Nox felt quite happy with the assassin's almost-groan, wanting more when the knocking came. The Fire Lord sighed at Chase left to go answer the door, eyes still slightly glowing. D**n it. He'd been enjoying himself too. Brown eyes slowly dimming, Nox looked to the side from where he laid on the couch, not daring to move too much from his 'safe' spring-free spot, and eyed the priest. So this was Logan.

CHASE & LOGAN GRYE
The Stoic Assassin & God's Chosen Killer
The priest looked absolutely terrified as he turned to Chase, hand over his heart. "Father Chase, I really must beg of you to move somewhere else!" he exclaimed. "This place is absolutely horrible and it's such a hassle to come and visit you! I know for a fact I pay you more than enough to live in the finest palaces! Why must you choose this place...?"
Chase shrugged and walked past him, sitting out the couch and instantly, if more out of habit than anything, pulled Nox into his lap. "I live here because it keeps people like you out. That and it's the farthest thing I've found from my childhood home. Now hurry up and give me the information. You interrupted something." The assassin tone was almost borderline rude. On most days he could tolerate Logan. Even like him. The priest was one of the people he would lay down his life to protect. ...Which didn't mean much considering he would do the same for Loren.
But he had distracted Logan from his job by drawing attention to Nox, and the priest smiled widely. "Well hello there!" he greeted cheerfully. "And who might you be?" For someone highering an assassin, Logan had a very distinct, child-like quality about him.

Nox smiled, holding back chuckles at the priest's scared appearance. The guy with the hatchet wasn't that bad ... at least, not to Nox. He was happy at being pulled into the elf's lap again, and smiled back at Logan. "I'm Nox," he said, not one to go sprouting his Fire Lord status around for nothing. Plus it wasn't too important an issue ... and he wasn't sure how a 'priest' would react to that. Nox hated getting dunked with any kind of water, let alone holy water. Though, Logan seemed nice enough.

CHASE & LOGAN GRYE
The Stoic Assassin & God's Chosen Killer
The priest took note of how Chase held the other and giggled slightly. "And it looks like you and Father Chase are an item~" he said in a cheerful sing-song voice. "How wonderful!"
"Logan. The information."
Logan just waved him off and sat on the floor, grinning. "So how long have you two been seeing each other? When did you meet? How far have you both gone? You look a little young to be with someone Father Chase's age. Ah... But when suppose if your eternal age doesn't really matter...I bet you're older than you look." He giggled again.

Nox laughed at the priests childish enthusiasm, and total dismissal of what Chase said. The Fire Lord decided to have fun with his answers though. "We've been seeing each other quite often, since I don't mind coming over to his house," Nox said in the wrong context on purpose, "and we met in the morning." Well, technically the first day they'd met it had been morning, at the doctors home. "We've gone pretty far, though mostly riding on Markas. And as for my age," Nox chuckled, "I'd rather not count the years."He relaxed against Chase's chest, amused by the priest.

"There's a chapter on God that I don't understand..."
The priest blinked a bit, frowning. "Th-That's not what I meant- Markas really let you ride on him?!" That simple fact seemed to distract him from the rest of the conversation. "Really?! I've wanted to, but he won't let me. I think it would be amazing to get that close to Heaven!" His eyes were lit up and excited. "How was it? Did you get the sense of being complete? I've always imagined one would when being that close to God..."

Nox chuckled then smiled, nodding. "Flying is the best. Thing. Ever." The Fire Lord didn't seem to be talking about riding Markas though; this was more from personal experience. "I don't know about God, but it really is nice to be that high up. The only bad part is when you go too high ... then there's less air and it's colder too." Nox frowned softly. That was one thing that had kept him--a very long time ago--from trying to fly to the sun. Yes, he'd tried. It hadn't worked.

"There's a chapter on God that I don't understand...""I'm this man with this blood on my hands..."
"Ah, you're very lucky then..." Logan said with a smile. "To get that close to someplace so wonderful... I only hope I can reach there someday."
Chase waved a hand. "Logan, please... I want to get back to what I was doing before."
The priest snickered. "You mean the boy you're holding?" The innuendo coming from someone like him seemed completely out of place, especially considering his status.

Nox tried not to laugh. Such talk coming from a priest was highly amusing. Though ... he wanted to get back to what they'd been doing as well ... and get done, already. "Maybe I'll give you a ride sometime," Nox said, slowly, "... well, if Chase gets his job over with quick, maybe sometime soon ..." Hopefully that would get the priest back on the task at hand.

"There's a chapter on God that I don't understand...""I'm this man with this blood on my hands..."
Logan brightened even more at that, pulling out a large envelope from his robes and handing them to Chase. "His name is in there along with a picture," He said with a nod and a bright smile, not at all like he just sighed someone's death warrant.
The assassin didn't bother looking in the envelope. "What did he do?"
"No clue!" Logan chirped. "I'm sure it was something bad, though." He jumped up and stretched. "My voices were a little vague about this one but I never doubt them so... Just kill him and everything will work out well!"

Nox couldn't help but tilt his head at that. Though after a moment he sighed. Those that spoke with gods--or even the God--always ended up a bit ... warped, in his opinion. Which was what made him glad to be a simple force of nature instead of anything too godly. The material plain was just fine for him. Though now Chase had to go now ... That made Nox want to sigh again, but he didn't. He just looked at Chase. "I guess I'll wait here until you're done, huh?"

Nox smiled in a good-natured way, getting up off of Chase as the priest left. The Fire Lord looked around at the ... rundown condition of the apartment and seemed to get a gleam in his slightly-glowing eyes. "Well, get going then!" he said, but not unkindly. "The sooner you finish, the sooner you can come back," the lord added, smiling brightly to Chase. Though, he was already planning on ways to make the little apartment a bit more ... hospitable before the other came back. Lets just say there would be a lot of fixing of walls and ceiling space.

Nox blinked, smiling, but then Chase was gone. Rubbing his hands together, eyes glowing even more-so now, he transformed into his real form ... only much smaller than usual. Size was pretty easy for him to change, especially in his natural form, so he got to work on the walls first, squirming into a crack so he was in the inner wall and began strengthening the weak spots with a bit of special Fire Lord saliva. He'd done something similar when sleeping in caves or rocky areas. His warm, slightly magma-like saliva could be used as the world's best reinforcer/glue, and hardened in place as it cooled. Making small scurrying sounds as he made his way through the wall space, the Fire Lord made sure the walls wouldn't collapse anytime soon at least, and then went back out to inspect the ceiling, claws digging into the plaster. He was about the size of a bat, and could probably be mistaken for one if one didn't notice the scales and glowing eyes.
