No one is going to have to change. You see I have been introduced to the ever so sexy world of Dungeons and Dragons. And I am badass at it and a very fast learner. I have now learned the beauty of separating races and classes.
BUT don't worry, Tet and I are going to restructure the classes and races in such a way that no one actually has to change their character at all, but it's going to give new players and new characters and easier time of creating something new. Effectively I'm thinking of something along the lines of 3.5 Dnd and ADnd for how the classes and races will function together. Meaning that everyone will have the ability to choose a race and a class, but there will be certain limitations to what race can combine with what class.
Part of this decision came about because I'm currently using Saegareth as a setting to write my own DnD Campaign with my own pantheon and rules based on Planeswalking (Tet is helping with that and it's going along AWESOME)
I'll also be eliminating race/classes that really don't belong in this world. I love all of your creative abilities, but I have now learned how to be an "Evil DM" and I shall start imposing some of my powers upon all of you. But don't worry, nothing I do will take away from the fun of the game.
Wisty, my love, Aria and Creed and Kisrafel and all of those wonderful characters will remain. biggrin I love them and Sairath and Suriya too much to see them die.
The important thing to know is that no one needs to eliminate any of their characters. All active members are currently playing valid races and classes. So you'll fit right into the restructuring. And don't worry we're not doing anything overly complicated. As much as I would love to run a DnD campaign online, adding stats into a forum based RP is just not logistically sound. So the RP structure will remain the same as it started as, which is a free form round robin narrative.
Hope this clarifies a few things.

Oh, so you created your own pantheon?
Does that mean you no longer need mine? Cause I could use it.
As for the whole thing about the DnD influence. It sounds alright, but I am wary since now that I've taken time to look into my creations (bloodlines). I've been hit with tons of new ideas. Thus, I will wait and since I haven't a clue where you are going. That and I am not one of those who desires to keep the characters I've created. I'm willing to modify them...there are holes I need to fill. My characters are far from where they could be.

No,no Marguerite, I'd still like to use yours for this version of Saegareth. My DnD Campaign based on Saegareth needed a new pantheon based more into the DnD verse so that it could better support Planeswalking.
ANYWAYS, I don't want to confuse anyone. The long and short of it is, please keep playing, none of the changes will affect you too terribly.

I'm sorry.
We just don't have very active members right now.
I know for me, that I want to make some changes to my characters. So playing them would be pointless. That aside, many here also hold important positions in other guilds where they have to be active. This guild is a lot easier on what passes as active.
Again I am sorry.
If you want you and I can make a private roleplay in till this place becomes more active or in till Wolfie comes back. Which is all I can offer right now.

Le boo! Honestly, I'm gonna try to rework this, see if I can't get this to make the guild a comeback. Not for my characters, since I honestly want to get rid of all except Brener. But because there are soo many other guilds that are very similar to this one in terms of setting/type of guild. And I've found a few drew inspiration from this one.
