"No problem, Pup." Nelphean chuckled slightly at that, Sun Shadow was over ten times older then Nelphean.
"As for my eyes, and the fires of purity, I suffer no longer, as Caliburn feels that he made me suffer enough. He was cleaning my blood of evil, or something like that." Nelphean laughed, as his hand came down to rest on the hilt of Caliburn, but delayed, and slowly moved towards the weapon. It seemed as though Nelphean was forcing himself to rest his hand there, but when at last reached the sword, the hand relaxed.
"I see," Nelphean smiled largly at the pun, "That I am an emensely popular person." Nelphean shook his head, "Well, when the villagers come looking for a witch, tell them that I went back to there town while they travelled here, and stole more of there beautiful daughters while they hunted me. That always works. Those silly supersticious humans, always hunting the shadows..." Mentioned that part of his life rang a bell in his head, "Oh, they also hunt Aurahkah... Well, that is one thing we have in common. But I think I probably bring it onemyself more often than she e'er could. Walking around, manipulating their minds, suducing their daughters... and stealing everything that may or may not be of value." Nelphean was offering this spirit a huge handful of informantion about himself, for no reason.
The elf sighed, "My heart e'er grows fond, but ne'er contented... Well, usually. Then there are the special goddesses in my life that tame the fires that burn within my chest, marking them for their own, and hold ing a dear place in my heart for all eternity." The elf frowned for a moment, and returned to his smile. But then they die, and I return to my old ways... Such is my life I guess.

She was just watching him thoughtfully and smiling at him as he offered information up. Elves were always so very open creatures it seems. Then Kali waved her hand in dismissive fashion. "They hunt anything that can do more than what they deem a normal human should be able to. It's like a hobby to them. I made sure there were high walls and barriers around this manor for that reason." A habitual pause. "But it is good to know that your sight is no longer plagued and you can once again gaze upon the things that you love the most."
"You popularity comes from your antics and skirt chasing. I'd be in shock if you happened to settle for one girl in particular." His tail wagged slightly. But he would give anything for a pet right now. People could say they trusted him, but they were words. That would be the thing for Bastet, would she ever play with him and show him affection like she used to?

Bastet awoke rather contented after having drunk herself to sleep. As proven numerous times before, Egyptians did not get hangovers, yet she did simply lay there for a moment thinking. Thinking of the reasons she had drunk herself to sleep. To remember or not to remember, erasing any part of a life is like running from it, as she saw it. And if she had gotten rid of everything bad before, then she might be a different person today, which could be a good thing.
Sighing she rolled out of bed and reached for the bottle. She cursed lightly after finding that she had drunk it all. After the cat woman had made her and her droopy ears presentable, she slinked out of her room and to the kitchen. In her search for more alcohol, her sight wandered out of the kitchen window to see Nelphean, Eclipse, and who she assumed to be Kali. At seeing Eclipse, her eyes widened some and she turned her head, ducking from the window. She would have to face him sooner or later, and later it was for now. Quietly, her search was resumed.

"Frequently I settle for one girl, the gods just happen to deem that relationship bad, and remove the girl." Nelphean said rather darkly, but changing his tone into a more postive one, "May I ask you your name good spirit?"

"Perhaps, they'll give you one that isn't so easily removed once she's been placed. And where are my manners, I'm Kali." She tilted her head again and added another smile to the elf.
His ears perked a little as he watched Kali. Reminded him of his Aurahkah...who he was really starting to miss. Didn't take much to be reminded of her from Kali, half of Aurahkah's own mannerisms came from Kali. His nose twitched as it caught the scent of the one person he really was afraid of right now, and he side stepped behind Kali again the slightest bit.

Searching around she found nothing alcoholic, so she opted for the next best thing, hot chocolate. She prepared it the way she liked, with whip cream piled on top, and sat at the table with her comfort drink. Lapping up the whip cream, she could not help but go back to the window and look out it, to see if Eclipse looked ok. He seemed to step behind the ghost, which hid him not in the slightest, so either something was said between him and Nelphean, or hw knew she was there. Other than the withdrawal, he seemed alright. No scar on him, maybe Kali fixed any he had.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Miss Kali," Nelphean reached for the spectral hand, holding his hand out and opened, "Only to great you in the custom of my homeland." Nelphean said slyly.
For a cat, she certainly has heavy foots steps today...

