Since I don't do drugs, maybe I should start drinking coffee or tea.
Although considering what happened to Zoe yesterday, and to Alex several weeks ago, maybe that's not such a good idea. The crash after the first hit of caffeine in years is rather spectacular.

The crash after the first hit of caffeine in years is rather spectacular. You could always try energy drinks. They work for me. I don't drink coffee or tea (except for herbal tea) either. I like Monster Assault. It kind of tastes like cherry cola. heart

Posers bother me. :[
So last night the DJ Club at the UW held a little mini-event in the basement of the Husky Union Building. It was a mini rave/club type thing (but not an actual party/rave), not too many people showed up because it wasn't really advertised. Now, there was this girl in excessive amounts of kandy and I guess what she thought was a "rave" outfit, and she was running around, hugging people, squealing, dancing on stage, etc.
Now, this wouldn't bother me too much, but I remember seeing her a lot of campus looking like a scene kid last year, and I've never seen her at parties before. There was one girl I knew I recognized from parties and two or three other kids that I was pretty sure I'd seen at some point, but this "kandy kid" I know I've never seen. That's saying something because I recognize almost all of the kandy kids that tend to party a lot. So masquerading as the event's token raver when one is not a raver at all = not cool. neutral
Maybe this shouldn't bother me, but it does.

Apparently the textbooks for my classes don't actually physically exist. The various library catalogs say that they do, and that they're on reserve so they should be in the libraries, but when I check, the books aren't there.
I'm screwed.

Maybe your classes don't actually exist either. Maybe your whole school is in virtual reality, and finding your text-books is just one more way for the virtual profs to drive you to the brink of insanity. evil ninja pirate

Go poke a librarian and say, "HELP ME PLEEZ". That's what they're there for. I have lot of readings on reserve for my Social Work classes. They can all be accessed online though. That makes me happy. smile

i have a project i havent started due tommorow too.
bah, i hate burning out like this.
at some point i'll post some of my assignments, some of them turned out pretty cool.

One of my assignments for my Quantative Methods class got lost... This mostly pisses me off because I'm pretty sure I did good on it. Well, I guess it is my own fault for putting it in the wrong box but still sucks. :< Luckily my proff is realy nice and said she'd put the word out that it is lost and she is looking for it and because she believes I passed it in if she doesn't end up finding it... She'll just take the average of all the assignments she has marks for me.
Grr... Stupid evil assignment boxes.

Not one person in my family remembered my birthday which was tuesday. Im not really sad about that, the sad thing is that i have to go to a football game tomorrow.
