((Ya, that would be cool!))
Ryshel smirked. "It's ok, R4," she assured the droid. "He's not going to hurt you, he just wants to get a look at you." The droid responded with a series of offended-sounding beeps, like she was being violated, and Ryshel had to surpress a giggle. "Yes, I'm sure he'll stay away from your 'sensitive' parts."

Allie was a bit amused by the droid's reaction to Fillor, but was also confused as to what it was. She went over to Ryshel, "So.... what exactly is the R4? Aparently you can understand it, because you talked with it, but... it's not like any animal or humanoid I've ever seen..."
The monkey type thing ruffled Ryshel's hair as it moved to her other shoulder to get a different view.

Ryshel cringed, but she figured that not much could mess up hair as curly as hers was. "R4-D9, or R4 for short, is a droid, a specific kind of robot that has thoughts and feelings and the like. I've learned her code of language, which is just beeps and whistles as you've heard, and believe me, it takes FOREVER to learn her language, but it was worth it."

"Really..." Fillor touched his scanner several more times and dislodged one pannel to get a better reading. "Facinating. I haven't seen anything like this in years... not since the Doctor took me around...." He tried getting a better reading on the power source and said a few more things to himself that made no sence to anyone other than him.

Allie blinked, A droid? What on earth was that? Aparently Fillor knew what it was, and Allie didn't really want to give him the satisfaction of her embarasment to voice her question.

Ryshel could tell Allie was really unfamiliar with anything very modern, and while she wasn't very familiar with Allie's time and place of origin, she had assumed she would understand at least a little. But she sensed both confusion and feigned knowledge, and the reason why made her conceal a smirk. "Droids are basically people like us, they're just made out of metal parts. They think for themselves and everything, and they make good friends once you get to know their unique 'personalities', if you will."

"Oh..." Allie said, understanding. She looked at the 'droid' for a moment, but still wasn't sure how to think of it.
"So what are you doing with your..." she looked at the spaceship, not sure what to call it.

Fillor kept analyzing R4, ignoring all the world around him.

Lilith had been lurking around the ship. She was in her mist form, the blackness covering the floor, waiting for anyone that she knew to walk past or be around.
((ok Im back in I have a early morning...*sighs*))

Ryshel followed her gaze. "Oh, my spaceship? I'm, well, I don't think I can explain it well enough for you to understand." She whispered the last part, sensing that Allie didn't want Fillor to know how totally lost she felt. "Suffice it to say, I'm fixing stuff." She grinned.

Allie nodded, glancing in Fillor's general direction, noting that he was still absorbed in what he was doing. "Is there anything I can do to help? I'm feeling a bit useless currently."

"Thank you for the offer, but no; I don't think there's anything you can do to help." She glanced over at Fillor. "Though I do need my droid's help back, if you don't mind."
