Hmmm. Sometimes an alcoholic beverage helps me; I don't know if you're old enough or if you drink, but if you wanna try it it's up to you.

I use Excedrin Migraine for my migraines and I am taking sudafed PE for my sinuses and headache right now.
Sometimes those migraine patches or cool patches help ease me out of a really bad headache/migraine thingy. Sometimes having something with lots of caffine helps, but then the withdrawals the next day.. sweatdrop

I always just apply pressure to the head, and then release it. Like tying a towel around your head really tight for 20 seconds, then letting it go. *shrug* It works for me and it's Granny approved. xd (She doesn't like medicines she can avoid taking- she's apalachian like that.)

ozzyfan Hmmm. Sometimes an alcoholic beverage helps me; I don't know if you're old enough or if you drink, but if you wanna try it it's up to you. eek No no no no no....for one, I'm underage. For two, I don't condone drinking alcohol at all. Period. When I get older and come of age, I might drink occasionally and prolly only one drink at a time, but that's it. NO ALCOHOL FOR TANYA!!!!!!!! Excedrin migraine doesn't work anymore. If I take medicines more than once, they begin to wear down and eventually stop working. My body likes to build up immunities to medicines. xd And pressure usually makes it hurt worse. crying I usually close myself in my room, put my headphones on LOUD and wait for it to go away. Oh, and turn all the lights off. If it's during the sunlight hours, I crawl under my blanket. *nods*

I have never heard of loud noises helping a headache. When I have a migraine, I am very sound sensitive and have to have quiet when my head is pounding. xp
There is a new Migraine medicine by Advil that is out now, and there is 'Head On' which is supposed to be a rub on thing that helps with migraines and headaches...I don't know how it works though.
You might want to go to the doctor about your headaches...it could be something else like a severe sinus infection or something else. Plus you could be really damageing your hearing doing the loud music like that. eek

I prolly am damaging my hearing with it..... sweatdrop But it's the only thing that really WORKS. Medicine works the first time or two, but after that, nothing.
to Ozzy: Yah, I don't like having my age up on forums because it tends to take away from my credability on my views when they hear that I'm 16 and not, like, 28.
And I've been to my doctor about them-he just perscribed some really strong medicine that knocks out everybody that takes them......but me. I mean, the first time, it did. But after that, nothing. It severly sucks. lol.
And the headache is coming and going. It struk REALLY bad during dinner.....I thought my head was going to explode.

Well, [cough] I have the perfect solution!! Well its worked for me so hopefully it will for you. Meditating. I know its hard when your head is in so much pain, but either that, or grounding. Grounding has done WONDERS for me. I couldn't sleep the other night and I just sat on the floor, indian style, and put my palms on the ground, and just thought of my fingers being roots and Gaia as a lifeforce shooting gorgeous energy through me. Being a part of Gaia, everything about her just streaming through my body, thinking about oceans, forests, jungles, everything that Gaia is. This earth, trees. It calmed me so much and I felt so relaxed. Try that

Hopefully the headache thing straightens out for you. 3nodding
I've been having stomach problems lately. My mom seems to think it's due to stress, and I tend to agree. I have finals coming up, which is part of it, but mostly it's been all this practicum nonsense. First I was going, then I couldn't get the money to go, now I have the money but the guy didn't respond, and now I'm finally going again but I have less than a month to get ready for a roughly three month stay. . . in Japan. sweatdrop
*ducks and covers* I remember not being able to talk about my going to Japan last time.

(hehe, I know I'm gonna get one at the mall, so THAT'LL be a fun time today!!! xd ) I know its hard to meditate. I can't really do it either. I have to be able to be at pure peace, either calming music or silence, ocean waves on a cd help me ALOT. go to walmart they have a cd there, you know like on those little displays?, then have em there for like 10$. I instantly want to just go off and visualize the ocean. Its so easy to meditate when your thinking about that. So yeah. the Grounding thing is GREAT. Try it if you do get a headache and update me about if it works for you or not.

*ducks and covers* I remember not being able to talk about my going to Japan last time. Wow that sucks. But packing for a long trip really isn't as hard as it may sound. I packed for a month biking through europe ... 2 days before hand? Did the shopping a week before. Of course, I had limited packing space since it all had to fit in my backpack and that did wonders for deciding what was going with me xd Why weren't you able to talk about it?

My last trip to Japan was only a month long and a lot was left to the last minute then too. ^^
Month long bike trip through Europe? Wow. Sounds awesome. ^^ A friend of mine found a trip for a 20 day train trip through any 6 European countries connected by rail for like $600. It'd be neat if I weren't already going overseas.
Last time I wasn't supposed to talk about it since Yue was rather envious. sweatdrop That and of course I was so excited I wouldn't stop talking about it *cough*

If the medicine doesn't work or has stopped working..go back to the doctor! The sqeaky wheel gets the oil. You shouldn't have to put up with being in such pain! Keep on it until something consistantly works. Maybe they should do a catscan or x-rays of your head...something else could be at work here rather than just migraines. eek I will be praying for you. eek
Seldara: Japan sounds like fun! Do they really have all those vending machines everywhere that have anything you can imagine in them? I would love to go there and just look and eat all the yummy noodles! smile
