Rin nodded and wasted no time in activating her strongest power, Blizzard. Narrowing her eyes she pictured the whole forest, every tree, leaf, blade of grass, holes in the ground..everything covered in thick layers of ice and in a blanket of snow...winter was coming and wasn't going to be friendly. "Blizzard" Her voice was calm yet anger still linger, hidden, but still there. She'd had more than enough of this demon and was going to show him the true meaning of 'frost bite'.
Quickly the whole area was submereged into a grey sky snow began to fall hevaily as ice began to creep along the ground. Yes it was fast acting, but only because it was Rins most practised power and her own anger empowered it.

Killarney tilted her head back and saw the first snowflakes begin to fall, and the temperature drop drastically. "This can't be good, friend." The next instant it was a blizzard. Hunched over and huddling close to her horse for warmth, she went forward and lost sight of the others. She didn't know if she was closer to them, or farther away. All she saw was white all around her. Hope we get out of this soon, I don't feel like losing any fingers or toes today.

As soon as the storm started, Trip released his hold on the bubble holding the demon. The bubble would not last very long under its own power, but he was no longer concerened by it. The feather pattern on his arm erupted out of his skin and changed into real feathers. His lips hardened and stretched out into a massive beak, and he grew massive. He was a Roc. Majestic, and dangerous. He leaned forward, and cawed, making a motion with his head to indicate that Rin was to jump on.

Godric was impressed at the strength of the shield, he didn't expect it to hold up as long as it did. He smiled when Rin started to charge her attack, a blizzard. Knowing that it would hinder his path made him even more thrilled, he hated a hunt which proved no challenge at all.
When he was about to make one last push against the shield, he heard a sound of rustling through the bushes. He couldn't believe he had missed it before, another shard holder had been watching them just a moment ago. The shield must have interfered with his magically enhanced senses, that was the only explanation for it.
His attention however, was once again grabbed by the current situation when the shield died down, and he felt the full force of the cold. He rolled through the snow, and dug his long coat out, quickly throwing it over his shoulders. It may have been covered in snow, but it provided the demon with more protection from the cold than he had a moment ago. If his visibility was better, he would cancel out the blizzard, but he couldn't tell exactly where the shard holder was. As he heard the sound of beating wings, he swore under his breath, but then laughed manically as a realization came to him. The snow would hinder their journey away as much as it hindered him. The snow was already halfway up his boots, and it didn't show signs of stopping.

Rin wasted no time in hoping onto Trips back whilst Blizzard was in full charge. She expected that Godric would find something to help him out, it wouldn't be like a demon to just give in, so she thought whilst she had the chance they might as well escape and live to fight another day when hopefully they were better prepared. Rin looked over at Godric and narrowed her eyes as she that he was surviving against the cold but at least it would slow him down giving them the chance to take advantage and escape "Youd best fly...i dont think he's going to wait"

Avalon was having a hard time pushing through the snow that kept getting higher and higher. "This is not good..." She couldn't see where she was, and unknowingly was ending up closer to the clearing where the others were. Hearing the beat of wings, she looked up and saw a large bird, the outlines fuzzy through the falling snow. I guess they got away, must mean the other person was the bad guy. And I have no idea where he is. Feeling a little fearful, she pushed Avalon forward to get themselves out of here.

Trip squaked, annoyed by the snow that was slowly building up on his talons. As soon as he was sure that Rin was secure, he extended his wings, brushing the trees on either side of the clearing. He screamed a battle cry to the heavens and flapped once, hard enough to blow snow everywhere and cause the trees to groan in protest as they bent in the blast. After a few more flaps, he was clear of the trees. He had little trouble seeing in the blizzard, but the covering of snow made it difficult to find the location of the haven. After a few short minutes of thinking, he came to a decision and flew in the direction he felt the haven was in.

As Godric heard the first flap of wings, he drew his longsword and threw it in the direction that the sound came from, hoping that the strike would hit its mark. After the blade left his hand he pursued it, the other person shoved out of his mind at the moment. Godric had marked the animal shard holder as his target, and he would pursue that man to the ends of Gaia if necessary.

((Ugh...getting out of the situation, but only three other people are RPing...what happened to everyone???))
Quite some time had passed and Kill managed to push through the blizzard without losing any limbs. The snow faded off and she could see greenery and foliage again. "In the clear now, Avalon. Good thing we're away from them, eh? Would have ended up badly otherwise." Killarney then continued on her journey.
((LAME. One of my worst posts ever. Ah well.))

