Nailah watched her with narrowed eyes. She had the satisfying image of shooting her down but she couldn't do that. Even though she was acting completely insane she was still Idalla. "I hardly think it would have been fun though I'd relish a good battle. However I'm rather partial to my youth and your pleasure is not something I wish to give." At least not freely. She moved slightly stepping forward to see what Idalla would do still brandishing her daggers.

Idalla remained in place, watching intently to every movement, remaining keenly aware of Elias as well, stopping them both would be difficult. If her strength was still at its peak, she would have already put suggestions in their minds and manipulated them to her whims, but she needed to feed to restore her strength first. As it stood, she needed to keep a facade of fearlessness and the mentality to accompany it, screening out all but one emotion, desire. "Are you really certain? Stuck in the body of a teenager for all eternity? Always underestimated because of your 'age'? Wouldnt I really be doing you a favor?" Now she was inching forward as well. There was little to do at this point but gamble on taking the knife, maybe restraining her.

Nailah thought about it for a moment. She was always being told she was too young and always told she'd never grow up. She knew it was true. She was 19 in body and mind and she would remain that way until she died. She would never age and mature. The possibilities whispered through her mind like that of a lover's whisper. Niah's hand shook on the dagger and she broke her concentration. It was too overwhelming. One of her dagger's dropped and she stood there like she was frozen her mind nowhere near as alert as she needed to be.

The knife's slow displacement was all she needed. Idalla lunged forward and grappled with both of the girl's wrists, easily wresting control of one knife away from Nailah and holding her other arm at bay as she got even closer, her mouth openning and biting down on Nailah's neck, her fangs just penetrating the skin as she began to draw out blood as well as a beginning the process of drawing out her very life. From the bite itself, came exactly what she had said would, pain as ones energy was syphoned away by force but easily masked away if one willingly gave in.

Nailah felt fangs in her neck and screamed in outrage. She began berating herself over her stupidity. She had allowed her mind to drift and becauase of it now she was letting her very life be sucked from her. "No!" she screamed enraged. "I refuse to give in!" She brought her other dagger up and slashed at Idalla's stomach. She knew from experience the amount of pain it could cause. She yanked her head away and screamed in pain. Slowly she reached up and felt the blood on her shoulder. "Dammit!" She began breathing heavy and her eyes blazed. Slowly she held the dagger by the blade and prepared to throw it. She aimed directly for Idalla's throat, her rage overriding her need to keep Idalla safe. "I'm going to kill you b***h!"

The taste of blood... The moment it touched her tongue she snapped. She found freedom from the instinct of her kind then and nearly released Nailah herself, just as the knife swept across her stomach. Pain and blood, were the first two things she could sense, followed by the feeling of life not her own inside her. Quickly she released and pulled far back, her wings sweeping around her body as she looked at Nailah, her face pale. "Nailah, what did I try to... Its to late for me... Im dangerous..." Idalla stood still, in sheer horror at what shed tried, and awaited the knife's touch.

Nailah was high on her rage. She came forward quickly the knife poised to hit it's mark. She reached about to ram the cool blade into soft skin and then stopped herself. She dropped the knife and it clattered to the floor. Then she fell to her knees. "Idalla..." She swallowed and laid her palms on the cool floor trying to get a hold of all she was feeling. She bit her lip until the metallic taste of blood filled her and she was finally able to focus on that and calmed down. SHe looked up at Idalla with tears in her eyes. "I...almost..." she stopped unable to say the horrible words.

"Why didnt you?" She said, quite confused as to why she was still alive. "Its... what I wanted, more than anything. Its gone now... my only chance..." Her words faultered more and more with every syllable until she dropped to the floor as well, her wings wrapped tightly around her like a blanket as she broke fully into tears, only a small gap in the wing cover revealing allowing to see her face hiding beneath their protection as she broke down.

Nailah's hands clenched into fists. She slammed her hand into the stone floor so hard it cut her hands and began to bleed. She stood and leaned against the table her eyes filling with tears. "I can't..." She looked at Idalla and began to sob even harder. Blood poured from the wound on her shoulder and she wasn't even aware but her dress was torn. She shakily grabbed the table and felt all the emotions fling into one ball in her system. Her stomach lurched and she was afraid she was gong to be sick. She clutched her stomach and then swayed on her feet. "I...think...I'm losing it..." she managed to say. She swallowed and blinked as everything began to lose focus. Then she fell straight into the blackness. THe last image she had was Idalla looking as though she had lost her best friend. "I'm sorry..." she said as she fell.

Nelphean's ears twitched with the sound of forlorn women. He quickly followed the sound until he came across two very degenerated girls, one sitting, and the other unconsious. "Of all the days to regai my sight, this had to be the first thing I saw. You planed this didn't you, Caliburn..."

Idalla just sat shivering, she couldnt look up even as Nelphean wandered in. "I did it... Broke my promise... I cant go back... Its not going to stop..." Broken sentences were all she was capable of, mind lost in the depths of her sin. But given a proper minute to recollect the current situation, she forsaked her thoughts and concerns in favor of recifying what she could. Looking up at Nel, she said; lips trembling; "Nailah needs to to have her neck looked at... and we need to get her to her room..."

"Life is just one coincidence after another, as while I was in the infermery, I 'borrowed' a couple of potions." Nelphean pulled a strange vial from the folds of his cloak.
"Bastet took a fairly big beating the other day, and I wasn't sure if her regeneration would suffice to heal her sufficently. I scurried through the draws and found some vials of 'Phoenix tears'... I hear they have healing powers." Nelphean examined the neck of the young woman, and felt the wound with his fingers.
Nelphean easily pieced together the events, or some of them, through the evidental wounds on Nailah's body. "Well, there's no time like the present."
Nelphean poored some of the healing elixer upon the wound.

Idalla managed to just barely standup, still wearing her wings like a heavy cloak, the knobby claws atop them clasping like a collar beneath her throat. "Its not deep. The emotional scarring is going to be much worse." She said, still very much apalled at herself and afraid of when she'll next break down. "I cant look at her... or myself now. Nelphean, I need to get out of here." Still concealing the stomach wound, she couldnt very well walk, and was more or less stuck right there.

"Where are her daggers?" Nelphean said softly, "Idalla dear, you seem less.. viggorous than normal, might I inquisite to what wounds you may have recieved from this frey?" Nelphean picked Nailah up gentally, and lay her ontop of the table. Still holding the mostly full vial, he wondered if it would help the demon's physiology.
He turned to face the despaired demon, and awaited a responce.

"Dont assume anything." She snapped, receding further from his kindness. "Im fine." Holding herself with as much dignity as she could, looking rather regal in fact, Idalla watched him work with fear. She didnt see an escape, and she didnt see her friends forgiving her easily. All the while, blood began to run down the inside of her wing, her muscles cupping the bottom edge to catch the slow trickle and prevent it from staining the floor. Maybe improper care for her wounds wouldnt be suicide, but it was probably to late for freedom anyways. "Her daggers...." She pointed to one with her blood clean hand, then moved on to the other, just a few feet from her feet, which she prayed she wouldnt be asked to pick up.
