A Female Purple Fire Dragon came slithering out of one of the many tunnels inside the Mountain. She had lilac stripes going down her throat and belly, all the way to the tip of her flaming tail. She looked around, her gaze very soft. She slithered across the floor and over to another tunnel. She poked her head inside of it, nosing around for a few of the many crystals that were lodged within the tunnels walls.

Appelsin slipped into the tunnels and kept moving until she got to the chamber she slept in. There was a nice little pile of gems in the center of it, on doubt left by the strange dragon with hearts on him. As her belly rumbled, she forgot about the unknown dragon and started to eat them.

The Purple Fire Dragon was able to nudge a few of the brightly colored stones out of their resting places. She took them into her mouth, slithered back out of the tunnel into the main chamber, and sat along the wall. She dropped the stones onto the ground, nudging them into a light to dark fashion. She then wrapped her tail around the lightest one, picking it up, and began to lick it like a popsicle.

Rufus shrugged. "Are you sure these Surface Dragons are so bad? The one that...communicated...didn't seem so horrible, and she said Dragons like that aren't around anymore."

The unknown dragon finally reached one of the little fiery dragons, he scooped a red one up and began down the mountain with it as fast as he could go. "My master will be pleased... I hope..."

The Purple Female continued to lick the strange looking gem, its size decreasing slowly, but gradualy nonetheless. After she had finally finished the first stone, she moved on to the next brightest one. The first one she had eaten happened to be white, just like this one happened to be yellow. She did the same, wrapping her tail around it, and holding it up to her mouth, beginning to lick it like a popsicle, much in the same fashion as the last.

Thamin The unknown dragon finally reached one of the little fiery dragons, he scooped a red one up and began down the mountain with it as fast as he could go. "My master will be pleased... I hope..." Rufus screeched as he was being picked up, and made himself too hot to touch. Dropping from the Dragon's hands, he darted away again, back underground.

The unknown dragon screeched in pain as he was burned and dropped the small wriggling dragon. With a low growl, he darted after it into the tunnels.

The Female's head jerked up, hearing the screach of one of her comrads. It sounded like Rufus, a friend of hers since they were both very young. She dropped her stone, grabbing them with her tail, and then placing them back into the tunnel in which she found them. After her deed was done, she quickly slithered off into the direction that she had heard her friend's screach of terror.

Rufus dashed faster, rushing right past the female. He was too intent on getting away to even notice that the female was there.

The unknown dragon stopped as his eyes adjusted to the dim light. The tunnels were sweltering, but he did not mind. He cocked his head to one side to listen for the sounds of the fiery dragon. He was about to give up when he heard a loud call from one. Instantly he started to follow the sounds.