It was rather surprising for her to see him stick his hand out. Most people went with the 'spirits can't be touched' stereotype. Then again he was an elf. Explained a lot actually. With a smile she reached out and gave him her own hand. Of course he couldn't physically feel it. But the occupied air was easily known as well as a very slight sensation of warmth where her hand was, and then extreme cold around that area. Physical touch and yet not. As Coban often put it, complicated. "Smart or lucky elf?"
Just as she was watching him, he was taking glances at her through the window, trying to figure out what she was thinking. But Bastet was always so hard to read for him, she knew how to hide things well, unless the expression in her eyes gave it away or her ear level. She looked no worse for wear, but that was to be expected. So one stared at the other through the not so good barrier that was Kali's form and Eclipse's shield.

Well, Bastet was not going out there. No matter how appealing fresh air seemed. Comfortable that none of them knew she was there, she turned with her drink and headed to the kitchen door. As she turned the scar shown free to the her watcher, whom she had not noticed. She doubted she would erase her memory. She got a note that day, Nelphean showed a good side to her, and Eclipse did not mean what had happened, she just needed time, but how long could she say that?

Bending forward, Nelphean 'kissed' the spectral hand. "A master of illusions knows how to handle light..." Nelphean grinned as he straightened back to a standing positon. "I would continue with that thought, but you ahve the manner of a married woman. Might I dare ask whom the lucky man is?" Nelphean streched,
"Can't remain in the shadows forever, one must always walk forward and find the answers we seek, hoping for the best." Telling the air, Nelphean motioned his hands towards the window, and then returned them to his side.

"Smart as I though. And perhaps lucky also. But you're right, and the lucky man is Coban, who I believe you know...well at least by the sound of his voice. I'm actually surprised he hasn't berated you with a talk of decisions yet." Pausing she side glanced down at Eclipse. "You could always just go say 'hi'."
Muzzle slightly agape from seeing the scar on his friend he hunkered down the slightest bit, then turned a look up to Kali at her statement. Then shook his head like a five year old child whose mother just asked him to go shakes hands with someone new, and he didn't want to.
"Waiting only makes it worse dear shadow wolf." Yes that was what she was all about. Gentle reminders to the ears, even if one tried to block those reminders out.

She shrugged listening with her ears without turning her eyes. "One must walk forward eventually, but sticking to the shadows when not completely sure of your way is acceptable as well. Besides, he does not seem ready either." Lapping up some more chocolate, she seemed not to notice anything, as her focus was on memories replaying in her head.

"Why would I deserve any such confrence, I know not what was seen, nor do I allow such shadows to dwell deep within the golden heart that e'er beats soundly in my chest, Yeah, I must seek out another, for I feel perticularly poetic today." Nelphean bowed.
"This Coban should be weary, the quicksilver that guides my tongue will e'er leave an impression on thy soul sweet mistress... Now I am just being silly, I think I am going to go talk to miss Bastet." Nelphean bowed, and dissappeared. The window opened, and the sound of climbing and a few low curses, and then all was quiet once more. Once inside, Nelphean playign the part of a graceless fool, knocked the window frame and rolled into the kitchen, with a thud, as his invisibility dispelled, he was sitting in a cross-legged position, with his cloack spread out around him. "I meant to do that." He said to the air about him, laughing at his clowning.

Ears perked up as a lot of noise was heard. The window behind her was opened and so was a mouth that stated some foul language along with the trouble it's owner was having. At this she turned, and Nelphean appeared cross-legged on the floor. At the trouble she had to chuckle lightly and in a tone more bitter than she intended, "Graceful elf having trouble? No one freely states that they meant to do something, unless they are trying too hard to convince." She sighed and leaned against the doorway to the kitchen, lapping up more chocolate and cream. Then she seemed to stare into her mug, "How are you today? And you know, I could use that invisibility sometimes."

As she watched him go she shook her head and laughed softly. "Because Coban is a man of business and details. You're a detail dear elf." With Nelphean gone her attention returned to the wolf who was acting like a puppy. "Light Behind the Darkness, Aurahkah's Eclispe...since when do you feel so much fear?" She knelt down next to the creature, who instantly curled himself close to her, and she in return laid a hand to his head in unfelt touch, specifically on the spot where Bastet's blade had cracked through his jaw. "Coban told you that she hasn't decided. And the scar she bears...it's not your undoing and it's not a door that will close her off from you. She said she needs time, give her that, but you can't completely slink yourself away from her."
"The old time heals all wounds cliche...shame that it's always right. I just...want things to be the way they were. But they'll never be the same again." He gave a bark out of utter frustration.
"Not the same, but close enough."
