I meant to tell you the other night about my coffee craziness....but we were speaking about other things and just never got a chance to ramble about it...
Anyways. I am in a gas station in Jackson, (the big city 50 miles away or so, conducting UPS business...) and I decide it's cold, storming I am thirsty; why not coffee. So I says to myself upon seeing the selections..."Self, French Vanilla would sure be nice right now"...I agreed...So i observe the instructions to the machine of many levers. (More parts than a friggin WW2 German artillery piece) It tells me...
Pull the left lever and release for flavor, pull right for flavored creamer.
I do so...and drip...I do so again...drip....I repeat about 6 times...and I have a small smidgeon of flavored creamer and what I suppose is French Vanilla coffee in the bottom. So says I in pertrubed state to the "attendant"
"Does the Coffee machine work?" stare
"Yes, thats just flavoring a little goes a long way I hope you did'nt put too much in the cup...." 3nodding
"So you have to add it to the coffee?" neutral
"Yes it's concentrated, lord that must be strong" surprised
A sip later..."Yes, I see what you mean...." sad
So yes...unaware as I am of the way things run in the "city" I foolishly assumed simplicity and thus partook of a trip down the road of ignorance and thus had to add my coffee AFTER the flavoring...Which turned out somewhat well, but not really that great.... pirate
Moral: If a machine has many levers and promises coffee...say &*^% it and buy a Coke instead. wink
