the room where the three girls were sleeping exhausted from all the work that he put them through. "Forgive me young ones, I swear I will keep you face, I swear that I will your mind from knowing the great evils that I have seen." He sighed as he made his way unto the the celling of the manor, for a moment he just stood there, his blank white eyes reflecting the light of the full moon.

Elias sat upon the edge of the roof, he swung his legs over the edge. For a minute he simply looked down at the floor, through his blank white eyes, his mind was rushing with the thoughts and memories of a time long ago past, of a time when he was still something of a human, when his parents were still alive. Back when the love of his life had been alive, long before that terrible night when he had been forced to end her life. Elias was lost in his own sorrow, around the others there was always a smile on his face but there were nights like these when Elias could not contain the darkness in his own heart. He was far from a perfect man, he was doomed to live alone forever but it was a path that the had choosen long ago, but everyonce in a while he could not help but wonder what if? And it seemed that tonight was going to be one of those nights, closing his eyes he let his body fall from the roof, and let his body free fall through the night sky.

When Elias landed, he landed perfectly on his feet, the ground beneath him barely disturbed as he landed upon it. For a second he just simply stood there with his blank white eyes closed. He did not notice that Shin had been watching, he had been lost much too deep in his own thoughts to notice, he continued to stand there, his body perfectly still his eyes closed, his mind racing with the thoughts of lifetimes past.

Elias slowly opened his eyes as his lips spread into a smile. "I am sorry Shin it is just that when they moon is full, this olf fool tends to get a little sentimental that's all." he said with a smile, not quite his normal size, because as Elias had explained the moonlight made his think of years gone by. "It is best sometimes to live in the past, so that we do not relive the old mistakes in the future" he said as he gave the dragon a gental pat on the head.

A look of worry spread across the face of Elias as he saw that very same feature upon the face of his friend, "What is botherring you my friend?" Elias asked with a geniune look of concern upon his face. concern for his friend, a concern which had quickly pushed whatever memories had floated up to the surface to once more fall down into the recesses of his mind.

Elias stood there silently for a moment, almost as if he was calculating his answer in his head before he said it, after a few moment of silence Elias spoke once more to his faithful friend. "The better question here is do you think that there is something wrong?" Elias asked as he placed his large hand delicately upon het shoulder. "What do you see in me, that worries you so my dear Shin." Elias asked once more, for a brief moment taking on the demenour of a much older man.
