Bradwen manages to scrounge up enough consciousness to lift his head up from the ground again. He looked around. No one seemed to be outside right now.
"Well of course why would they? we hardly ever go outside normally anyways. I know everytime I do I end up getting lost." Bradwen mutters, chuckling to himself.
He pulled himslef up to a sitting position and noticed that it was unusually difficult to do so, even for being beaten and thrashed about like he was. He looked down at himself and noticed his left arm hadn't moved. He tried to move it. Again. Again. All he managed to do was barely move a couple fingers.
"Well that's damned inconvenient" he said. Sitting back against the cold, iron bars of the fence and poking his left arm, wondering how long it would take to heal.
((Oh right...server maintenence. I came back at such a lovely point, didn't I? XD))

Khenu continued his way to the doors and pushed them open, peeking outside. Still raining, did it ever stop? His fingers fell into grooves and he looked at the door seeing a bird on it. That wasn't there before.
Dismissing it he stepped out into the rain, looking for anything. OF course his young aged mind kept him from venturing too far from the manor's doors. "Hello?"

((Haha, I fixed it for em, long live my main Internet connection!))
Aura flipped open the book once more, and pulled a piece of paper and pen out of the desk. She started jotting down the incantation in the book, scribbling so fast she only hoped that she would be able to read it later.

Saradin's feet fell to the floor in slow deliberate steps. Barely capable of remaining upright, he leaned against the wall as he trailed... something. The reason for this painful walk was eluding him now that he was out of his room. Eventually his journey carried him to the main door, at which he stood silently admiring the ever rainy sky, oblivious to those around him.

Bradwen looked around again, still unconciously poking his left arm. The manor seemed the same, as well as he could remember it. Of course his memory was all sorts of fuzzy, so he wouldn't remember if something had changed anyway. He looked straight ahead, and he could see the front door in the distance, with a figure on the porch.
"So I'm on the side of the mansion I guess...Hey! This was the same part of the gate I crashed into when I first came here!" he said to himself, grinning ear to ear as if what he just said should be taken as an accomplishment.

Being cold, wet, an mostly creeped out by now was Khenu's threshold. He placed his boomerang in his belt and backed up towards the manor, watching the outside. yes creeped out was the word.
Backing up he bumped into something or rather someone and let out one of those involuntary squeaks that he hated but couldn't help doing. He spun around, only to recognize the man who had fought in the battle with the others. "Um, Saradin...right?"

"Hmm?" Saradin's eyes fell from the sky to the child in front of him, but with a look as if they couldn't see. "Yes... I'm Saradin..." He paused for breath between every word. "And you would be Khenu, correct?" Despite his weary appearance, Saradin still held the same steady tone as always. Sidestepping the boy before recieving a response, Saradin trudged into the yard, again watching the sky as droplets broke against his face.

Eyes half closed and snapped back open quickly. Khenu shuttered. But not from the rain or anything cold but from Saradin. Even the weakest empathic would probably get a reading off of this guy.
Khenu twiddled his fingers for a moment before stepping out again, standing a few feet away and behind Saradin. "Are you okay? You don't feel okay..."

"I've never felt better in all of my life..." Obviously sincere words, but so were what followed. "...but never worse in all of my days." Taking a moment to consider his listener, he cleared his head of the unusual crytipcs. "I guess... I'm just feeling weak, but this is the first time I've felt this way. It's new... and I like it."

Bradwen snapped out of his rain-trance again with the voices moving out into the yard. He glanced out into the yard and spotted a second figure now, they seemed to be conversing on something, though the rain drowned out the words so Bradwen could understand little of what they spoke. He seemed to recognize one of the figures though...the rain soaked visage of the one looked so familiar, but Bradwen couldn't quite place it, especially from that distance. He stopped poking his arm and began to concentrate, trying to remember who it was that the one figure was.

"Okay so you've never felt weak before and now you are and you like feeling that way, I got ya." He drew in a breath then let it out quickly. "You can like it but you shouldn't let yourself stay like that too long, you'll make yourself sick, and I don't think that Aura would like that, she seems to get really upset if something is wrong with one of us. Like when she looks at me she doesn't show she's wondering about me, but I can feel it."

((Okay okay, sorry for dropping out, me and the parents were fighting over the net, obviously I won, go me! xd ))
She slammed the book shut after finishing her writing and slid it back to it's place on the shelf. Hopefully, she would never have to look at it again, this had been the second time she had ever used it. But hopefully she wouldn't have to anymore. Aura made her way from the library and into the halls where she continued on to her room, considering her options. She could always ask for an observer...no need to get herself killed by being foolish that would only kill her and Eclipse both.
Speaking of Eclipse the wolf had wandered off again, catching the smell of dirt and cookies. Dirt and cookies, coffee, and metal. All three mixed with his own scent. He followed his nose, leading him to the foyer where the door was open, and outside stood both Saradin and Khenu. He stood in the doorway, just watching them.

"Maybe... but I think I already am." He sat on the muddy ground, still staring up at the sky. "This body feels like its dieing... and the only thing that will help it will take away my peace..." Leaning farther and farther back, Saradin eventually dropped onto the ground, sprawled out, still watching the sky as his eyes slowly closed. "Do I want to get better?"

"Do you? Sounds like a personal question to me." Khenu walked over and sat down on the ground next to Saradin. "I don't see why not. I mean you seemed happy enough to me." He though for a moment drawing on the wisdom he had been taught but the quirks of a ten year old's logic being thrown in. "Well sometimes you have to take or have things that are bad for you, just in small doses. Maybe that's what you need, I bet that would make you feel better."
He looked over his shoulder and whistled at the hawk dog that was standing in the doorway. "Come here boy!" Khenu then looked back to Saradin. "So what is it that will help you?"

Eclipse looked at Khenu for a moment. He treated him as if he was an animal, then again he was to Khenu. He trotted out into the rain and came to a stop in between the two. He pawed at Saradin's shoulder once then laid down between them, watching them both.