((AHA. I can go to the fortress, mwahaha..."burning glory" will attract my attention.))
Killarney was heading north she figured, and she was glad that blizzard was over. Must have been the girl who caused it, since the guy turned into a gigantic bird of some sort. Interesting. I guess I'm not the only one with these...powers. Kill yawned and rubbed the neck of her horse when she saw an orange glow in the distance. She tilted her head and contemplated what was happening. "Well, Avalon. To ride into danger, again, luckily unscathed, or turn and go somewhere else?" Avalon moved her head and looked back at her rider. "To mischief and mayhem we go then, dear friend." The horse and rider continued to head north toward the glow in the distance.

As they were taking off, Rin heard quite faintly in the distant the sound of a blade cutting through the air. She wasn't quite sure, but she knew she could hear something. Tilting her head she strained to hear it, but when she did her eyes opened wide. It was a blade, and it was coming fast if he didn't move to avoid it they would both be hit. Gritting her teeth she whispered aggresively to Trip as she raised her hand from her side. "Move quickly" Her hand reached behind her back and pulled forth her halberd. None of her atacks would slow it down with the speed it was travelling at, but if she could get the angle right and distance right she could use her halberd to knock it off course.
Taking a few moments to make sure she had picked up on it right she aimed the halberd over her shoulder and slanted slightly before throwing it through the air, hoping they would meet...but there was no guarantee. "Move fast"

Trip heard the woosh of the sword coming towards them and Rin's voice form her perch on his back, but none of it seemed to process. He was a Roc now, king of the birds. There was no gaurantee he would ever return to his human form ever again. He was a Roc that occasionally thought like a human. Right now, the Roc had urges to protect the human on his back and fly to the protected place. With a loud scream of defiance, the Roc folded his wings and dove to avoid the blade as it flew by. Then, it straightened out at the tops of the trees and flew towards the protected place.
((sorry about that..school started for me and its taking my time...we'll post a couple of more times here then move over to the Haven to post.))

His longsword clattered against trees before it hit the ground, and that alerted Godric to his apparent failure. He screamed loudly, that entire fight had been his but they ran away. Running forth, he grasped the blade and resheathed it. Kneeling in the snowdrift, he wondered how long it would last.
Having no idea where they we headed, he started to think, right there on his knees in the snow. Could they be headed to the Temple? No, not the temple. They were headed in the wrong direction. No way I could catch them while they are in the air anyways. But, there was that other-
A smile crossed Godric's lips. When the snow cleared out, he would follow the tracks of that other person. It wouldn't be that hard. But now, now he needed to hibernate. Sleep overcame him, and there he lay, snow falling on top of him.

Snow....Why is there snow....so much...it's cold... Acryn stumbled and fell, her pale skin turned red from the cold, her limbs frozen. She seemed almost to blend in, with her white hair, white shirt, and pale clothing. Cold... Her hands flexed and gripped a pile of snow, pain shooting through her limbs. Her grey, red rimmed eyes glanced upward and noticed that the blizzard was dying down and the snow stopped falling. She had no idea where she was, or how she ended up here. But she remembered everything. Clearly. Frighteningly clear. The last thing she remembered seeing....bright, impossibly bright light. It was coming toward her fast, fast, fast. There was nothing she could do. Heat. Incredible heat. And then nothing but cool darkness. And now she was here, in the snow, in the cold, wondering where she was. Her eyes darted back and forth, her body shaking almost violently to stay warm. Her hands reached up and gripped the sides of her head. They didn't feel like her hands. It felt like she shouldn't be here, this is someone else. Not me. Next thing she knew she was screaming. Loud, louder. Screaming. She couldn't make it stop.

Godric groaned a little as he pushed himself upward from the snow that had buried him. Someone out there was screaming, and now he couldn't seem to get any sleep. Aggravating a demon after having lost his shot at power was not a wise thing to do, but the fool out there was probably not even aware of the grevious mistake that they were making.
Godric brought himself to his feet, he was numb from being submerged in all of the snow. Sticking slightly out of the snow was what appeared to be a halberd. Godric reached forth and pulled it out. It was obviously one of the weapons of those two elementalists he fought earlier. The shaft was already decaying in his hand, but he restrained it so that it wouldn't be damaged. Honor mandated that he at least return the weapon, and honor was something he took very seriously.
Now, he had to investigate that screaming. Throwing stealth away in his aggravation, he walked through the snow, following his ears. Eventually, this lead him to find the last person he had ever expected, Acryn. Calling out to her, he said "You know, someone might have been trying to sleep out here Acryn."
