Selaboo Ember Darc Got a question for you then. We're going to be starting up splinter guilds, hopefully very soon. Would you be interested in moving to one of those guilds? You're one of the original members, and I'd hate to see you leave us outright. Splinter guilds? Explain? xp And I won't be leaving. I still go and browse and post sometimes in the morning while the n00bs and idiots are still snoozing. I'm not gonna let them completely ruin it for me. domokun I belive the splinter guilds are going to be mini groups within the Paladins that cover other forums besides the Videogame Discussion boards. Im not 100% sure on that though. sweatdrop

Especially since Gaia ate my items. gonk But, whatever floats Ember's boat, I'm down with it.

Ember Darc eek How are you immune to turning? Sorry to bring up this old post but now that I have the book with me I can explain. sweatdrop As you may remember I said I had a Death Knight Troglodyte. Death Knight is, in Monster Manual 2, a template. One of it's special qualities is Turn Immunity (ex). I have no clue what (ex) means but it's there so it may be important. This ability reads: A death knight cannot be turned. It can be banished with holy word, however, just as if it were an evil outsider. (The banished death knight returns to the plane of the evil god it serves)

(The banished death knight returns to the plane of the evil god it serves)(Ex) means extraordinary ability. Basically, it's intrinsic to the thing physically, so it cannot be dispelled or anything. If it were (Su) (Supernatural) or (Sp) (Spell-like ability), being in something like an anti-magic field would cancel it. The others aren't really relevant to this, but I hope that helps in general. *Has provided more reason that he should be a manual*

Selaboo The VGD scares me now. I'm sure most of you have noticed, I barely even post there anymore. I've seen so many Halo and Fable threads. So many /n00bs/. I'm like.. fed up. It was like my home when there were barely any people posting there, back in the beginning of November, and such. Everyone was friendly, there were only one or two repeat threads, and then, the discussions were literate. I could actually read what people said. Don't get me wrong, there are still quality discussions, but the one you're arguing against always happens to be a ******** p***k. stare And they always say some snappy s**t, that doesn't relate to the argument what-so-ever. Now, it's just.. A shithole to me, and I don't even like being there most of the time. Yeah. My two cents. sweatdrop To be honest I don't post as much as II used to. There is the factor of being back at school, but I find I'm spending more time in my other Guild and in teh Official Zelda thread. Most of the threads in the VGD at the moment are about games that I haven't/hardly played.

How exactly would a template monster character work? Im thinking of going with a half dragon or half fiend template on a human or elf. I think I have most of the monster character information figured out but I dont know for sure because I dont have the book for that..There is a book for that right? sweatdrop

The templates you mentioned are in the Monster Manual. Just create a regular character, and then add them on.

Just remember that they also count toward your total levels. The levels from templates + class levels = total level (determined by XP) And by the way, challenge rating (CR) adjustment is not the same as level adjustment.

BGBW Most of the threads in the VGD at the moment are about games that I haven't/hardly played. Same here. Mainly because most of Gaia is made up of console gamers. And to mention the fact the computing forum is ALMOST EMPTY! Heck, I go to a way less active forum but its computing forum is pretty active.

Kedian, did you buy Insaniquarium Deluxe? o.o; Before I knew it, my 60 minute trial expired. I was in the middle of Tank 2-5 when it suddenly closed out on me. @_@
Can't get enough of Insaniquarium. @_@ And I haven't even checked out the other modes either. If there's no leeway around it, I'll more likely pay the $19.95. LoL. I still do have those 70 $20 bills all un-wrinkled nicely in my other wallet..

Nah, it's not really much.. x_x Can't do too much with it anyway. And.. the reason why I have so much saved up is because I used to work somewhere, and the games I buy have great gameplay and replay value that it lasts me very long times.
I rarely buy new games now. o_o; .. Except for Pokemon Leaf Green, and Colloseum, and now Insaniquarium Deluxe.

>_> This is probably getting annoying but another D&D question. I've looked through all the books my friend left with me but I cant find the answer. As I stated earlier I was going to make a template character using either half fiend of half dragon. Well I went with dragon and my dragon choice has a breath weapon that is confusing me. This is how it readsQuote: Breath Weapon (su): A sapphire dragon breathes a cone of nearly inaudible sonic energy. in addition to making a reflex saving throw against sonic damage, each creature within the cone must succeed at a will save (same DC) or become panicked for 1d4 rounds I understand the second half the the weapon but what exactly is sonic damage? I cant find it anywhere. sweatdrop
