Antares half-sprinted towards Ryu in a jousting-like manner. The armor didn't do anything to slow him down or hinder his movements.

Ryu dodged the attack as he grinned. "Not heavy huh? Well, not a problem." he said as he turned around quickly to cut Antares in the arm and then backflipped and stood on a defensive postion as he waited for Antares's reaction and next move.

Ryu's attack simply clanged off the armor once more. Turning to face Ryu, Antares took a spike hanging from the cloth part of the armor and threw it at Ryu. As this was still in mid-flight, Antares charged again, although this time at full speed in a zig-zagging motion.

Ryu dodged the spike, but wasn't expecting Antares charging at him at full speed. Ryu was thrown to the floor by Antares, but Ryu simply grinned and jumped to stand up. Then Ryu got his twin blades and began doing a strange maneuver with them. It cause an optical illusion that Ryu still had both swords with him, but instead he only had one while the other was already heading Antares's way.

Antares was hit by the blade. As it rebounded off the armor, a small cut formed where Ryu's sword hit. It wasn't a deep cut that could destroy the armor, but it was still visible. Antares stumbled back a bit, but used his glaive to stop him from falling. He went into a defensive position and waited for Ryu to make his move.

Ryu run quickly at Antares and attacking him rapidly with his twin blades.
(somewhat of a sword's rain. you know what I mean? sweatdrop )

Antares defended most of the attacks, but a few did manage to get passed him. As Ryu was about to hit him another time, Antares let go of his weapon with one hand and threw a punch directly towards Ryu's stomach.

Ryu clenched his teeth and let go of one of his swords as he tried to grasp some air. When he was done he kicked full house at Antares aiming at his legs in an attempt to make him fall down.

Antares went down onto one knee, but kept his composure. Seeing the sword that lay on the ground, he quickly swiped at it with his glaive, sending it to the far side of the classroom. Antares was breathing fairly heavily, this fight was evenly matched, neither of them seemed to have an advantage over the other.

Ryu looked at Antares's with a semi-frown. "Want to leave the weapons behind and make it a clean fist fight?" Ryu asked as he panted.

Antares nodded. "Very well then." He dismissed his glaive and focused so the armor would go back to it's original state before the match started. Antares stood there, ready for Ryu's attack. "I'm ready when you are."

Ryu let go of his sword and walked towards Antares. "I use kung- fu, so you better watch out for fast moves." Ryu said grinning as he got into the tiger position.

Antares just smiled. "Kung-fu is useless against Zen Do Kai." He said as he took position.

Ryu made a concerned face, but it wasn't too obvious "We'll see about that." he said as he approached Antares and tried to hit him using the snake tecnique.

(Sorry I took so long sweatdrop )
Antares swiftly parried the blow and aimed a kick at Ryu's side. from the position he was at the moment the kick would not have been strong, but enough to stop Ryu's actions momentarily so he could strike if it hit.
